Jeff and I head home after dropping of my family to be at home.
Dad was having a glass of wine staring at the space seated close to the swimming pool at the sitting room.
Hi dad. I said and sat next to him then gave him a peek on his cheeks.
Jeff you visited. Dad said turning to his direction.
Yes sir. Jeff said and sat on a canbed
Dad we came for your blessing because Jeffrey and I are getting married next week. I said smiling
So soon dear…. I was hoping you would spend few months with me but as long it’s Jeffrey,the both of you will always have my blessings. Dad said smiling
We’re sorry dad,we made it so sudden and fast I just can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with Emily. Jeff said smiling

You’re such a hard working young man and I love it when you called me dad. Emm I lost interest in working hard when I lost Emily’s mum but I did my very best to give Emily a comfortable life because she deserves it.
I know am not the best father everyone think I am,ever since Emily was little,she always wanted my attention and that was what I couldn’t give her as a father. Mr Santos said
Oh daddy. Emily said grinning from ear to ear
Yes Emily but Jeffrey changed that,he gave you all the love, affection and attention I couldn’t give you. Thank you for filling those empty space in her. My dreams are to see my only princess happy and you made that possible. Mr Santos said and hugged Emily.

I put my trust in you Jeff and I can feel my grandson kicking already. He chuckled, Emily and I stared at each other in surprise.
Don’t worry a smart informant told me about the good news. Congratulations to the both of you. Let’s have a group hug. He said smiling spreading his arms wide open as we both embraced him.

I was at the kitchen preparing Aaron’s favorite dishes when he walked into the kitchen.
My love what are you doing in the kitchen… Go to the sitting room and wait till am done,am almost done. I instructed with a smile
No mum I want to help. He said and hugged me from behind
No Aaron,if you assist me in the kitchen what would be the work of all this maids? I asked
It’s ok mum, anyways this isn’t my first time in the kitchen. I do assist Joan in the kitchen whenever she’s cooking. He said with a smile
What? I stuttered in shock
That Joan of a girl when I get my hands on her,she will be made as lunch for the lions. How dare she make my son work in the kitchen,she allowed my only son do the work of a maid. She will pay for this. I muttered in my mind angrily not realizing I cut my finger.
Mum you’re bleeding. Aaron shouted as he quickly washed my hand in the sink.
You guys should take over from here. I will go treat her finger. Aaron said to the maids.

I went through the news blog as Kelly instructed and to my shock,I was seeing another me.
She looks exactly like me. I gasped out
But how? I think dad has an explanation for this. I said and had a flashback.

Grandma Susan, Iris needs to leave the Philippines at all cost and don’t worry I will take care of the rumors. Dad said” FB ends
Immediately I got to the states,she got into an accident,what does daddy mean by he’s gonna take care of the rumors.

I was at the office editing some files and going through my meeting schedules when Iris came in.
Hi mummy. She said and sat down

Not really sweetie,am just trying to meet up with your father’s expectations. I lied
Mummy I wanna go back to the Philippines. She said

OK sweetie but I think am tagging along as well. It’s 17years now I last visited the Philippines. I said smiling
But mummy you don’t like going there,you say it reminds you of sad memories. Iris said

Mum what were you thinking. I shouted at her after treating her injury.
Am sorry Aaron. Mum said
Thank goodness the cut wasn’t that deep. I said and my phone rang
Hello Ann. I said over the phone
How are you Aaron and your mum? She asked
Am fine, mum’s fine and how are you feeling today? I asked
Am better now and I’ve been discharged from the hospital. She said
Really! Are you at home? I asked curiously
Yeah. She replied
OK I will be there in five minutes,bye. I said and hung up.
Mum,Joan just got discharged from the hospital. I need to go see her. See you later mum. I said smiling and left the room.

Joan… Joan…. Joan.. I shouted and threw my bedsheet away.
You’ve done enough. You’re slowly stealing my son away from me,I can’t let that happen. I said shivering and took my phone and called James.
James get me my pills. I yelled over the phone and the phone fell off as I shivered with my itching hair.
Haaaaaa! I shouted and broke a glass of water then I stood up to find myself any pills to take without knowing I was stepping on the broken glass cup.
I always get traumatized anytime am provoked. Stephen my husband took my drugs away,he said the drugs makes me do things in a very dangerous way. Aaron thought I received treatment in the states but I refused to and it’s been kept a secret from him so he doesn’t avoid me..
