Dylan’s Mansion…
“Wait… Proposal what….!!!!!” their eyes widened.. Deanna sighed in frustration
“Listen you both, you’ll do as I say okay?!”
Dylan exhaled, letting out a grunt
“Fine”
“So put this on..” Deanna said handing the rings over to them which they slowly took. Claribel watched Dylan slipped his into his white fingers and she blinked
“Aren’t you gonna put it on for me” she wanted to ask but knew she dared not
She slipped hers into her fingers too and scoffed.. it was pretty
“Imma throw them into the water closet after the dinner weekend..” Dylan rolled his eyes..Claribel looked away
“Whatever”
Lady Ann smiled from the kitchen as she kept spying on them
“These two!” She almost laughed but quickly restrained
“Okay.. so Claribel you could remove the dress now” Deanna said and Claribel mouthed an ‘oh’
She left for her room and returned a few minutes later…cladded in her previous wear.. Deanna stared, secretly admiring her
“Why does her eyes keep remembering me of Andrea’s mum” she wondered but snapped out of her thoughts immediately
“Okay.. I edited some pictures of you both together, incase it becomes necessary” She suddenly said pointing at a brown envelope popping its head out of her handbag
“Oh, that’s so wise of you” Dylan said and flashed a generous smile
She breathed heavily
“And now.. what next?!” She grinned suspiciously and it was obvious she was up to something
“What. ?” Claribel and Dylan asked in unison
“It’s time to practice your ro.mant!c scenes” she winked
“Ro.mant!c….??!!!”

“Arrrrrgh..” Cathy winced in pains as she moved the arm painfully
“Its becoming worse” she sighed taking a look at the wound
She stared at her burnt face in the mirror and sighed
“I lost my pretty face” she muttered and smiled shortly
She walked over to a chest of drawers and opened the first one.. a flash drive and picture came into view and her hands picked up the picture of a familiar lady
Cathy smiled and ksssed the lady in the picture
“Even if I finally die doing this.., I won’t regret fighting for you” she said and a tear slipped down from the corner of her eyes
She sniffed…

“There’s no point monitoring her movement all day… we could always plant a tracker on her” one of the ladies said.. some nodded in agreement

“I thought of it too.. but she’s not an easy catch so it will be difficult” Roxanne said puffing out smoke from her nostrils
“But all the same, she can’t be smarter” another of her guys said
“I need to think cuz she’s definitely gonna reveal the world if we don’t act fast..” Roxanne said fearlessly and with determination
“They should be preparing for the dinner weekend by now.. let them have fun, limited time needs to be spent wisely.. most times” she added and a dangerous smile displayed on her lips

Millstone Hospitals..
“Jessie..” Paisley called weakly as she opened her eyes in an unfamiliar green room, It smells of injection and that’s something she dislikes
“Mum..?” Jessica rushed to her bed as her threatening tears slipped from her eyes… She woke up few hours ago and insisted she stays with her mum till she wakes
Harold left with his grandmother to prepare for the day and of course.. for their food, promising to come back before noon
“Mum..” Jessie called again, tasting her tears in the process as ir fell freely, Paisley moved her hand weakly to her left cheek and touched her face fondly
“He raped me…!! My dad raped me!!… Brvtally” she bursted into another round of tears wetting the hospital gown her mother wore
Paisley sniffed as she also began crying
“I’m sorry I couldn’t save you..” she said sadly, Jessica cried more bitterly as the traumatic scene kept replaying in her head
“Where’s he.. now?” Paisley asked slowly
“In the mortuary.. I think”
“What..!,”
“he was h!t hardly on the head when I got saved” she said and Paisley tears grew more louder
“He’s a dvil..!! Rapping me at thirteen..!! Mum, I lost my pride and dignity!” She cried so loudly
“Jessie..” her mom shortened her name as usual but she gave no reply.. it wasn’t necessary
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry for getting married to your father.. it was my greatest mistake also” she cried and pulled her into a warm embrace, patting her back slowly as Jessica’s tears wet her clothes
The door flung open revealing the doctor and he smiled shortly
“You’re awake..?” Jessie raised her head up immediately.. her eyes were dmn red
“Yes..”
“You don’t have to stress yourself, you need to rest..” he said and she sniffed, nodding slowly
“I’m sorry.. we discovered that you lost a foetus.. a growing baby of about two months” he said and Jessica’s eyes widened with a gasp
Her gaze landed on her mother
“Mum..! You were pregnant???!!”
