Chapter 59

Wilson’s Mansion..

“I’m talking to you Mavis, drive me to the mall, I need to get some things” Cindy snapped frustratingly, Mavis ignored her again and continued painting the drawing on the large drawing board

“Mav….” Cindy was saying

“There are many drivers in this mansion, do I look like one? and besides, stop ordering me around like I’m your servant or something, you can’t even use a simple magic word ‘please’..” he snapped, raising his voice

Cindy heaved a deep breath and hugged him from the back, stopping him from painting.. he sighed

“Kid brother, please”

“I don’t know any of the drivers here and besides I don’t trust them” she pouted childishly and he scoffed

“Just say you need a company, liar” he said and they both laughed

“Fine! You got me” she said amidst laughter and he dropped the painting brush

“I need to change okay.. the eldest daughter of the Wilson’s is coming to town” she said proudly, shaking her flat butt and Mavis laughed at her drama

“Cindy please” he said standing up

“I’m your elder sister, call my name with some respect” she snapped dramatically and Mavis laughed again

“Single Cindy” he said and she glared at him biting her lower lip hard

“Hey! Wait till we’re back, I’ll kll you” she folded her fists playfully

“As if you can” he rolled his eyes

“Well, we’re both single” she shrugged and he smirked

“I’m not baby sis.. I even k¡ssed a girl today” he said with a wink, thinking of Brinkley

Her eyes widened

“Heyy!!!!”

“What..?” He furrowed his brows

“I’m a Christian, don’t corrupt me with your words” she said and this time

Mavis fell on the bed, laughing without stop

“V¡rgin Mary” he laughed again rolling to the other side of the bed

“Hey.. Mavis!!!”

Alive Hospitals..

Teresa, Claribel and Harold rushed into the hospital..

Claribel entered the doctor’s office immediately, although, she doesn’t know Paisley nor her daughter but she agreed to help with the bills

Dylan coincidentally paid her salary a week ago, so she’s ready to make the payment for the surgery to begin

After the deposit, she returned to the reception only for an unfamiliar woman to rush to her, pulling her into a warm embrace before she could even realize

“Thank you so much Claribel” Paisley said as her tears poured out freely

Claribel slowly hugged her back

“It’s fine” she said simply

She disengaged from the hug and left the hospital immediately making Paisley wonder why

“What’s wrong with her.. I thought she’s always jovial” she said

Teresa sighed deeply

“She stopped working already and is behaving strangely cold” she replied, sighing again

They sighted surgeons entering the emergency ward and some nurses wheeled Jessica into the ward with the stretcher

“The surgery is starting now” Harold smiled broadly

“I hope she survives it”

Claribel sat quietly in the ice cream shop, the ice cream she ordered for was melting already and she didn’t even care

“It’s not up to three hours already.. I miss staying around him” she thought

Her phone suddenly rang and she checked the caller’s ID immediately

Her eyes widened

“Jerky boss” was was she saved it with

He was calling!

She couldn’t pick the call, she just don’t want to..

She pressed the red button and immediately switched off her phone

“Stay away from me..” she breathed as a tear slipped out of the corner of her eyes

Night..

Dylan’s mansion..

Roxanne inaudibly creeped through the passage, heading to his chamber, She peered around and had no sight of him, the maids nor butlers…

She handled the door mildly to evade making a sound and was about turning it’s knob…her daughter’s voice echoed loudly in her head and she dropped her arms immediately

“She should be in his room as his fiacee.. our main priority is getting rid of her to take what belongs to us back”

She sighed, returning her palm back to the door knob, curling her fingers around it as she proceeded to twist it open, holding the po.isonous syringe firmly in her other hand

His voice made her froze.. like a statue as he appeared behind her

Her heart skipped many beats at once

That voice.. the same voice she heard that night, the one she’s been dying to hear again for the past eleven years

Dylan squinted his eyes, trying hard to assume who she was

Her back was facing him, he couldn’t see her face

Despite how fearless she is as a dangerous lady…

He’s the only one that has this effect on her, right from the dawn of time

The voice came again.. from him, this time she shut her eyes madly tight, biting her lower lip hardly

“Who are you..?”

Vikings Villa..

“Boss, you sent for me” a guard said, jolting her out of her thoughts.. Roxanne held her chest, breathing heavily

“Geez, so it was just an imagination” she breathed, looking around like she was looking for something specific

“Boss..?” The guard said again and she immediately snapped

“Call me Jacqueline” she said and he bowed in respect before leaving

Jacq came in a few minutes later smoking a ¢igarette

“What?, you look disturbed” she smirked

“I had a brief imagination” Roxanne sighed

“About..?” She furrowed her brows

“Me at Dylan’s place, about to enter his room with a knife in my hands but his voice behind me made me froze” he said and Jacqueline laughed

“¢razy”

“I know right”

“The goods has finally arrived in England” Jacqueline said, changing the topic

“Oh really! We should be ready for a blast as soon they realize it’s fake” Roxanne laughed

“¢razy..” Jacq said amidst laughter

“Tell Gerald to prepare the guns..” Roxanne ordered

“Sure” Jacqueline replied puffing out smoke from her nostrils

“You know how much I hat£ ¢igarettes” Roxanne glared and she smirked

“I know right.. smoking is life” Jacqueline screamed and winked before bursting into an annoying laughter

Next morning..

Saturday?

Dylan didn’t sleep a wink the previous night, he kept calling Claribel even till his battery ran down but she never answered the call, instead she switched off her phone after several calls

His eyes had dark circles under neath due to how he didn’t sleep through out the night and it was so obvious

Alexandrea couldn’t help whimpering and crying.. Dylan had to lie to her that she went on a visit to het sick mother which calmed her down a bit

“Morning Princess” Dylan forced a smile as Andrea came in

“Dad” she hugged him tightly and he hugged her back

“I miss her” she pouted and she nodded slowly

“She”ll be back soon” he tried convincing and she nodded in belief

“Why don’t we visit her” Andrea suddenly said and Dylan furrowed his brows

“Huh..”
