Henry’s POV
I wasn’t in the mood to talk with anybody so I decided to hung up but Director Ma thought I had hung up and he said something I have been waiting for, something I have be yearning to hear for the last 3 months. Yvonne is alive, Yvonne is alive.” I said, and dialed Director Ma’s number hastily.
Hello Director Ma.” I said as I was praying in my heart for it to be my Yvonne.
Yes.. Mr Henry, hope no problem, I just…” He tries to talk but I cut him off with a question.” Who is the female actress?”
The female actress is Yvonne.” He said with happiness in his voice.
Y…Yvonne? ” I dropped my phone as I refused to believe my Yvonne is back, my Yvonne is back to me.
Mr Henry? Mr Henry?” Director Ma called and when he didn’t even get a reply he hung off.
Take me to Director Ma’s office.” I ordered and the driver nodded and pressed on the accelerator.
After beating the journey of an hour in 30 minutes, my car stopped in a not too big building and I stepped out.
I walked to the receptionist and asked of Director Ma.”
He is in his office.” She said professionally but also trying to seduce me.
Tell him CEO Henry is here to see him.” I said dipping my hand in my pocket.
The secretary opened her mouth in bewildered as she looked at me in shocked.
C..C..E..O Henry??” She stammered and quickly called Director Ma.
Director Ma rushed out of his office breathing heavily like he just ran a 300 meters race.
CEO Henry? You didn’t tell me you were coming.” Director Ma said as he bowed respectfully.
Just decided to come make some more enquiries. ”
Okay, pls let go to my office.” He opened the door to his office, I walked in and sat on his seat like I am the owner of the office.
Don’t calm it proud but that is who i am.”
Where is Yvonne?” I asked eagerly.
It was Father Parker who recommended her.”
Father Parker? You mean the great director?”
Y…yes..” He stammered.
Where is he now?”
He is staying at one of his properties in country H.”
Okay, thanks.” I said, stood up and walked out.
Hello Sam. ” I called happily and the guy snorted on the phone without saying anything.
Guess what?” I said happily.
You finally decided to come out of your madness.” He said coldly.
Yvonne is back.” I blurted out and he shouted.” What? Yvonne is back? Where are you now? No, I am inside my car now, let go together.”
I can hear the sound of a car as he speaks and I smiled as I tell him where I was at the moment.
Father Parker’s House.
The doctor said your baby is fine.” Father Parker said as he helped her out of the car.
Thanks sir, I really appreciate your help. My daughter and I will be forever indebted to you.” She said as tears welled up in her eyes.
Don’t worry Yvonne, you are like a daughter to me and I won’t do less than this for my daughter too.” He said as he embraced her as the tears finally break loose.
Yvonne.” A voice called from the back, Father Parker and Yvonne looked at the direction of the voice. Sam and Henry was standing looking at the duo that was behaving like a father and daughter surprisingly.
Henry quickly walked up to Yvonne and hugged her, tears fell from his eyes and he sobbed silently.
I thought I had lose you, I thought I would never see you again.” He said amidst tears and tears fell from Yvonne eyes too.
Why am I crying? Why does it feel so real with this Mister? ” Yvonne thought as she secretly wiped her tears.
Mister, Mister.” She called in a low voice and broke the hug, she stepped back and looked at him surprisingly.
Yvonne, I know you are angry but I….” Henry tries to explain but Yvonne asked.” Do you know me sir?”
Henry was shocked to see his wife asking him that but she was pretending, he walked up to her and held her hand.
I am sorry wife, I miss you, pls come back home.” He kissed her hand softly.
Wife? Home?” She asked as she tried to remember what she was missing, she felt a pain in her head as she held her spinning head.
Ahhhhhhh.” She shouted and lose consciousness, Henry held her before she could fall to the floor.
Yvonne? Yvonne? Pls wake up.” He tries to wake her up as he shakes in fear. Father Parker who was still in shock quickly rushed to him.
CEO Henry pls take her in.” Henry quickly picked her up and carried her in a bridal style to her room.
She is having fever Mr Parker.” Henry said in fears, Father Parker rushed out of her room and came back with a bowl of water and white towel, he dipped the towel into the water, squeeze it and placed the wet towel on her head.
Poor girl.” He said as he heaved a sign of relief.
Can we go out and talk Mr Henry?” Father Parker asked.
No, I want to stay with her.” He held her hand and looked at her lovingly.
Henry, you have to go with him, don’t worry, I will stay with her.” Sam assured, Henry stood up hesitantly, kssed her on the forehead and followed Father Parker out.
Why did Yvonne faint?” He asked coldly.
She has amnesia and she can’t remember anything. ” Father Parker broke the news to him.
What? ..”
Calm down Mr Henry. It is just temporary, that was why I brought her back to Country H so she could regain her memories fast before she gave birth.” Mr Parker explained and Henry opened his eyes in bewilderment.
Pregnant? Yvonne is pregnant? I am going to be a father?” He said as tears welled up in his eyes, he smiled brightly and tears of joy rolled out.
I am going to become a father? Hahahahahahha.” He laugher happily.
All Father Parker could see was love. So the cold Henry can actually smile. But who would have thought Yvonne is Mrs White.
