“Mell! Mell are you ok?” She quickly stood, checking him out.
He hit his arms on the ground, and crates fell on it too, causing them to peek, and they’re already bleeding.
“Sht! Tommorow is the tournament this can’t be happening right now!” She gasped shockingly.
“I’m so sorry” the voice of the driver said behind, and Cypress turned back immediately.
“Are you blind or..
She stopped talking when she saw he’s quite old.
“You should stop driving if you’re old! Stop putting the lives of people at risk! My brother is wounded here!” She shouted, and the man quickly went on his knees.
“I’m really very sorry, it’s all my fault”
“You think sorry cuts it? He has a trophy to win tommorow!” Cypress shouted angrily.
“Cypress stop” Maxwell said, and she faced him again.
She helped him up from the ground, and he smiled lightly at the man who was still kneeling.
“It’s fine, you should leave” he said, and his eyes widened
“No I can’t leave like this, I should pay for your…
“Treatment? No I’ll be fine, just be careful next time” he smiled, and Cypress rolled eyes at the man as she began taking him to the car.
They eventually drove away, and the man stood immediately, dialling CleoSpeedy’s line.
“The job is done, I made it as minor as possible, I’m sure he’d have problems tommorow” he reported.

SKYLINE MEDICAL CENTER**
“What! I shouldn’t swim for two week or what did you just say?” Maxwell said shockingly when the doctor gave him the result of his x-ray.
“Yes, Mr Milla. The result shows you have a sprain in your right arm bone as you can see, and a deep scratch on your right hand.
Even besides that, you once had an internal injury you didn’t treat, you shouldn’t have been so careless as a swimmer” the doctor said.
“Internal injury?” He muttered.
“Must be from the accident Jemima caused” Cypress said sadly, and he nodded.
“Oh…”
“You should take a break for the next two weeks and come for scan and treatment everyday” the doctor continued.
“That’s not gonna be possible, tommorow is the tournament, I’ve been preparing for tommorow all my life, I must swim” he replied.
“I’m afraid if you insist of swimming tommorow and worsen the injuries, you might not be able to swim again for the rest of your life” the doctor said.
“What!” Cypress and Maxwell chorused.

NEXT DAY, SAME HOSPITAL**
Jemima just had to come, she hates dragging health matters, so she decided to attend to it before going for the tournament.
She came with Sloane though, and the test has been carried out already. They’re patiently waiting for results.
“Is it what I’m thinking?” Sloane said, and Jemima quickly faced her.
“What?”
Sloane rubbed her belly with a wink.
“Is junior Mell coming already?”
“That can’t be it” Jemima replied.
“Congratulations Miss Jemima!” The new head doctor shouted, coming out to them.
“What’s up with me?” She asked quickly, and he handed her the papers.
She quickly opened it, and a glance at it made her eyes widen.
“OMG! Oh my goodness Sloane it’s true! I’m having a baby! I’m three weeks preggie!!!” She screamed.
“I said it! I’m so happy for you!” Sloane gushed, and they hugged immediately.
“I can’t wait to tell my cupcake, Cesca will be so happy too!”
