Chapter 6
Dylan’s Mansion..
Dylan walked in angrily and everyone flinched as he took each step into the house.. Claribel and Andrea were actually watching an animation movie and Andrea was so engrossed in watching it that she didn’t notice her dad coming in
Claribel was worried seeing him like that.. she forgot about what happened in the office and stood up proceeding to go after him
“I need to pick something upstairs okay…?” She said to Andrea who nodded slowly in reply.. without diverting her gaze from the TV
“Can I come in..” Claribel knocked gently on Dylan’s door and she heard no reply
“What’s going on..” she mumbled and twisted the door knob.. opening it slowly and peeped inside
He was sitted on the bed backing her… Shirtless
She swallowed nothing and entered the room fully
“Dylan..”
“Boss..?” She corrected herself immediately but he gave no reply
He was fuming in great anger wishing he could lay his hands on Brinkley and $trangle her to d.eath
“Dylan..”
“Dylan..!!” He stood up suddenly and walked to her pushing her to the wall roughly as he kept imagining her as his betrothed.. Brinkley
He always mistake people for whoever he’s thinking of.. right from childhood… He had been like that
Claribel gasped as her back hit the wall roughly
“Is he ksssing me again..?” She thought but got the shock of her life when he grabbed her neck strangling her in anger
“Stay away from me!!!.. I hat£ you!!!” He yelled choking her more as he pressed her neck more tightly
“Please..” she cried but instead he tightened his grip on her neck
Claribel struggled to breathe, she was choking… Her eyes were red already and her tears dropped as she became weak and limb in his hands
He kept on strangling her as all he saw her was… Was ‘Brinkley’
“Dylan…” she cried faintly as she passed out instantly……

Dylan’s Mansion..
“Dylan..” Claribel called weakly as her tears dropped… his senses came back immediately and it dawned on him that he had been $trangling her..
Dylan gasped in realization as Brinkley’s image disappeared from his head.. he widened his eyes in shock as he watched her limb body fall freely… he caught her quickly before she fell to the ground
“Claribel..!!” he called oblivious of what to do next… shout for help or just let her stay in his room
“What have I done..?!” he said
Claribel coughed weakly as water kept falling freely from her red eyes.. she’s still conscious
“Dylan…” she cried… coughing again as he moved her to his bed
“I’m sorry.. I mistook you for someone else.. I’ve always been like that from childhood, and you fvcking came in at the wrong time!.. you shouldn’t have come after me knowing I was so angry” he raised his voice a bit
He sighed and ruffled his hair frustratingly
“I’m sorry” he suddenly pleaded guiltily in a calming tune and she breathed slowly turning to the other side of the bed giving him no reply
“I hat£ you… stay away from me!” his words rang in her head and she closed her eyes slowly.. feeling so weak
“Claribel..!!”

Royal Hotels…
“Hey babe” Ashley pecked his cheeks slightly and he flashed her a broad smile
“How was your day” she breathed falling heavily on the bed
“Fine and yours..?” He asked without looking up
“Cool but really stressful… the director said we have another photo shoot appointment with Gallery studios tomorrow” she said sitting up
.. she sighed, removing her boots
“Well, dad called..” Tristan said and immediately she scrunched up her brows anticipating to hear more
“Really..?”
“Yeah.. about an hour ago”
She stylishly picked her phone and pressed the record button
“What did he say” she replied as the phone began recording
“He’s asking us to come over for weekend.. Dylan claims to have a fiancee whom dad insists on her visitation” he said
Ashley scoffed
“I thought Chairman James said he must get married to his betrothed or no one else” She said
“The je.rk is proving stubborn.. let’s go this weekend and see how things go” Tristan said.. Ashley looked at him..feeling somehow uncomfortable
“Chairman James must not approve his relationship cuz if he does there’s gonna be a very slim chance of you being the heir to his properties” Ashley said
“I know right..?”
She breathed
“We need to act fast.. before things becomes the opposite of himself” she snapped
“We definitely need another plan..” Tristan suddenly said and she nodded immediately
“Let’s get started”

WAREHOUSE..
“Are you sure of what you’re saying” she whispered as she made a phone call to someone
Her burnt face and arms made her look so horrible that she almost got scared of her self when she peeped at the mirror
“I’m really sure.. I can’t lie to you okay” the caller responded through the phone
“His daughter is still alive right” she asked to confirm
“Sure.. you need to return to New York soon” the caller said sounding scared
“I’m trapped in this country but trust me.. I’ll return soon, the secret must be revealed” she said
“I’m really scared.. you made a dangerous decision and you’re putting your life on a huge risk.. you are the only one I have left please” the caller cried and she smiled shortly
“I promise.. I’ll be fine” she consoled and could hear her sniff through the phone
“Keep an eye on her.. and as for the new nanny.. she’s gonna be in danger soon, I’ll try my best to protect.. Dylan has alot of people after him” she added
“I’ll try” the caller replied
“Most importantly, try your best not to create suspicions” she said noticing a presence behind her but before she could turn to see who it was…
An inje¢tion was shoved through her neck.. the masked man tried shoving the injection deep into her neck and release it content into her but she was swift
She kcked his middle member so hard that he screamed loudly and staggered
She smirked and turned immediately removing the injection from her neck and ran to him shoving it into his eyes roughly even through the mask
“Arrrrgh!!” The man screamed loudly in pains as his bI.ood stained the ground
“You still haven’t learnt your lesson.. I’m more smarter than you think” she said..smirking and looked so scary as her burnt face were glaring
“My regards to my grandma in heaven” she said and instantly.. She grabbed his head, htting it hard on the wall that it cracked and his bI.ood spilled.
