5pm, same day**
Everyone of them is sitting in the living room quietly and the only sound that can be heard is Sandra’s sound of crying, she has been crying since the burial and even when it ended, she still couldn’t stop
Berry was buried an hour ago and it’s the most agonizing thing she has ever experienced, she was her only hope, her only companion, that sweet child was all she has but Zelda took her away completely
She cried more and Jones did a good job in consoling her but it didn’t work
Jones himself is crying inside but is trying to act tough openly
Heather is pacing around the room, she came some minutes after the incident and treated Brandon and Paxton’s wound already, she’s crying slowly as she paced
“Berry is gone” she said
“Really gone, my only treasure, she’s gone” Sandra cried
” Stop crying” Jones said beside her, rubbing her shoulder lightly
” I just can’t stop, it’s too painful, she was the best thing that ever happened to me, she made me know the value of motherhood, Jones you know Berry is the only one I have but now she’s gone, how do I cope” Sandra replied, sobbing slowly
” I know how you feel, I understand your feelings, it’s not easy to lose a child that gruesome way, but we need to make moves if not we’ll lose adults too” Brandon said
” Zelda is back… With Grayson” Nirvana said
“Grayson?” Brandon said
“Yeah, I met him today and it’s just obvious that they’re working together, Vikings was written on the jacket he was wearing, the cartel name” Nirvana said
” Sht! ” Brandon said, standing up
” Let’s strategize” he said
“How?, We don’t even know where they are, we don’t know how to go about them, we don’t know nothing! ” Paxton said
” I got something” Nirvana said
” What is it? ” May asked and when Nirvana made to talk, Brandon stopped her, sighting a bug by the wall
“Don’t talk, I think the whole house is bugged, let’s talk on the WhatsApp group” he said and Nirvana brought out her phone and texted him, everyone did the same
*I attached a tracker to Grayson’s jacket unnoticed, it’s connected to my phone and his last destination is Guastralla, house number 8* Nirvana texted
“Get me the laptop Jones* he texted and Jones got it, he took it from Jones and went upstsirs after taking Nirvana’s phone, he went to the only closed room in the house where he connected the phone to the laptop, it became larger and he zoomed in on the house
“Gotcha” he said and went back downstairs
*Next step?* Nirvana texted
*Your surgery, you can’t follow us there without undergoing surgery, your surgery has been scheduled for tomorrow* Brandon texted back
*I… I got a donor?* Nirvana texted
*Yes, you got one* Heather texted
*But I really want to follow you guys* she texted
*If you act stubborn here, I’ll hate it, you need to go for surgery!* Brandon texted
*I know but I can’t let you go alone!, I want to be beside you!, Remember I told you I’ll bring Zelda down with you right?, I want to follow you* Nirvana texted
*Nirvana don’t be stubborn, go for surgery* Paxton texted
*I won’t let you follow us, you need to go for surgery* Reagan texted
Nirvana scattered her hair frustratedly and rushed upstairs
*We need to leave this place tonight, it’s not safe anymore let’s go to a more safer place* Brandon texted
*Where?* May texted
*My house* Heather texted, dropping the address on the group
Brandon’s phone rang immediately
The unknown number rang shortly before he picked
“Son” Zelda’s husky voice boomed, Brandon remained silent
“Mouth gummed huh?, Lump in throat, weak muscles, do you love my gift?, The little girl will be on her way to heaven right now, too bad you wasted her life” Zelda said
Brandon folded his fist, pained that Zelda is still alive to talk like this
“Well more is still coming, now that the cops recognize you, your license is gone already you can’t go to the hospital you love being in so much, you can’t walk freely, you can only stay in one place, hide like the coward you are, afraid to surrender” Zelda said and laughed loudly
” But don’t be surprised, I know your moves, I’m aware of each and every of your moves son, so be ready for more, you and your little toy… I’ll be the one to kill her, I’ll gouge out her eyes and eat her eyes myself! ” Zelda yelled
Brandon hung up and stood
*Let’s move, this house is full of bugs, don’t take a single thing from your things, I believe Zelda is watching us right now* Brandon texted and everyone went silent as they all walked out of the house
*No car us leaving this house, we’re trekking, I think the cars are bugged too* Brandon texted
They obeyed and left the environment by trekking, Brandon used face cap though and he kept his face down throughout
“Everyone split and throw away your phones, they might try to track it, come in the most secretive way to Heather’s house….” Brandon said
May left with Paxton
Jones left with Sandra
Heather left alone
“I’ll come alone I’m fine” Reagan said
“Let’s go” Nirvana said to Brandon
“No, go with Reagan, you can’t be caught with me it’s dangerous” Brandon replied
” No Brandy let’s go together you can’t be alone, Brandy please” Nirvana said
” Nirvana listen, I’ll be ok you just need to go with Reagan, I’ll come alone, I’m wanted right now and you can’t be found with me” he replied and a car full light shone on his face though he quickly covered with his arm but it’s too late
He can see the cops coming after him already
“Brandon” Nirvana said, holding unto him
“Go!, Reagan” he said and Reagan nodded, pulling Nirvana along and running off
Brandon covered his head with his hood together with the cap and started running, over twenty cops are after him as he ran
He got to the middle of a road and saw a bike coming, he knocked down the bike rider and took the bike
He raced fast with the bike while the five cops car chased after him
“Brandon Greg!, It’s advisable to stop! ‘ one of the cops said using a mini megaphone
“You guys are kidding” he said to himself and made the bike jump over a coming car, he landed on the other side and crossed to the other road on an highway, the cops kept chasing and shooting, breaking the bike mirror as a result but he kept avoiding getting shot
He entered a crowdy area where a magician is performing and everyone ran for their lives, he got hooked in a tight area and wounded the side of his face in the process but he reversed the bike and the cops almost shot him but he bent the bike and did a round race before jumping over the rails of a temple, he landed down and continued racing down the temple road
Soon the cops caught up with him again and he breathed heavily
“Sht!”
He sighted a thick forest and rammed the bike into it, riding on stones and avoiding getting hit by trees
He finally got hit by a tree branch and he flew off the bike, landing on a pile of stones, the shot area that has been treated got scratched again and started bIeeding instantly
He stood and got his gvn then started shooting back at the cops while running
The cops never gave up, they released their dogs and the mad dogs ran after him, he had to run as fast as possible, the dogs are crazy!
He got to a river and jumped in without hesitation
He started swimming but shockingly, the cops car can ride in the water, it entered the water with him and chased him too, he increased his swimming strokes and almost died before getting to the other side of the river where the race continued
The cops came out too and he quickly shot at one of their front tyres before running fast into the forest, he figured out that they’re much and will want to split themselves so they’ll get him quick so he hid and decided to use the hidden killer mode
He sprayed himself with a kind of perf that’ll hide his scent so the dogs won’t be able to smell him
One of the cops passed by his front and he grabbed him, snapping his ne¢k immediately
The others got confused about the part where the noice came from
Another one peeped in through his hiding place and he shoved his nails into his eyes before getting the silent pistol which he shot him with, he died too
He succeeded in killing close to ten before coming out with his gvns, sho oting aggressively at any angle though the rest returned it and the dogs came after him again but he brought them down in a matter of seconds
Then gvnshots started sounding at the other side and the remaining cops started going down
A masked girl appeared and even with the mask, he recognizes her, it’s Nirvana
She brought down the remaining guards and rushed to him
“Nirvy what do you think you’re doing, I told you you can’t be caught with me” he said
She took off her mask and held his face dearly
” I’m not caught, I just couldn’t watch you do it alone and that’s why I left Reagan unnoticed, I followed you, sorry I came late” she said, checking out his wounds
” Why are you so stubborn?” He said, looking at her sweaty face
“I’m sorry I just want to do this with you, I love you so much and I won’t be able to bear it if anything happens to you” she replied, staring worriedly, tracing his brows
Brandon looked at her without knowing what to say for some minutes before pulling her to himself in a tight hug
“Let’s get out of here it’s not safe” he said on her shoulder..
