The car is here.” Father Parker said pointing at a white Toyota Camry parking beside the pedestrian. Yvonne stepped into the car, and father Parker followed.
Where are we going from here sir?” Yvonne asked looking around.
I have a house here in Country H.”
Okay.” The car became silent, the car stopped in front of a not too big building after 47 minutes of driving and they all cane down.
Bring all the luggage inside.” Father Parker said to the maid who came to meet them immediately their car stopped.
Let’s go in.” He said and Yvonne followed suit. When they got inside, Father Parker showed her where she will be staying at the left side and she walked into her room.
Good morning Father Parker.” Yvonne said as she stretched yawning.
How was your night Yvonne? ” he asked.
It was great and yours. ”
Fine, I need to discuss something with you before breakfast.”
Okay, can we talk about it now?”
Of course, let settle down first.” He pointed at two chairs and they sat comfortably before he continued.” What do you want to do?”
Acting.” Yvonne blurted out without thinking.
Wait.. Did I just said that? How come I didn’t think about it?”
Acting?” The man asked in surprise.
I think I was a celebrity before I landed at country A.” She said calmly. Father Parker picked up his phone and typed ” Actress Yvonne.”
Woooow. Is this you Yvonne? ” he blurted out in shocked and surprised. Yvonne took the phone from him and was also surprised with what she saw.
Is this me?” She asked stating at the image intently.
I am really an actress?.”
Wait, let me make some calls.” Father Parker said, brought out his phone and dialed a number.
Hello director Ma.” He said to the person on the line.
Hello Mr Parker. Are you back to country H?”
Of course, what did I miss?”
You really came at the right time, Mr Henry wants to work on the story he wrote himself and he wants a new actress to take the female lead.”
New actress? Why a new actress? ”
I don’t know, I have been trying to get you so you could recommend something for me. I know whoever you chose is the right candidate for the Job. ”
Okay then, but sadly, I don’t have a new actress but the one I have has only featured in a movie.”
Hmmm.. That shouldn’t be bad too, at least she hasn’t gotten many fan base. What’s her name? ”
Yvonne.” Father Parker said and Director MA almost blocked Father Parker’s ear with his noise.
What? Y.. Yvonne? ” He shouted.
Yes, why are you so surprise?”
Father Parker, are you sure who you are seeing is Yvonne? A lot of producers and directors has been looking for her ever since her first movie but she just disappeared suddenly.” Director Ma explained as fast as he could.
Really? I know she isn’t am ordinary actress when I saw her.”
I am so happy right now Father Parker, Don’t let any body see her now, we are going to start the shooting in a week.”
Director Ma, how many weeks will the shooting takes?”
Just 14 days. It isn’t a long story.” He said and Father Parker heave a sign of relief because he knew Yvonne might not be able to shoot for so long cause of her pregnancy.
Okay then, I will bring her to the set tomorrow. ”
Okay, let me quickly call Mr Henry to tell him who I will be using.”
Bye for now.” Father Parker said and hung up, He walked towards Yvonne who was sitting quietly.
Will you make a comeback with this movie?” He asked and Yvonne nodded.
Okay then, go and get ready, we are going to the hospital for your check up.” He said, patted her on the shoulder and walked to his room.
Yvonne placed her hand on her stomach and smiled brightly.
Baby, we’ve taken another step to see your father. Don’t worry, I won’t let you be born without a father.” She stood up beaming brightly and walked to her room.
Henry’s Office.
Henry, you can’t keep doing this to yourself. You can die of insomnia if you continue this way.” Sam said unhappily.
Die? I don’t know what I have been doing hale and hearty all thus months. How can I leave without Yvonne Sam. ” Henry jerked Sam’s hand off his shoulder and stood up, he was walking out when Sam’s held his hand.
But Yvonne is dead and we have to accept the truth.” He said and a punch landed on his face, he fell to the floor, held his face and looked at the angry Henry.
Say that again, and I will kill you.” Henry threatened.
Kill me?” Sam laughed mockingly.
That’s the truth you have to accept bro, she can’t come back for you, me or anyone.” He said breathing heavily due to the punch Henry gave him.
My Yvonne is not dead, I can feel it.” He said angrily, his body was shaking tremendously and he walked out banging the door behind him.
Speak.” He ordered as he picked his phone that was ringing.
Mr Henry, I have found the most suitable candidate for the movie.”
Good then, it your Job. Just make sure to do a good Job for me.” He said coldly, as he entered the car a guard opened for him.
I am sure you will be happy if you heard the actress name.” He said happily.
I don’t have time to hear all that, just make sure you don’t make any mistake.” He said and almost hung up but Director Ma words stopped him.
I know Mr Henry will be happy when he found out actress Yvonne is the female lead.” The director said absentmindedly and hung up.
