CHAPTER 5
EASTWOOD HIGH.
Kimberly sighs for the umpteenth time as she walk through the hall. She suddenly felt something been sprayed on her and look back only to see Jayden grinning.
“What the h’ll are you doing?”
“I thought I saw some insects flying around”
“You nut job” She hit his occiput.
“Ouch! That hurts you know”
“That was the goal you fool” She glared before walking away. He ran after her.
“But how long has it been that you’ve washed your hair?”
“Why? It’s gets on your nerves”
“Can’t you see the flies swooning around you?”
“At least they’re interested in me”
“You psycho…” He brought out a lollipop and gave it to her. She collected it and was unwrapping it when Jay spotted Diego walking to a corner.
“Oh! There goes one person you’d like to be interested in you” Kimberly looks up and saw him she watched him till he got out of sight then she sighs putting the lollipop in her mouth.
Jay suddenly started laughing and Kim looks at him in question.
“You’ve gone maniac?” She asked.
“I think you’re the maniac here…hey how could you seriously like someone like him? You?”
“What’s wrong with me?”
“Hey…the only good thing about you is your grade everything else is zero”
“Are you saying I’mma failure?” She asked and he shrugged.
“You d!mwit!” She made to hit him but he was fast to get away from her.
“Will you just listen to me first? Can’t you do without getting violent?”
“That is my disease and the only antidote is unleashing it on you!”
“Just listen seriously!”
“It better make sense”
“Guys aren’t after girls who act wild and brute like you”
“Don’t worry I’m only like this to you…I’m not that stupid to act ¢razy in front of him”
“Ohhh…so I’m the pushover here uh?”
“I thought you knew”
“Seriously! Alright I got that the only way to show your love to me” He walks closer to her putting his arms around his shoulder.
“Being feisty is one…you do you think he’ll ever look at you for a second…have you ever look at the mirror?”
“Are you saying I’m homely?”
“Don’t you think so?”
“No I don’t…I may not be beautiful but I at least escaped being ugly”
“Who is it?”
“What?”
“The one feeding you lies! Who is that je.rk?! I have things to settled with that person! How could he…”
“Do you wanna die?” She gave him a d.eath glare and he back off.
“Anyways…you’ll never get him to like you if you continue like this…just give up!”
“Why don’t you leave to your class now?”
“I would like to spend more time with you”
“I don’t wanna be with you so get lost”
“Hey you shouldn’t talk like that…I’m the only one who loves you truly in this sacred world”
“Tsk tsk tsk…what an idiot” She shakes her head leaving.
“Hey! Hey!! She’s always like this that’s why no one likes her…how pathetic” he itch his hair before leaving the other way.

“You’ll regret it” Verna said behind Kimberly who is taking out some books from her locker.
“I thought I made it clear yesterday…you should get lost”
“I could help you get him easily”
“And I already said i don’t need your dmn help!” Kimberly said slamming her locker hard getting some of the students attention.
“If you don’t scram between ten seconds you’re definitely gonna have to need these people help to get out of here” She threatens and Verna clear her throat clearly intimidated.
“You…I won’t ever let you be with him. You’ll regret this” She flicked her hair before marching away.
“Idiot” Kim mutters closing her locker. She was about leaving when she saw Diego about walking just past her. She quickly held his hand.
“Diego…?”
He looked at her blankly.
“umm….hi…” She said awkwardly and he snatched his hand from hers this made her lose her balance and was about falling but Diego was quick to catch her by the waist.
Smiles spread on her face instantly as he held hee in his arms with her heart thumbing like ¢razy. He let go of her and she wouldn’t cease smiling.
“Got anything to say?”
“Um…I actually would like….if you could teach me…how to play basketball…you can right?” She asked with smiles all over her face.
“I couldn’t stop thinking of that day in the basketball court…can we…do it again?” She added. Diego started walking closer to her while she steps back until her back hit the locker.
He placed his palm on the locker behind her leaning closer. Her face turns red and she bit her lower lip.
“Why would I….” He paused taking a look at her from head to toe.
want to do that with you?” He completed.
“Uh?”
“Am I in this school… to teach you?”
“I…I just want t_”
“Even the sight of you irritates me don’t push me…I’m already holding it in getting tangled with the likes of you” He gave her an unfriendly look before withdrawing. Kimberly breathes out.
“What…what’s wrong with the likes of me?” She muster the courage to ask.
“Do you have to ask? Everything is wrong with you….everything” He said before leaving finally.
“That’s….harsh” She mutters.
“I really just…like you…” She mumbles.

CLASS 3
“Onda!!!” Kimberly ran to Onda hugging her tightly.
“Kiki..”
“Hey what happened? I was worried”
“I’m sorry…something came up”
“Have you resort it? Is everything alright?” Kim asked and she nodded smiling.
“I missed you” Onda held her hand while Kim smiles.
“I know you brat…”
“But Kiki…are you okay? You don’t look too good”
Kimberly sighs.
“I’m just having a hard time”
“With your crush?”
“Why is liking someone so hard? I wish I have the power to make him mine”
“If he’s meant to be yours then he’d eventually will…don’t push yourself too hard”
“When? I’m sure he clearly knows how I feel…virtually everyone in this school does…so why is he being like that?”
“I…really pity you sometimes…why did you have to like him of all guys? I don’t think he’s likable” Onda said and she pouted.
“I wonder too…but he’s just so dmn cool” She gushed grinning.

CLASS 1
Miss Ina, the English teacher keeps explaining to the class. However Jade and Jay’s attention wasn’t there as they were busy texting each other.
?Isn’t the English teacher too sexy ?Jayden texted.
?Her legs is a killer ?Jade texted back
?I caught her winking at me earlier ? Jay texted.
?hey don’t go over yourself she’s mine ? jade replied.
? let’s see who gets her first then…she’d probably would not be able to resist this handsome face of mine and most importantly what I have to offer ? Jay chatted chuckling silently.
? I think I’m just gonna pass on her ?
? you’re giving up so soon ?
? Not that just I don’t eat oldies ?
? what do you mean? She’s fresh ?
? You know I made my findings on any experiment of mine ?
? of course that’s why you only go for the best ?
? after all findings it turns out she’s isn’t qualified…you won’t believe if I tell you she’s over forty ?
“What Forty!!” Jayden leaped up staring at his phone. All eyes shifted to him.
“Hey!” Jade whisper called him.
“Jason Henshaw” Miss Ina called strictly.
“Teacher…are you over forty? Seriously” Jaden asked making the students burst out in laughter.
“He’s ¢razy…” Jade mutters facepalming.
“Jayden Henshaw…OUT OF MY CLASS RIGHT NOW!!!” Miss Ina roared shocking Jayden himself as he flinched.

The teacher was already in the class when Diego stepped in. Not minding the teacher he started walking to his seat but was stopped by the teacher.
“Why are you just coming?” The teacher asked.
“I don’t think it’s necessary for you to know that?” Diego replied rudely making the teacher angry.
“You’re as rude as always…go out of my class. I don’t need students like you”
“Sure…if that’s what you want” Diego said simply walking out of the class. And the students wouldn’t stop cooling especially the girls.
“He’s soo cool…this really makes me like him more” Kimberly mutters.

For talking back at the teacher he was given punishment to run 50 laps round the field. But he wasn’t the only one as Jayden was already there serving his punishment.
The gym teacher sat on a bench watching as Diego joined Jay.
“Hey…I’m Jayden…i know you..you’re Diego the weird guy my best friend is in love with” Jay said running along with him.
“So?” Diego asked with a bore tone.
“You know who I’m talking about right? Kimberly”
“I know…the pest who wouldn’t let me be”
“Hey…don’t you think that’s a little harsh? She’s has been liking you for a while now”
“Did I asked her to? How annoying”
“Still…do you have any plans on liking her back?”
“Why would I like a girl like her?”
“What’s wrong with her? She’s brilliant beautiful and smart…yeah she may be crazy sometimes but she’s really fun to be with…that’s her charm”
Diego stopped making Jay stopped also.
“Why don’t you date her then? I have no interest so stop forcing me”
“Wow…you’re really mean…so what do you plan on doing? You should at least make things clear to her”
“Who knows…since she wouldn’t leave me alone I’m thinking she might be of some use”
“What? What use?”
“What else do you think?” Diego smirk leaving him he continues running while Jay balled his fists where he stood.
“That jerk…” He gritted before running after him and on getting to him, he turns him to face him landing a heavy punch on his face. Diego fell on the floor with a loud thud.
“You…what did you just say uh?” Jay got on him grabbing his shirt.
“Why…she can be quite useful for some days…I think she’d be happy to be that much” Diego boasted and Jay started throwing pvnches at him not stopping till the gym teacher came to seperate them.
“What do you two think you’re doing!!” The gym hold Jay back.
“You…stay away from Kim! I don’t wanna see you near her!…I’ll kll you if you go near her you punk!!” Jay shouted as the gym teacher took him away.
“Won’t you keep quiet!! Diego follow me”
Diego spat away blood from his mouth as he stands.
“Fo.ol…” He mutters leaving also.
