CHAPTER 37
Carding removes her hand from Nadine and Nadine face him.
“What’s going on with you Carding?”
“Meaning?”
“Did you possibly think I won’t find out about what happened. Why did you leave the mansion?’
“And I’m also sure you must have heard the full story, right? My Dad landed my mom in coma all because of you and your mom!!”
“But that won’t have happened if you haven’t befriended that Paige. If that video didn’t go viral, your mom won’t have been in coma, is all Paige’s fault”
“Don’t even think about pinning the blame on Paige. I’m glad it even happened, at least I have finally left that monster I call my Dad”
“Can you even hear yourself speaking? You want to live as a pauper. How’re you going to survive?”
“How I’m going to survive is none of your business Nadine” Carding said and tries to leave but Nadine held his hand.
“I care about you so much Carding, and that’s why despite what you did to me, I’m still worried about you. Just go back home, if you want I can beg your Dad to take you back. I don’t want to see you suffering, is going to be hard for you, just go back home” Nadine said.
Carding jerks her hand off and leaves.
“Why is he stubborn?” Nadine muttered fighting back her tears.

The art students were all busy looking at the poster board, checking out who will be their partners for the art work competition.
“Wow I guess you and Carding are really destined to together. You both are partners for the competition” Desiree said and Paige smiles.
“I guess birds of thesame feathers always flocks together. Nadine and Barney are partners” Sabrina said.
Stacey smiles checking for her name and her smiles vanish when she sees that Sabrina and Angelo where partners for the artwork Competition, while she (Stacey) and Dylan were partners.
“Sab. You and Angelo are partners” She said with a sad face.
“Huh?” Sabrina muttered and looks at the poster board.
“Why me of all people?” She muttered and face Stacey
“Don’t worry Stacey, That way I’ll get you more closer to Angelo. I’m going to tell him everything about you, when we create our artwork together”.
“Thanks so much Sabrina” Stacey said smiling.
Desiree sighs and shakes her head.
“Love will never be my thing” She muffled checking for her name, and her jaw dropped on seeing who she was going to partner with.
“I’m partners with Nadine’s twin!” Desiree exclaims.
“Hi Guys” Nadia said waving at the four of them.
Paige, Desiree, Stacey and Sabrina looked at her awkwardly.
“I just wanted to say Hi, since I’m partnering with Desiree” Nadia said innocently.
“Can you pull off that act? We know your just like your sister” Desiree said.
“No I’m not. Nadine maybe my twins but I’m different from her, trust me” Nadia said.
“Are you her puppet then?” Desiree asked and Paige hits her lightly.
“Don’t be rude Desiree”
“I can’t help it Paige. After what her mom and twin sister did to you, I feel like disfiguring her face. Why are we partners is what I keep asking myself” Desiree said.
Sabrina and Stacey didn’t say a word.
“Is okay if you hate me I understand. My sister is annoying and I won’t blame you if you take it out on me, since I’m her twin. But I really want to be friends with the four of you” Nadia said.
“Huh? You want to be in our group?” Paige asked and Nadia nods.
“Yes. I really admire how you stood up against Nadine. Is something I can’t do, even if I’m her twin. I’ve always wanted to talk to you four, but I didn’t know how to. Guess I do now, since I and Desiree are partners” Nadia said.
“What can you do?” Desiree asked.
“Huh?”
“Paige is the queen of craziness, I’m the queen of gossip, Sabrina the laughing queen and Stacey, the visual of our group, what can you do? You can’t be our friend if you ain’t good at anything”.
“Well I’m good at writing” Nadia said.
“Our friendship group isn’t a library… Your out” Desiree said and Paige h!ts her head.
“Don’t mind her Nadia, your in” Paige said.
“Really” Nadia said smiling.
“Yes. But as long as you don’t behave like your bratty sister” Paige said.
“Never. I’m not like her” Nadia said smiling.

BB MODELING INDUSTRY***
“Why can’t I participate in the red carpet event? I’m a model too” Nadine said.
“Because of the video that went viral Nadine” The director answers.
“But it has already been taken down, is no longer on social media”.
“But it hasn’t been wiped out from the minds of people Nadine, and I’m sure half of Chicagos have the video saved in their phones, and I won’t be surprised if they bring that up during the red carpet event”.
“So that’s why your stopping me from going for it, first I stopped being the face of two expensive brands and now this. Are you trying to completely ruined my career huh!!” Nadine yells at him.
“Then you should have thought about the outcome of your action first before doing it. Your a celebrity model Nadine, but you belittled yourself and disgrace yourself, you even claimed a property that wasn’t yours. Your mom is the founder of one of the biggest entertainment industry that produce the best movies and series every year, but she didn’t think twice before going to your school to fight for you, You and your mom messed up big time, so you both have to dance to the beating of the music you both created” The director said.
Nadine sighs, swiping her hair to the back.
“Modelling is my life, I made a lot of effort just to be where I am today, I can’t let it slipped off my finger, I want to maintain my position as the top third popular model here in Chicago” Nadine said.
“That’s why you have to lay low for now, the video is still fresh in their memories, so for now, you just have to live like a normal girl passing by, still the whole issue dies now” The director said and leaves.
Nadine sits in the couch, blinking back her tears.
“I can’t believe I have to live like a normal girl rather than a popular model, this is all Paige’s fault!!! Is all her fault!!!, I’m going to kll her!!” Nadine screams scattering everything in the dressing room.

THE CASTILLO’S HOUSE***
Paige keeps looking at the window as it rain heavily outside.
“Why aren’t you sleeping Paige?” Greg asked her, when he came out from his room and sees Paige staring at the window with lots of worries.
“Carding isn’t yet back”
“I thought you both left for school together”
“Yes we did, but he left before classes where over, and he’s not yet back”
“I’m sure will be at one of his friend’s house”
“I called Angelo and Dylan and both said Carding isn’t in their house… What if his dad had him hostage” Paige said and without thinking, she ran out of the house.
“Paige! Where’re you going? Paige!!” Greg screams her name, but Paige ignores her.
Paige keeps running down the street as the rain drenched on her.
Her whole mind was occupied with fear. Carding left school without saying a word, and not seeing him at home, is igniting fear inside of her.
Vince is a monster and won’t think twice of hurting Carding.
“Carding” Her inner mind keeps calling him.
She was still running when she bumped into someone and they both landed on the ground.
Paige looked at the person she bumped into and her heart race calm down when she saw it was Carding.
“Where are running to inside the rain Paige?”
Paige looks at him and slaps him so hard on the face.
“Paige” Carding said surprisedly as the heavy rain fell on them.
“Did you know how scared I was huh? I thought… I thought your evil dad did something you, I thought that he took your hostage and I’ll never get to see your face again, I was so scared” Paige said crying.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t know you were this worry about me”
“Of course I’m worried about you. How can I not be worried about the boy I love so much!!!”
“Huh? You love me?”
“Yes I do Carding, I love you so much, so much that is driving me ¢razy”
Carding looks at her smiling.
“Are you a moron? Aren’t you going to say something” Paige said sniffing back her tears.
“You stole my heart a very long time ago Paige” Carding said and instantly claimed her lips.
Their l!ps moist and suppled as they kssed under the rain, and with every seconds that passed, Carding kept pulling her more closer to himself.
Paige deep her hand in his hair, enjoying the sweet flavor of his lips.
They kept turning their hands to the left and right, not ready to break the kss, and the rain add more sweetest to the kss.
