Episode 32
Henry held her by the shoulder and dragged her outside.
What are you doing Henry?” She winced in pain but Henry didn’t stop, He opened the elevator, entered and also drag her in.
Henry, what are you doing?” She asked again but Henry entered his car that has already been opened by his guards when he got out of the elevator with Loveth.
To City H hospital.” He ordered and the driver drove off. Loveth got scared immediately she heard they were going to the hospital.
What are you trying to do? Are you trying to remove my baby?” She asked trying to show confidence while she is already shaking inwardly.
I won’t allow you kill my baby Henry, we must get married as soon as possible.” She said, Henry came out of the car after some minutes of driving cos the City H hospital isn’t far from his company. He entered the underground elevator that leads to the gynaecologist doctor office and closed the door. The elevator stopped and he pushed Loveth into the office.
Run a pregnancy test on her and give me the result in the next 30 mins.” He ordered coldly as he sat on the doctor’s seat.
Oh.. Okay.. CEO Henry. ” the dump founded doctor stammered as he performed the test in front of Henry who is behaving like a walking dead.
The truth is ever since Yvonne got missing, Henry has become a living dead, he no linger smiles or talk too much.
After 20 minutes the doctor came and handed the result over to him.
Don’t, just open and tell me what it is.”
She is not pregnant sir.”
Okay then.” Henry stood up and walked towards Loveth who was biting her lips in fear and embarrassment.
Who could have thought Henry who do such thing? He only lied that he is married cos I haven’t seen his wife before.” She thought in her mind.
Since all the doubts are cleared now Miss Daniel, I would appreciate it if you don’t appear in front of me ever again.” He said and waled out with his guards following after him.
In Country H
Yvonne’s POV
I opened my eyes in a strange room, I tried to sit up but my head was spinning so I slept back. I looked around and realised I was in the hospital.
You are finally awake.” A woman in her late 40s says smiling.
Let me quickly call the doctor for you.” She said and rushed out, she rushed in with the doctor after some minutes.
How re you feeling ma’am?” The doctor asked and I kept looking at him without saying anything.
Are you feeling pains anywhere? ” the doctor asked again professionally, he checked my pulse and temperature but everything seems okay.
Who are you? And where am I?” I finally spoke up after some minutes of silence.
I am Doctor Jude. And this is Madame Gift. She brought you here.” The doctor introduced calmly and I turned to look at the woman again but her face wasn’t family at all.
Thank you for bringing me here ma but how did I get here? And where did you find me?”
I found you beside the church at City H river.” She replied smiling brightly maybe she is trying to make me feel at ease.
What is your name Miss? ” the doctor asked and I looked at him intently.
That’s true. What is my name? Why didn’t I remember anything it anybody?” I said inwardly and replied the doctor. ” do I have a name?”
The doctor was shocked with the word I uttered but he quickly covered his shocked reaction with a smile.
What do you mean missus? Everyone has a name of course, I am Jude, this madame is Gift so you should also have a name.”
But I don’t remember anything.” I blurted out and the woman shouted.” What??
Do you remember you are pregnant?” The doctor asked calmly.
Pregnant?” I opened my mouth in bewilderment and touched my stomach.
You don’t remember that too?” The doctor signed and told the woman to see him in his office.
At the doctor’s office.
Please have your seat Madame. ” he gestured pointing at an empty chair in front of him. The woman sat down and the doctor continued. ” I think she lose her memory Mrs Gift.
What?”
Don’t worry ma’am, we will perform some test on her to know how critical it is. Remember I told you it seems an heavy thing was hit on her head and that might cause a blood blockage.” He explained.
But hope there won’t be problem?” She asked worriedly
what I said is the case, then there is not problem, it would only take some time and I would advice if you can find out where she is staying before so she could go back there because that’s the only thing that can help her regain her memory faster. ”
Okay doctor, I will ask my husband to look into it.” She thanked the doctor and came into my hospital room.
My eyes were closed as I tried to remember something when Madame Gift walked in.
Are you asleep?” She asked in a low tone, I shook up and tried to sit up, when she saw me finding it hard to sit up, she lend me her hand and helped me up.
Can you remember where you are living before I saw you in City H?” She asked and I closed my eyes to remember something, I saw some uncleared images and I held my head as I winced in pain. She touched me and I calmed down unexpectedly.
You just mentioned Country H. Is Country H where you came from?” She asked looking at me intently.
I don’t know.” I said
How old is my baby?” I asked absentmindedly, strangely, I felt some warmth build up in my stomach as I mentioned the baby and I smiled brightly.
It should be three months old now.” She replied and I nodded.
Do you want to rest now?”
No, I have been resting since three months now, I an bored already. ”
Okay then, let me go and prepare some food for you, I will come with NY husband when coming back, i am sure he will be happy if her hears you are awake.” She said, pecked me and stormed out.
Sorry baby, momma is here for you.” I whispered and went back to sleep.
At Country H
In Henry’s House.
Henry’s POV
I waked into my bedroom and stared at the bed.
Your bed is still the way you left it Yvonne. Nobody is using it.” I smiled painfully as I said it.
I walked to our walk in closet and brought out one of her best cloth. This was the cloth she was wearing the day we first met at the hospital.
I inhaled the scent and I felt her presence.
I know you would come back to me Yvonne, come quick so we could complete our love story on time.” I hug the cloth and fell to the bed.
Henry.” Yvonne called as she walked towards Henry.
I know you would come back.” Henry said as he embraced her and carried her up.
I missed you so much hubby.” She said smiling happily and I kssed her.
We missed you. ” I teased after breaking the kss, pointing at my thing. She smiled sheepishly and hit my chest.
Stop being a per vert, our baby won’t like a shameless dad like you.” She said as her face turned red.
She would not….” I opened my eyes in shocked and shouted. ” baby? Baby? Are we expecting a baby?”
I opened my eyes and cleaned the tears that were falling from my eyes. So it was all a dream? Why dies it feel so real?.
