He woke up with a terrible throbbing headache and was surprised to find himself in the room.. on his bed

The sunlight streaking from the curtains hit his face and he laid on the bed, booting like an old computer

He was drunk..

And Then..

“Did Ann take me in” he wondered loudly

His temperature was terribly high and he felt so sick

It was the first time he took alcohol since Alexandrea’s birth.. something he had vowed never to do again

His phone beeped and he immediately picked it up hoping it’s Claribel..

His face fell on seeing the caller’s ID.. it wasn’t her

Of course, she wouldn’t call

What was he expecting?!

“Dad..” he breathed heavily watching the phone ring and with a deep sigh, he swiped green

“It took you forever to pick my call huh!” James yelled.. Dylan’s headache increased

“Good morning” he said, ignoring his initial statement

“You’ve lost your manners” James growled and Dylan breathed in frustration

“This dvil!” he folded his fists

“Good morning dad.. ” he winced and was sure the old man smirked

“Well, son.. do you think you can play smart” James laughed from the other end

Dylan sighed, he wasn’t interested in the conversation.. not even a bit

“What is it” He said bluntly

“You really want your inheritance right huh.. just hope Tristan’s fiancee’s pregnancy isn’t older” James said

Dylan was ¢razily confused.. and he has no guts to hang up

“What are you talking about dad” he said getting pissed already

“You’ll be surprised to know that I’m aware already, well congratulations, I’ve been informed that Brinkley is pregnant with the Langford’s second grand child.. your child”

His headache disappeared immediately

He had hoped this would nevertheless happen..

That was his fear..

“My child..?!!” He shouted hoping it was all a dream, but it was obviously not one. Sleep disappeared from his eyes instantly

“Dad you’re joking right” he said breathless, not wanting to believe

James scoffed loudly

“How on earth do you expect me to call you this early just to play some pranks on you, I’m not that daft” he said frankly

Dylan’s hands suddenly started shaking on it’s own

“Brinkley is pregnant for me?!” His mind stuttered

The phone dropped from his hands even before he could realise

He stared completely into the space, looking like a derailed fool

“It finally happened, she definitely planned this” he mumbled lowly as beads of sweat formed on his fore head despite the fact that he was under the air conditioner

“What do I tell her?” He breathed, his gaze landed on his cracked phone, lying helplessly on the tiled floor. A tear slipped from the corner of his eyes

She highlighted quickly from her car, slamming the car door hard behind her. She was cladded in a classy grey suit and trousers with white inner

Her looks were furious as she took steady steps to the security personnel

“I’ve been pressing the car horn for several minutes but no one answered, did you lose your brain or ears?!” she yelled bluntly in her French accent

It’s her first time here for Peter’s sake!!

The yellowed-teeth gate keeper flinched slightly as he staggered backwards

“I’m sorry ma’am, are you here to see someone?” He asked, ignoring her initial statement

Cindy blinked repeatedly with a scoff

“Now I see that not only your brain and ears are malfunctioning, your eyes and sense too!” She spat

“You really need to stop shouting please, it’s constituting a nuisance here” the gate keeper said confidently and Cindy grew mad instantly

“How dare you!” She retorted, raising het hands to slap him

The gate keeper closed his eyes, expecting to feel the pain from the slap but Someone suddenly appeared from nowhere and held her hand tight, making it stop right in the mid air

She immediately turned to see who it was, boiling greatly in rage

“Who the h’ll is……” The remaining words got stuck in her mouth as she beheld the image standing before her

She was immediately dumbfounded, staring at him like a dummy.
