Deanna’s Home
“I don’t want this” Princeton, Deanna’s son who was of Andrea’s age said for the umpteenth time as the maids continued bringing different snacks for her but he continued rejecting it
Andrea scoffed.. she’d been quiet all this while watching her in awe as she kept rejecting the snacks
“Are you going to continue rejecting them until they serve you a goat’s intestine..?, Cuz you’ve rejected almost everything” she snapped and the little boy looked at her surprisingly
The maids almost burst out into laughter but they restrained
“Mind your business.. I’m in my house and not yours..?” He rolled his brown eyes and Andrea scoffed
“Point of correction.. your dad owns the house cuz you can’t even afford a toy car” she said and Deanna watched in interest from the stairs
“Wait.. why did mum bring you here in the first place!” The boy raised his voice and she smiled shortly
“To drop some sensible words into the empty shell you call brain” she said bodly
“Empty what..!!”
“Empty shell..” She said again and he stood up and grabbed the pillow on the couch.. She grabbed one too
“When you get to heaven, greet my forefathers for me” Andrea said holding the pillow tightly with her little hands
“I’ll make sure I disfigure your face before you leave…” The boy said
“If that’s how my dad beats my mum.. I would have broken your head in fury long ago” She yelled back and she scoffed
“Your mum doesn’t live with you.. does she!” He replied
“Of course she does and dad even traveled with her for their honeymoon” she said and Deanna eyes widened from where she was
“Honeymoon..?!” She said out before she could realise.
“Your dad and Nanny went to a birthday party.. what do you know about honeymoon..!” She added descending the stairs fast
“I overheard my teacher say it to someone on phone that she was going on her honeymoon this weekend and I thought, if mum and dad goes out… They’re definitely going on a honeymoon”
Deanna laughed out loudly..
“You mean to say they went to act dramas..!!”

Korea..
“I almost got caught.. the last time you called” Ann said slowly
“That’s why you should always stay smart and alert.. I’m not safe here either” Cathy said
“I really don’t wanna lose you.. sis” Ann muttered slowly
“You’ve planted the bug on her..?” Cathy asked through the phone as she touched her burnt face.. she could sense that lady Ann nodded from where she was
“Yes..I planted it in the locket in her necklace when she was asleep.. and she seldom removes it” Lady Ann’s voice could be heard as she replied
“Okay.. keep a eye on her and ensure she’s safe” she said
“Sure I will.. eaten?” Lady Ann asked
“Yeah.. about an hour ago” she paused looking around suspiciously but found nothing suspicious..
“Roxanne is returning to New York next week Wednesday.. in five days time.. things will go tough and rough.. like six years ago” she continued and Lady Ann breathed heavily
“You should return too”
“Sure I will..”
“The nanny isn’t safe anymore, especially now that Roxanne’s spy has discovered she’s the only lady around him apart from Deanna” she added
“I know.. its a dangerous and bI.oody affair” Lady Ann replied
“Max will be released very soon.. so we both can work together with your aid” Cathy said
“Claribel must not die the same way Marianna did.. never!” Lady Ann said breathlessly
“I hope she doesn’t.. Roxanne is dangerous as anything.. and Dylan’s betrothed will also attack.. surely” Cathy replied wincing silently in pains as the arm hurt her again
“Don’t tell me the arm still hurts..” Lady Ann said in worry as she heard her wince in pains
“It does..the pain worsened and the arm is getting rotten gradually” she said with silent groan
“It hurt to have healed..!!, and to worsen it all, you’re not treating it.. are you..?” Lady Ann raised her voice a bit
“Of course not.. my movements are being monitored and you know it” she said
Lady Ann sighed
“Dylan…” She muttered painfully

Chairman James’s mansion..
Night..
“You will staying in the same room with your fiancee” Chairman James said simply and Dylan nodded
“Sure” he said and James stared at him in a way he couldn’t explain, before finally looking away..
The ladies changed into a simple wear already..
“You both are engaged..? Mrs Wilson asked before she could stop herself..staring at the rings in their fingers
“Yeah.. for some time now” Dylan said taking in Claribel’s palm in his.. she smiled shortly..nervously
“Really..! How can she be pregnant for you when you have a betrothed!!” She snapped and everyone’s gaze except the Wilsons who bit their lip.. landed on her
Dylan furrowed his brows
“I never mentioned anyone carrying a baby for me” he said and Brinkley wanted to reply.. covering up for her mum but it was like the heavens were not on their side
“How dare you insult me!!.. who the hell do you think you are?!” Mrs Wilson yelled.. obviously must have heard wrongly again
Dylan to Mavis and whispered
“Are you sure your mum is okay”
“So she has a critical hearing problem” Sophia whispered mockingly to chairman James
“Madnesss will never stop” Ashley muttered and Tristan only scoffed
Brinkley folded her fists slowly.. chief Wilson only breathed
“It’s time to sleep… Tomorrow is the real deal” Chairman James suddenly after a long silence and everyone began retiring into their rooms..
“Honey..” Dylan faked a smile and Claribel smiled back.. her heart beating faster than usual
“Let’s go to bed” he said and she nodded.. proceeding to stand up
Chairman James stopped on his tracks
“She’s not part of this family.. so she’s definitely not sleeping in any room here” He said and Claribel gulped down nothing
“But dad..!, you said initially that I’m gonna share the same room with my fiancee” Dylan stuttered.. Brinkley smiled
“I knew you heard me wrong when you didn’t argue… Brinkley is your approved fiancee.. and you both are spending the night together..” Chairman James said
Sophia eyes widened.. Claribel gasped
“And as for her..” he paused, pointing at Claribel who was already shivering on her spot as his gaze landed on her
“I’ll be nice to allow her spend the night with the maids.. at the quarters” he said blankly
Claribel’s eyes widened in shock
“Wait… What?!”
