Long life hospitals…
Her pretty eyes flew open and the first person it caught was Dylan whose fingers rubbed the back of her palm softly.. he flashed a broad smile
“My angel.. you’re awake”
“Dad.. ” she called weakly
“Am I still alive”
Dylan nodded
“Yes Andrea..you’re still very much alive” he smiled touching her forehead
“I thought I was losing you”
“Com’on dad…a man shouldn’t be scared” she pouted her pale lips
Dylan almost laughed
“Am I a man..?
She looked at him surprisingly
“Of course..” She hit his arm playfully and he laughed
She suddenly remembered she hasn’t been on good terms with him since the day he scolded her harshly
She sighed and his smile disappeared knowing fully well..it’s about him
He took her left palm in his, rubbing it slowly and fondly
“Andrea… I’m sorry, I’m really sorry, I promise I won’t yell at you again” he pleaded
“I’m really sorry okay… okay.. she can start eating with us if you want” he added and her face lightened up as she beamed in smiles
“Really..?
He nodded
“Its fine dad… I forgave you already, my nanny asked me to..”
“She really did..?” Dylan furrowed his brows
“Yes”
Dylan sighed.. Claribel is really different
“She’s a life saver.. She was the one who noticed when you were unconscious that morning… I even threatened her harshly but she still cared for you and she also donated her blood for you since ours didn’t match.. I can see why you really love her” Dylan found himself saying
Andrea smiled broadly.. it’s unusual for her dad to speak well of someone this way.. she was greatly pleased
“Thank you” her said in her head
The door opened immediately and they both diverted their gaze to the door as Claribel entered weakly with lady Ann, her arm from which the blood was taken from was still plastered
“Nanny…!” Andrea smiled broadly and Claribel rushed to hug her warmly
Dylan smiled shortly
“I thought I was gonna lose you” Claribel sniffed
“I won’t leave you..never” Andrea assured and Claribel smiled again.. lady Ann also smiled at their closeness
“Thanks for everything nanny.. you saved my life just like a mother would do to her child” Andrea said slowly.. Dylan breathed
“It’s nothing okay..?”
“Please I want you to permit me to do something” Andrea suddenly said
“Anything…” Claribel stroked her hair
“Can I call you mum from today onwards..?”
Dylan’s eyes widened
“What…!!”

Dylan’s eyes widened on it’s own
“What…!!” he yelled in his head
Claribel swallowed nothing and diverted her gaze to Dylan who looked away immediately..there was a awkward silence in the ward as everyone looked on expectantly for her reply
She sighed, oblivious of what to do or say
“Andrea.. you need to rest okay..?” she tried changing the topic but the little girl shook her head sideways
“Answer my question first” she said with puppy eyes as she made cute faces
Claribel looked swiftly at lady Ann who gave a “go ahead” look… she nodded slowly scratching the back of her neck
“Anything that pleases you is fine by me” she said picking her words slowly and flashed a smile
Andrea did the same.. smiling broader as she gestured her to come closer which she did before hugging her tightly
“I love you mum” she said
“More..angel”
“I’ll go get your favorite dish” Claribel said few seconds after breaking the hug
“No..I’ll do that, stay with her okay” Ann insisted and Claribel muttered an “ohh”
“Meet me outside” Dylan said simply..standing up and proceeded to leaving
Ann and Claribel looked at each other
“Me or you..?” they asked in unison
Ann sighed
“You..obviously, go ahead” she said sitting on the bed with Andrea
“Should I add carrots to it..”
Claribel left the ward slowly as different thoughts ran across her head..she left the ward and tried catching up with him till they got to a quiet corner
“Thanks for everything but I don’t support my daughter calling you mum!…It’s annoying” Dylan said
Claribel rubbed her eyes
“Why didn’t you stop and scold her like you’d always do” she said bluntly
He scoffed
“That was because I don’t wanna see her angry with me.. it hurts to bear the silent treatment she’s gonna pay me” he said looking pissed…
“Well, you have to manage with the current situation on ground” Claribel said more calmly this time
Dylan shot a glare
“What did I do”
“Thanks for yelling and threatening me when she was sick” she rolled her eyes and bowed before walking away
Dylan felt guilty as his eyes caught the plaster on her hand… he heaved a deep sigh

Royal Hotels…
“Where are you coming from this late” Tristan asked as Ashley as she came in..she was cladded in a blue armless and black heels..she smiled broadly, thinking what to say to make him believe
“Baby…”she squealed, rushing to him and massaged his back romantically
“Well, I went to see the doctor concerning my pregnancy, he told me to come for a proper check up” she lied ksssing his neck and nose tip from the back
Tristan rubbed the back of her hands smiling
“Sorry dear..you must have been stressed a whole lot” he said believing immediately
Ashley smiled secretly
“Dummy” her mind laughed
“Go take a cold shower” he said pushing her to the bathroom and she giggled
“Okay…” she chuckled and secretly slipped her phone into her bra.. pretending to pick her shower cap from her little hand bag
Getting to the bathroom… she stripped and turned on the faucet and the water kept pouring
She switched to video call and almost immediately a man appeared on her phone screen licking his lips as seeing her nk£d body turned him on
“Hope he didn’t complain” he asked and she scoffed
“Trust me to always cover up” she whispered.. Tristan from the room could only hear the running water but not her conversation
He laid on the bed and picked up his phone too, clicking on an app
