CHAPTER 34
We heard footsteps coming from the west wing passage. We turned and saw two men in black suit and I assumed they are bodyguards. They stared at us in disbelief and total shock.
“Hello boys” the vamp girl winked at them.
They pointed at us while giving her a questioning look.
“Oh them, they are my new friends hahahaha” she laughed out. “Guys,Meet Darius, the prince and demigod of werewolves, his mate, I don’t care about her name actually, and then the rudest mermaid I’ve ever seen” she introduced. “And to you guys, these are my fathers body guards” she added.
“Wait, if your father’s body guards are here,then that means….?” Alex asked.
“… My father is back, how about that” she smirked.
She laughed and walked to the west passage.
“Bring them boys” she instruced her guards and walked into the lim passage which has just a two tiny bulbs illuminating it.
Her guards wanted to drag us but Alex’s guards transformed into their wolf form and they stepped back.
“Guys relax, it’s OK” Alex calmed them down. They stopped howling and stepped back.
“There’s no need to drag us,just tell us where to go and we will” Alex said to the vampires.
“This way” the one with longer canins instructed,we walked through the west passage into a room probably about to meet our doom.
The room was a little dark,only a red bulb illuminated it,it really looked like lucifer’s chambers.
A figure was sitting on a Tall chair, I couldn’t see him very well but I was sure the figure was a male and he was wearing a dark robe.

He slowly sat up,I clutched Alex in fear, I checked on Nicky, she was just standing erect with no sign of fear in her eyes, same with Alex.
Alex’s lycan guards were roaming about the room impatiently
The figure stared at us keenly, he snapped his finger and the room became more illuminated with with white bulbs and that helped us see him clearly.
He is quite tall, slightly built and a little muscular as if he only visits the gym once in a month, his canins were a little longer and pointed making his clean shaven cheek bones more Cute, his dark hair was shimmering under the light as if it absorbed a thousand cans of gel.
Unlike what I was expecting, he really is handsome, calculated and comported, very young like about 36 which is weird for someone who has a daughter that is about my age. Maybe that’s because of thousands of people’s blood he Has fed on.
He stood up and sat on the only desk in the room.
“Darius Dimitri” he called out in husky, daring voice yet he sounded so melodious and beautiful.

Alex pressed my hand tightly. “You are commenting him too much” he complained, i laughed.
This guy is insane, He’s on hot seat right now yet he still have the nerve to complain about me commenting on Deacula’s cuteness.
“Give me one reason why I shouldn’t suck life out of you mmmh” Dracula asked Alex.
“Because it won’t make any difference, it won’t change the enmity between your people and mine so….” Alex shrugged.
“What do you want?” Dracula asked.
“The energy orb” the vamp chick replied.
Dracula laughed.
“And why are you telling me?” He asked Alex.
“Because, you have one” Alex replied.
“True, we have one here, but I don’t have the power to give out anything from here, and even if I do, I will never give it you werewolves” he spat out.
“What do you mean you don’t have the power to give out anything?” Nicky asked in confusion, seriously I wanna know.
“Isn’t it obvious, because I’m not the leader of the vampires, I’m not the king, ask Dracula” he replied.
Alex, Nicky and I exchanged glances in confusion.
“What do you mean you are not Dracula, if you are not, then who is?” Alex asked.
“I am” the Vamp chick replied.
“Whaaaaat” Alex, Nicky and I exclaimed in total shock.
Like seriously whaaaaat the h*ll.
“I’m Dracula, and that’s my dad” she stated and pointed at the man. “I mean everyone thought differently and it was fun watching them believe nonsense.
It’s cool right” she asked and laughed knowing fully well that she’s the only one enjoying the show, well her father was enjoying our facial expression as well.
“Yea, that’s the bitter truth, I’m Dracula, I’m the leader of the vampires, i’m the one who the werewolves waged war against, i’m the one whom the mermaids refused to align with, i’m the nemesis of the joes and i’m the one who sent them into hiding, i’m the one everyone fears…” She walked closer to Alex and stood face to face with him.
“So Darius Dimitri I ask Again, look me in the eye and repeat exactly the reason why you came to my territory, I dare you” she breathed out.
I felt my knee wobbling under me and for the first time ever since I knew them, I saw fear in Alex and Nicky’s eyes.
