? Mariana’s P.o.v?
For the past weeks,Jasper and i have been pretending for everyone, It’s really getting to Austin, and Nicole has been going super cr@zy.
“Are you sure about my hair?” Alice asked as she stared at herself in the mirror,She called me over to help her with her make up.
“Yeah,You look beautiful,Chase will drool over you” She squealed excitedly.
Chase asked her out on a date which made her super excited.
“Speaking of hair,i have never seen you with long hair”
“I don’t have long hair,i have tried but it doesn’t want to grow,so i gave up”
“Your mom has beautiful long hair”
“I have no idea why mine isn’t long” A car horn was heard outside.
“He’s here,Byeeeee” She hugged me excitedly and walked away.
“Well,am going home” I said to myself as i took my purse, Alice’s house is so huge.
I walked down the stairs,i heard the click of a cup,i turned around and i saw Jasper drinking beside their personal bar.
“If it isn’t my pretend boyfriend?” I teased as I walked towards him and sat down on the extra stool.
“What are you doing here?”
“I helped Alice with her make up,She has a date with Chase”
“What?!”
“She didn’t tell you?”
“I told that douchebag to stay away from my sister”
“He has changed, He’s not a player anymore,He changed..for Alice” He rolled his eyes and took a big gulp of his drink.
“Why are you even drinking?”
“I just feel like drinking”
“So you feel like drinking..Six bottles of whiskey? You should have passed out by now”
“Am used to it already,baby girl”
“Well,can i have a taste?”
“No” i pouted slightly.
“Why?”
“Because, Mariana,you said at Brandon’s party that you don’t take alcohol”
“Well, i changed my mind” He scoffed,i tried to grab the drink but he was quick to keep it from me
“You are still underaged”
“Am 20 years, Jasper”
“And am 22,this drink says only people from 21 are legal,So back off, Princess”
“Okay, let’s do this.. If i can say something about you that i know, you’ll let me drink”
“Yeah, Whatever”
“Hmmm..Okay, let’s see..I got one,You became a player because you have had your heartbroken” He bursted into laughter.
“What’s funny?”
“Mariana,this isn’t a movie where the guy becomes a player because he was heartbroken”
“isn’t it always like that?”
“No but I’ll let you take the whiskey,just don’t throw up on me”

Few Minutes Later.
? Jasper’s P.o.v?
Mariana only had three cups of whiskey and she’s already saying gibberish,well not exactly gibberish, She’s just being super honest with me.
“I loved him,you know”
“Loved who? Austin?”
“Yeah,I loved him so much,maybe i still do” She laughed hysterically.
“Why would you love a dkhead like him?”
“He was kind, Sweet, caring and everything we shared together,all the memories, the ksses were so real to me,i never thought he would do this to me” She started crying softly.
“I gave him my vrg!nity,How stupid of me” She added while taking another cup of whiskey.
“You are not stupid,You were in love”
“You’re talking like you know something about being in love”
“Mariana, There’s more to a person than what everyone sees”
“So you are saying there’s more to Jasper Hale than we know”
“Maybe”
“Then I’ll like to know more about him,i hate to admit it but you are.. really nice and handsome” I chuckled
“Now, you are really drunk.. You would never compliment me when you are sober”
“Now you say something nice about me”
“You are different from other girls i have met and trust me,i have met alot of girls, You never cease to amaze me everyday” She smiled softly,then stood up from the stool.
“Where are you going?”
“Home” She lost her balance but i caught her in time.
“Am so clumsy”
“You are drunk and you can’t go home like this,I’ll take you to the guest room” She slept off in my arms while i carried her bridal style to the guest room.
I placed her gently on the b.ed,i tried to move away but my shirt was stuck in her ear ring,I gently remove it,then tucked a strand of hair behind her ear,then walked away.
? Mariana’s P.o.v?
I woke up with a serious headache, I looked around and i found out that i wasn’t in my room.
“Where am i?” The door opened and Alice walked in with a glass of water and some pills.
“I can’t believe you got drunk with Jasper”
“I guess i got carried away, I don’t remember half of what happened last night”
“Did he take advantage of you?”
“No,why would you ask that?”
“It’s nothing,just take this pills and you’ll be okay,I already told your mom that you’ll be back this morning” She walked away while i took the pills.
I took the stairs down to the living room and Japser was having breakfast with his mom and Alice.
“Mari,Are you feeling okay?” His mom asked
” A little,i should get going”
“Aren’t you going to stay for breakfast?” Jasper asked.
“No,i really need to get going but thanks anyway”
“Then i’ll drop you off” Japser stood up and walked towards me.
Let’s go” He said and took my hand in his, then we walked out.
“I know i was drunk yesterday so i mut have said so many stupid stuff” I said as Jasper started his car.
“You didn’t say anything stupid”
“Really? I thought people say stupid things when they are drunk”
“No, people say the truth when they are drunk,they only say stupid things when they take weed”
“So what did i say?”
“Your said that i was nice and handsome” My eyes widen in shock.
“Then i was really out of my senses,i don’t think you are handsome” He chuckled slightly
“Yeah, right.. Keep lying to yourself,Baby girl” I swatted his arm making him chuckle.
We finally got to my house,he opened the door for me to come down.
“Well, thanks for dropping me off”
“No problem, Princess” We stared at each other for a while,then we both started laughing.
“Why are you laughing?”
“I don’t know, because you started laughing first”
“No, I didn’t”
“Either way i like the sound of your laughter” Realizing what i just said,i looked away quickly.
He held my chin for me to face him,I stared into his blue eyes.
“I didn’t know you two pretended on weekends too” Jasper and i turned around and it was Brandon.
“Brandon? What are you doing here in my house?”
“I came to see if you wanted to hang out but I can see you are busy”
“Mariana,am leaving,take care of yourself” Jasper surprisely kssed my cheek and headed to his car
“Jasper, remember this is all a pretence, Mariana can never love someone as messed up as you” Brandon said making Jasper turn away from his car to face Brandon.
“What did you say?”
“Jasper,i know you so well, Your sister knows you, Mariana is too good for you, You are like a leech on her body that will suck every good thing away from her”
They tried to lunge at each other but i quickly stayed in their middle.
“Stop,Okay..I have a really bad headache and i really want to rest so both of you,leave..right now”
They gave each other deadly glares before Jasper entered his car and zoomed off, Brandon gave me one last look before he walked over to his car.
