CHAPTER 62

“Nirvana wait!, Nirvana!!” Brandon said, running after her
Nirvana got in the car and drove off before he could reach her
He went back in and grabbed the car keys before leaving for the car again
She entered and drove roughly down the road but he has no idea of the direction she went
He drove home but she’s not home, he almost went mad when he tried her line but she’s not picking
He rested on the car bonnet frustratedly and he hoped to cry but tears refused to fall
“Nirvana” she said slowly, looking up again
His mind went to Farrell and he got in the car again but he doesn’t even know her house
He remembered she once saved Farrell’s line on his tab so he left the car again and went in
He got the tab and luckily he found her number
He called up to five times before she could pick
“Hello…” Farrell said
“Is Nirvana with you?” He asked
“Oh… Nirvana?, Em….. Yes she’s… She came in two minutes ago and refused to talk to me, she has been crying” Farrell replied and Brandy cur$ed himself inwardly
” She’s… Crying?” He said, feeling heartbroken
“Yes, and she refused to tell me why, did something happen between you guys?* Farrell asked
“You know what?, Just… Find a way to make her stop crying please, just find a way” he replied
” Oh.. ok I’ll do that” Farrell replied
” And please don’t allow her to go out, stay with her and pacify her, I’ll be calling to check on her so you’ll tell me when she finally calms down” he said
” Alright” Farrell replied and he hung up
He left the house immediately
Hideout**
“Can someone just describe what just happened in one word?” Paxton said
*Crazy” May replied
“Thanks, it seems you have a little bit of sense left… It’s crazy!, She called my Don a cheat?, A guy she can’t do without, she just slapped him and told him I hate you! ” Paxton said
” Wait… She called him a cheat, meaning… ” Sandra said
” Reagan” Heather replied and they can hear footsteps as Reagan came downstairs
“What exactly happened up there?” Jones asked
Reagan climbed down fully and has this guilty look on her face
“I… I kssed Brandon” she said slowly
“What the he.ll!, Reagan!” May exclaimed
“I wasn’t in my right state of mind I swear, I don’t know why I did it I…. I was just disoriented and.. ” Reagan sniffed
” Don’t tell me Nirvana caught you” Paxton said
” She apparently did, why else will she leave angrily like that” Jones said
” Reagan you’ve caused something really bad, Brandon hates when she’s like that, he’ll hurt you” Heather said and almost immediately, the door opened roughly and Brandon came in with his gvn in hand
He pointed it straight at Reagan and everyone gasped
“I’m sorry Brandon” Reagan said, finally letting out her tears
“You made her this way!, Do you know how jealous I was when I saw her talking and laughing with Mateo?, Now she caught you kssing me, how is she supposed to forgive me Reagan, why must you do that! ” Brandon said angrily
” Boss please… ” Jones said
” Reagan just destroyed the trust we’ve been building for months, she just… Ruined it all” Brandon replied
” Still you have to calm down, Nirvana will calm down, she’ll come around” Paxton said
” You don’t know her more than I do Paxton, she has this nasty temper and the smallest fights will make her give me silent treatment which hurts like he.ll, and right now what if she decides to break up, how am I supposed to handle my heart?, What do you fking want me to do! ” Brandon yelled and shot close to ten times but it all hit the bulbs and the glasswares on the dinning table
“I’m so sorry” Reagan said again
“Stop saying sorry Reagan it won’t solve anything, my relationship is at risk here! ” Brandon said, throwing away the gun and leaving the house
“It’s not advisable for him to leave the house without a gvn” Sandra said
” He has close to six guns in his car” Paxton replied
Reagan ran back upstairs and May followed her
“Today turned out bad, how are we gonna beg Don’s little baby right now” Paxton said worriedly
” Boss really loves her more than anything” Sandra said
” You can say that again, I have to follow him” Jones replied and started leaving
” Be careful! ” Sandra said and Jones nodded

Farrell’s house**
“You’ve been crying for more than thirty minutes, now you need to calm down and tell us what happened” Farrell said, releasing Nirvana from the long hug which she employed in pacifying her
Nirvana started hiccuping loudly and Farrell held her small face
“Baby calm down ok?” Farrell said
“Best girl you know we always have something to help you with, talk to us, did something happen between you and your Greek god? ” Jamison asked and Nirvana nodded slowly
” About?, Another girl?” Farrell asked and she nodded again
” You caught them doing something heartbreaking?” Jamison said, Nirvana nodded again
” Sx?” Farrell asked
“No…. I caught them kssing” she replied, still hiccuping
” Fk! ‘ Jamison said
” That’s so bad, kssing who? ” Farrell said
“His supposed friend” Nirvana replied
“Ouch, that must really hurt like crazy” Jamison said
“I don’t have a boyfriend yet but when I finally get one, I can’t imagine what I’ll do to him if I catch him doing that with another girl” Farrell said
” Don’t spoil things Farrell, just let her calm down and listen to him, it might not be his fault” Jamison said..
” How? ” Farrell asked
” What if it was the girl who kssed him” Jamison said
” Then he should have pushed her away before I appeared” Nirvana said, placing her palms on her face
” This is ….hard” Jamison sighed
“So now what are you gonna do?” Farrell asked
” Can I stay here for now?, I don’t want to see him yet, I might just hug him if I see his face or kss his lips that I’m addicted to….I just…I just want to keep being mad at him for now” she replied
” Your wish, but don’t take too long” Jamison said

Evening**
Brandon rang the doorbell at Farrell’s and Farrell opened the door slowly, staying by the door
“She’s sleeping” Farrell said and Brandon smiled sadly
” She’s sleeping or she doesn’t want to see me” he said
” I’m…I’m sorry” Farrell said
” It’s ok, is she ok now?, She’s not crying anymore right?” He asked
” She’s not crying anymore but she refused to eat, she drank only fruit juice” Farrell said and Brandon swallowed hard
” She never jokes with her stomach, she’s starving herself because of me” Brandon said, roughing his hair with his right hand
“She’ll still come around, just give her time,… but is it really true?….you kssed another girl?” Farrell said
” Give her this” Brandon said, avoiding the question and giving her a nylon containing a food warmer
Farrell took it slowly. “It’s her best food, I cooked it myself” he said
” I’ll deliver it” Farrell said and Brandon left for his car
He drove home and stared at his phone for long
He took a pack of cigarettes and made to smoke but threw it away when he remembered she said she doesn’t like it
“I miss her…I just want to catch a glimpse of her right now, I miss her already” he muttered to himself, closing his eyes and resting back on the couch
His phone rang and he quickly picked when he saw it’s Farrell
“Did she eat?” He asked
“She… didn’t” she replied
“She really didn’t?” He said
“Yes doctor, I tried hard to persuade her but it all proved abortive” she replied and Brandon hung up Immediately
He threw away the phone and grabbed the flower vase, he smashed it on the wall and it wounded his hands, his palms bled but he continued
He proceeded to the TV, he hit his snickers on it and it fell, breaking a part of it
He got his gvn and shot at every bulb in the house then the center table, within minutes the house is a total mess and the tears he’s trying to fight back came out of his eyes
One splitting headache followed and he can feel his body heating up, he’s sweating like crazy
It’s like a temple bell is ringing in his head, he held it tight and more tears rolled out of his eyes as he fell unconscious on the couch
The door opened and Jones entered
It’s dark everywhere cos of how he destroyed the bulbs so Jones had to use his phone light to see through
He rushed to him and is beyond shocked to see him unconscious with bIeeding hands
“Boss!, Boss!, Boss!!!”
