Chapter 42

The Next Day

Dylan’s mansion..

Claribel yawned sleepily as she laid motionlessly on the bed booting slowly like on old computer as the cool morning breeze nuzzled her

When she finally open her eyes.. she was hit by the blinding sunlight streaking out of her pink curtains

“Ohh… Its morning already” she groaned lazily as she bit her lower lip

She rolled to the other side of the bed reminiscing about yesterday’s events

“Why do I strangely feel connected to Andrea… It’s beginning to feel like a mother to her” she thought , heaving a deep sigh as she remembered how she embraced her warmly in tears yesterday

Her fore finger found it’s way to her pink dry lips

“He kssed me four times already”.she thought a deep sigh

“I guess I overreacted” she mumbled and slowly got down from the bed, heading to the bathroom to clean up

She came out wet exactly thirty two minutes after with a towel tied to her chest

She began dressing up immediately after rubbing lotion on her skin

.She wore a tank top with thin straps and a leggings that hugged her curves tightly.. She combed her long hair, allowing it to fall freely on her shoulders before finally leaving the room

Dylan also came out of his room, coincidentally at that same time and their eyes locked as she slowly closed the door behind her

They stared at each other for a while before Dylan finally broke the awkward silence

“Good morning..” he said simply remembering her yesterday’s words.. not to cross his boundaries

He proceeded towards the stairs and was about to descend when Claribel found herself rushing to him

She pulled him back by his arm and he turned to her in surprise

Their eyes met and she looked away shyly

“I apologise for the way I reacted yesterday.. please pardon me” Claribel said slowly and Dylan’s eyes widened in surprise

Is he really imagining things now?!

Like She’s apologising??

His felt his heart race and he scoffed silently

“Like seriously…?”

Dylan’s Mansion…

“Like seriously…?” Dylan scoffed still surprised

Claribel rolled her eyes as usual

“Me apologising shouldn’t make you think I’m still gonna continue your plans with you..” she paused, trying to study his expression

“I’m only doing so cuz I was taught to apologize when I’m wrong… Nothing else okay” she said and flaunted her hair leaving him stare at her in awe

Dylan blinked repeatedly

“She apologized just now but her ego will never leave her” he thought

He heaved a deep sigh, feeling a bit relieved

“Sometimes.. she still has her cool side” he mumbled with a smug smile, descending the stairs also

Getting to the sitting room, she walked past him, returning back upstairs.. to prepare Andrea for school

“Why did you come down then..” he mumbled lowly and scoffed

“Hurry please, I have a lot of works to do in the office” he said as she walked

She gave no reply

Wilson Mansion..

Brinkley rolled to other side of the bed for the umpteenth time, not sure of how she was even feeling

The bed sheets and duvet were on the floor already, due to how she kept rolling and rolling.. kicking everything off

She adjusted her head on the pillow with a groan

“I only made things worse.. he hates me now, even than before” she thought with a loud sigh

She located her phone on the bed and grabbed it immediately, dialing a particular number

The number was saved as “Savage Riri”

After few dials, the call was answered and her face lightened up immediately

“Rihanna..” she called wearily and the caller responded immediately..

“Brinkley… What’s wrong?, you sound sad”

“How about the plan.. how did it go?” she asked again.. with curiosity obvious in her voice

“Well..” Brinkley paused for a moment, slowly picking her words afterwards

“Everything went as planned.. ” she said and she could hear Rihanna scream excitingly.. it was so loud that she had to remove the phone from her ear

“Rihanna..!!”

“That’s my girl.. I told you baby..” Rihanna said and Brinkley could swear that she gave her a thumbs up

“Although he almost k¡lled me for it”

“That jerk!..” Rihanna laughed loudly

“I’m scared Rihanna..” Brinkley winced and

she stopped laughing immediately

“Why..?”

“Mavis knows about the pregnancy already.. he claimed to have seen the test result” She said

Rihanna scoffed loud enough

“And how’s that your fuck¡ng business!” Rihanna retorted

“He knows he’s the father of the baby and besides he promised to take responsibility of the pregnancy.. he’s behaving weird honestly” Brinkley complained

“How does that make you scared.. huh” Rihanna replied sharply

“Riri.. he knows I slept with Dylan to claim the baby as his.. he confronted me last night and now I’m scared he’s gonna be an obstacle” Brinkley said fearfully

Rihanna laughed shortly and she furrowed her brows

“What..”

“Listen to yourself.. how does it sound that you have a child for your brother.. huh!, what do you want people to say?, do you even realize that it’s gonna bring a shame to your family’s name and reputation if anyone knows about it…”

“But..” Brinkley tried interrupting

“Girl.. don’t be stup¡d the child belongs to Dylan now! Mavis can say or do whatever he likes.. just try to convince him okay..”

Brinkley only nodded, feeling relieved a bit

“Hope you have an evidence of the intercourse” She suddenly asked and Brinkley nodded

“Sure.. I planted a camera in the room and went back for it after he left the mansion” she said

“And to think, the injection made it look like he did it willingly and you didn’t force him” Rihanna said

A smile escaped her lips

“Thank you best” she muttered

“Just make sure you erase the initial and unwanted scenes in the video record…because when you will be needing it, there must be no evidence of how he was injected” Riri said she nodded

“Trust me on that, I saved it on my laptop and flash drive already, I’ll forward it to you later”

“Better..”
