CHAPTER 21
*THE NEXT MORNING*
MONICA’S POV
I woke up, took my bath, wore a blue over sized shirt with a red tie, and blue trouser, with men pointy shoes, with my black purse.
I got this clothes from the first Florida thrift shop I went to because I had no clothes and it’s the cheapest.
I left my room to the living room and met China, dressed up in uniform, eating the leftover casserole and Bianca dressing Gigi up for school.
“Good morning guys.” I greeted as I walked in.
“Morning babe.” Bianca replied.
“Morning.”
“Good morning mommy.” Gigi greeted.
I smiled “Good morning my little Cupcake.” I kssed her head.
“Why are you dressed up like my husband?” Bianca laughed.
I glared at her “Today’s Gigi’s school parents day so I’m dressing as the dad.”
“Oh.” Bianca nodded.
“China, can you hurry up, so that I can drop you off?” I asked.
“Don’t worry, I’ll drop China off at the hotel, Vicky wants us to go on a date over there.” Bianca said.
“Who’s Vicky?” China asked.
“My husband.” She replied.
“You’re married? How old are you?” China asked.
“I’m 22 years old and he’s 7 months old.” She said rubbing her stomach.
“I wonder who’s gonna drive.” China muttered and I scoffed.
“Come on Gigi, let’s go.” I said as Gigi and I walked out of the apartment, left the building to the public garage.
We entered our car and I drove off to Gigi’s school.

*Crown Elementary School*
GIGI’S POV
Mommy parked her car at parking lot and we unbuckled our seatbelts.
I looked outside the car window and saw most of my classmates with their mommies and daddies.
Even Oliver has a daddy. Annie too has a daddy but I don’t know where my daddy is. Mommy said that he’s too busy to see me. I’ve not even seen his face.
I don’t even want to go to school today.
I fake winced as I touched my head “Mommy, my head hurts.” I lied.
“Nice try dear, we’ll get to the school clinic then get you treated.” mommy said.
I pouted “But mommy…”
“Sweetie, I know you don’t wanna go to school because of your dad but at least you have a mom.” mommy grinned sheepishly.
I rolled my eyes “It’s not enough. I wish my daddy’s here today.”

MONICA’S POV
I sighed sadly as I patted my daughter’s face “Sweetie, you see these clothes I’m wearing?”
She nodded “Uh-huh.”
“Think about it as your dad. Which means your mommy and daddy are attached to each other.” I smiled.
She smiled lightly “Okay, mommy and daddy.”
I giggled as I kssed her head and we got out of the car and walked into the school.
“Gigi!” A cute little brown hair boy shouted.
“Oliver!” Gigi shouted back and went to the boy.
I bumped into a blonde rich-looking woman.
“Hey!”
“Oh my goodness, I’m so sorry.” I pleaded.
“How dare you? Clumsy girl, why are you even here? As a guardian?” She asked rudely.
“No, as a mom and dad to my daughter, Gigi.” I smiled.
“Where’s the dad? Let me guess, he ran away from you because he finds out you were pregnant.” She smirked.
“No, he’s really busy at work so I wanted to represent him by dressing like a man.” I said.
She cringed at me “Is that why you dressed like poor raggy clumsy girl?”
I grit my teeth with my mouth closed “Yes.”
The woman gave me a contempt look “How old are you?”
“I’m 21.” I replied.
“You’re too young to be a mom, how old is your child?” She asked.
“5 years old.” I replied.
“Ugh, $hame on you, so you had your daughter at 16, aren’t you even a$hamed of yourself?” She asked, feeling irritated.
“I’m not.” I said.
“You should be. In fact, if I were you, I would have ab©rted the baby when I found out. Be hiding the child so I won’t feel a$hamed.” She said.
I smiled “Wow, and you’re not a$hamed of saying such things?”
“Huh?”
“Advising people to ab©rt their babies, being ashamed of your child because you’re a teenager.
I’m pretty sure you’ve done such stvpid things, now you’re advising people to like you.” I said.
“How dare you say such things to me?” The woman said angrily.
“She’s right Mrs Collins.” Mrs Randall walked up to us. “And insulting other parents is not allowed in this school. It affects the child’s education here.”
““Urrggghhh!!!!” The woman groaned angrily as she stormed off.
I smiled surprisingly at Mrs Randall “Thanks for helping me.
“You’re welcome, I still feel bad for treating you like te..rrible person. I’m really sorry.” She pleaded.
“It’s okay.” I replied.
“Parents, come on with your kids.” A teacher said and all of us come into colourful 1st grade class, which is also kindergarten.
All of us sat on the floor with our children and a parent come out in front of the class with their child to talk about their lifestyle and occupation.

GIGI’S POV
I cuddled my mommy tightly and was watching Annie’s mommy and daddy talking about their lives.
“Good morning people, my name is Mr Charles Collins.” Her daddy said.
“And I’m Sarah Collins and this is our beautiful daughter Annie Collins.” Her mommy said.
Annie put her tongue out at me and I frowned at her.
“I work as a nurse at Florida hospital. I give people ingestions and save people’s lives.” Annie’s mommy bragged.
“And I’m a pilot, I fly across the seas, deserts and oceans, and from our country to different countries.” The father bragged.
“Her daddy must be very busy and still come for her parents day. What about my daddy?” I asked my mommy but she looks scared.
