As if he heard it, the dragon started moving closer to Kira, she jumped in fear and ran behind Michael screaming “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’ll never be rude to anyone again, I’ve changed”
The dragon stopped, he stared at me for a while, even though his face was scary but I bet he’s like the David of his kind, the cutiest and strongest, really no wonder why he’s the king.
He turned to mum, she took a step back. The dragon stretched out his hand, mum stared at the hand for a while, she looked up at the dragon, he blinked at her. She smiled and got on his hand.
“What are you doing?” Dad asked her but mum only waved at him. With mum in his palm, the dragon drew her closer to his face, he made a sound and stared at her for a while and then gently dropped her back on the ground.
“He said you did well” the dragon lord said to her.
Mum smiled.
The dragon picked up salvador and his men from his back and threw them to the ground.
“Ouch, that will hurt” Ricky muttered.
The dragon grunted at his dragon lord for a few minutes and then walked away.
“He said i should get you home” the dragon lord stated.
“Good, get me the hell out of here” Salvador yelled.
“Except you and your friends, the dragon king instructed that you will serve him for 10 befor you leave” the dragon lord said to him.
“Hahahah, serves you right dude” Henry laughed out loud.
“We warned you” mum said to him.
“Come on” the dragon lord said to the rest of us, we followed him while Salvador and his men were screaming in the temple. I kinda feel sorry for them.
We got out of the temple’s gate and the gate closed, the tree vines covered It again, it was as if it never opened.
We walked a few blocks away, the dragon lord stopped.
“Behind that house is a tunnel, inside the tunnel, there’s a flight of stairs, climb the stairs and find your way home” he instructed.
“Hey dude, we had a very bad experience with a tunnel on our way here” Ruby tried to tell him but he walked out.
“OK, let’s go guys” dad instructed.
“Going back to that jungle is so scary” Kiwi whimpered.
“As long as we are together, we will figure it out” mum assured us.

We entered the tunnel and switched on our flash light, we walked a few meter and there stood the flight of stairs.
“Alright, ladies first” dad stated and paved way for mum.
Mum began climbing followed by Kira and the rest of us.
“What’s the hold up?” I heard Kira ask mum.
“Just a door” mum replied as she pushed a door open.
“Oh my God” Kira muttered.
“What is it?” I asked her as I climed out only to find myself in a cake store.
“How did you people get in here?” A woman whom I presume to be the owner of the store fired at us. “Are you thieves, I’m calling the police”
She fished out her phone, we tried to explain things to her but ahe wasn’t listening to us.
“Hello, police, there are some thieves in my store” she complained.
“Run” dad screamed at us and we scampered out of the store.

We entered into the busy streets, I looked at the sign post of a barber’s shop and realized we were in mexico city.
“How is this possible, so the Nearest way to the temple is under a cake store” Michael screamed as dad tried to wave down a taxi.
“We suffered for nothing” Ruby complained.
“I think the lesson we were supposed to learn was that there’s no short cut to anything” dad tried to calm us down.
“But there was a shortcut, we just didn’t see” David mumbled.
“Guys, we are on the news” Kira informed us, she pointed at the bill bored, all their pictures except mine was there.
HEADLINE: BEVERLY HILLS KIDS WENT TO A NIGHT CLUB AND DIDN’T RETURN, IT’S BEEN A WEEK AND NO ONE KNOWS WHERE THEY ARE.
“I need to call my dad’s Pilot to come pick us up” David stated. He borrowed someone’s phone and made the call. “OK, he’ll be here by tomorrow morning.
“Let’s find a hotel we can lodge In for the night” dad stated.
“How about that one” Kiwi asked, she pointed at a hotel I can’t even pronounce the name.
My only happiness is that we made it out alive, and above all, I’m a free girl, no more curse, no more loneliness, my parents are back and I have new friends, what more can I ask for.
I felt Davi’s hand on mine, i looked up at him.
“Happy birthday in addy” he said to me with a broad smile. I smiled back.
I already forgot that tomorrow is the almighty 17th birthday.
He held me as we ran to the hotel with the rest.
