Why don’t you want us to come to the Philippines?is it because you’re scared so I won’t find out that Pamela now stays in Manila. I muttered and I can see the shock in his face
Now you know Pamela stays here in Manila wat will you do?he smirked
Logan I know you had a hand in what happened to Pamela’s daughter Joan,why did you do that to that innocent girl?I asked
I sent someone to do something with her car brake in case iris refuse to go to the States she won’t see her. He said smiling

When I finished freshening up, I went to mum’s room but getting to her door I heard daddy shouting on mummy so I eavesdrops to their conversation,I heard they discussed and questions began to run through my mind so I opened the door
Sweety have you been standing there for long ? mummy asked with her hand shivering
Mum,dad who’s Pamela and how is she related to you and daddy why don’t you love mummy, daddy what have you been passing through this past 17years?I asked but they all went mute

I was at the balcony having a glass of wine when I called Aaron
Hello my love. When are you coming back home?I asked
Sorry mum but I have to spend the night in Joan’s. Take care of yourself mum, good night love you. He said and hung up without waiting to hear my reply
Joan I hate you. I think am ready to spend the night with Polio,you have made me loss my mind Joan to the extent of sleeping with Polio. I said then went to the car park, entered my car and drove off to Polio
Stella Delma, you’ve come these far there’s nothing to lose. I said to myself when I came down from my car.

Looks like nobody wants to talk,when I make up my mind am never gonna change it. Iris said sounding furious
No sweety, Pamela is my little sister, my one and only sister. I lost contact with her when Logan and I came back from the states. I said nervously
But mummy what did you go through in the past 17yrs and why did you lose contact with your only sister? she asked curiously
Am sorry sweety,when we came back from the States, Pamela was going through Logan’s things when she saw our marriage certificate in Logan’s bag,she became very angry because she and Logan got engaged before we travelled to the states. I said with tears dropping down my cheeks
Emelia this isn’t the right time to talk about those things. Logan barked

Iris. Daddy shouted
Daddy you have never raised your voice at me before, daddy you’re giving me more reasons to be suspicious, daddy what secret do you have with Grandma sussy and I heard grandma Susan telling you that you won’t hide the truth forever. Daddy I can feel you have a big secret that you don’t want either mummy or I to know about. I said
Fine, do you want to know the truth,Joan is your twin the both of you are identical twins. I paid one of the nurses at the hospital Pamela delivered because Emelia lost her child a baby girl. Daddy said with the expression on his face you will know he never wanted to say it.
Daddy you’re the worst father in the whole world,what did Pamela do to you for you to treat her this way,I hate you. I fired crying then ran out from home.

What did just do Logan?I asked myself with my hand on my face
Logan take back what you just said because I know iris is my daughter so take it back. Emelia shouted shaking, hitting me and sobbing
Emelia you better accept the fact that iris is not your daughter, everything that happened today you’re the cause of it. Iris now hates me, Iris hates me now. I said crying as I sat on the floor
You ba$tard how dare you hurt Pamela’s feelings like that just to make me happy,how dare you. Emelia said hitting me and sobbing
I never planned to hurt her, Pamela betrayed me, she betrayed me. I said still crying
Logan it’s 18yrs now you should forget about it. She said sobbing
Never. I shouted
Logan,you have … She hasn’t completed her statement then I slapped her.
Logan you slapped me. She said as tears roll down her cheeks…

Aaron and I was sitting at the sitting room watching a movie and taking a glass of wine when the door bell rang.
I will get the door. I stood up and went to the door. When I got there it was a small parcel on the floor,I picked it up and it says for Joan. I looked around to see who dropped it but I couldn’t see anyone so I got inside and opened the parcel to my surprise,I saw two photos, one is mine but the other looks exactly like me and I saw a little note with a wrapped paper. I read the little note,it says
” I know you’re surprised with the photos but don’t worry, you’re not the other girl she’s Iris lozado,your identical twin. I know you won’t believe me just take good look at the wrapped paper.
After reading it,I brought out the wrapped paper and opened it, it’s a DNA result.

Joan what happened are you ok?I asked curiously
Aa…..Ron. she stammered giving me a paper and two photos
OMG but how’s it possible and the DNA says positive. I muttered out still looking at it
Aaron,I don’t know why but from the first day I heard of Iris lozado I had a hint that we have a connection. She said
So Iris is your other twin we thought she’s dead, your mum will be happy to hear about this. I said smiling

I woke up the next morning and went to the bathroom,after freshing up,I put on my clothes,I picked my hand bag and entered my car then drove off. I was driving and a call came in. It’s Polio,I guess he’s awake already.
Hello Polio. I said as I plugged in my ear phone
How are you baby? Don’t worry the mission will be accomplished today. He said
Good. I said and put on a satisfactory smile ……
