Joan,I like it here because here’s full of joy and laughter,I don’t feel like going back home. I said.
Iris we have to go home because I miss mum alot. Joan said.
No Joan, none of you is leaving this place. Aaron chipped in.
And why is that? Joan asked.
Because my mum sent someone to monitor your home and your family members in case you come back, at the moment Polio is looking everywhere for you guys so we need to stay here for like two or three months without any phone calls. Aaron suggested.
What if we stay here like four months more. I said with a smile.
Iris. Joan said as she rolled her eyes jovially.
*** PAMELA ***
In three days time Emelia and I went back to the station. When we got to the station we went straight to the inspector’s office.
Good day ma’am. The inspector greeted.
Sir any update on the case? Emelia asked.
We are sorry ma’am we searched the whole city but we couldn’t find any proof. The inspector explained.
Sir have you searched the forest after the high way that maybe the place they took the girls to. I said sobbing.
We’re trying our best ma’am. The person responsible for their kidnapping must be a dangerous cindicate because he hid his job clean without any lickage of proof. The inspector said.
Emelia. I called out as I hugged her.
It’s ok. Emelia comforted
Ma’am who do you think will do this to you so we can interrogate the person and maybe get some info and proof from that person. The inspector interrogated.
I don’t think I have any enemies. I said.
*** PEMPEM ***
When Pamela and Emelia came back from the station,the looks on their faces wasn’t satisfactory.
Emelia what happened any update on the case?I asked curiously.
The inspector said they couldn’t find any evidence or proof in th high way they saw the bus. Emelia said as she took a glass of water.
What,th person responsible must be a bastard he planned it so well. I uttered out angrily.
Yeah. Emelia sided.
But what have I done to that person for him or her to treat me this way. Pamela said as we heard the door bell ring and I went to get the door to my suprise it’s Jeffrey.
Jeff you’re back? I asked in suprise.

When Pempem opened the door,I could see the shock in his eyes.
Yeah, how are you pempem?I asked as I hugged him.
I’m fine. Emily how are you doing? I hope Jeff didn’t give you much difficulty because my son here loves to stress someone out. Pempem said laughing as we got inside.
Of course not, he’s not gonna take chances with me. Emily said smiling.
Yeah, take their bags to their room upstairs. Pempem said to one of the maids
Mum. I shouted as I ran to hug her.
Jeffrey how are you my son? Mum asked in a low tone.
I’m fine mum,I missed you so much. I said smiling.
Emily my daughter,how are you and my grandchild? Mum asked as she hugged Emily patting her back.
Mum the both of us are doing just fine. Emily said smiling as she rubbed her stomach
Good to hear dear. Mum said.

Jeffrey, Emily meet my elder sister Emelia. Mum said looking at her sister.
Emelia meet Jeffrey my son and his wife Emily. Mum introduced.
Aunt Emelia, how are you? Mum once told me about you and by what she told me I could tell she was the one who ran away. Jeffrey said smiling
I’m fine jeff. Pamela told me alot about you. Aunt Emelia said with a smile.
Yeah she would. Aunt please give me a hug. Jeffrey requested as they both hugged.
Emily how’s the baby doing? Aunt Emelia asked.
He’s doing just fine. I said smiling.
Mum,you lost some weight, did you fall sick or you’re watching your weight no maybe you fell sick because Joan is never gonna let you watch your weight. I said jovially.
Pamela I have somewhere to rush off to see you guys later bye. Aunt Emelia said and left the sitting room.

When Emily talked of Joan,I realized am missing my daughter alot.
Mum where’s Joan,I can’t catch sight of her around. I miss my sis so much. Jeffrey said
Emm….. Joan went to school. I lied
C’mon mum, today is Sunday so how can Joan be in school. Mum be honest with me, where’s Joan? Jeffrey asked with all seriousness then my eyes became teary.
Joan was kidnapped and I found out lately that Iris lozado is Joan’s twin I thought was dead and the both of them were kidnapped together. I said sobbing.
Joan was what? Jeffrey asked in shock.
Yes Jeffrey,they were kidnapped a day after your wedding with Emily. I said still sobbing.
But you never told me Joan and Iris were kidnapped maybe I would have done something about it. Have you reported a complaint? Jeffrey asked curiously.
Yes but the police are doing their possible best to find Joan and Iris. I said.
It’s four months already, mum why didn’t you say anything. My sisters lives are in danger. No one knows what the kidnappers might have done to them. Jeffrey uttered almost in tears.
