Chapter 5
Tae’s pov
And boom! It was Ara! But it was too late to realize what happened.
We hit each other, making me lose my balance.
I was about to fall off from the stairs, but I didn’t. Someone is holding my shirt.
Ara’s pov
I drew his shirt to myself, and he stood well balanced on the stairs.
His eyes turned red immediately he looked at me.
“How dare you touch my shirt? Do you know how much I bought this? ” He snarled.
Seriously, he didn’t even say thank you. I should have allow him to fall off the stairs and break his damn head.
“If you want another shirt like this, I can order for you ” I said in a low tone.
Thank God I found him.
He scoffed.” I don’t need your money ”
“Good, at least I will use my money for something good ” I replied.
I turned and walked out of the garden, I got to the sitting room only to see that the Park’s family are already going.
“We will be going now, thanks for the dinner ” Mr Park said.
“You’re really welcome, Ara come see them off ” My Mom replied.
Huh? See them off?
I gulped down. “Okay mom”
Where the h*ell is Tae? Or his he staying here? H*ell no.
I escorted them outside, and saw the almighty Tae waiting in the car.
“Ara, do you know my cardigan is with you right now? ” One of his brothers said.
“Cardigan? No, the cardigan with me was given to me by a girl and I don’t think that’s your cardigan ”
“Of course it mine, let me describe it. It has a blue and white design” he explained.
That’s true.
“But don’t worry, come to my class tomorrow and give me the cardigan “He winked.
“Seo stop been a flirt! If the girl alone. You know she’s definitely not your type. Playboy. ” His brother whispered into his ear but I heard that.
“Hmm.. ” Was all he could say.
They got into the car and drove out of the house but not without glancing at Tae, he was busy with his phone.
I went back inside, and went straight to my room.
I lay on my bed thinking of how tomorrow is gonna be.
Soo Bin’s pov
I took a taxi to the hospital, my mom is gonna be discharged today.
The cab stopped at the hospital, I came out and gave the cab man money.
I entered the building and walked briskly to my mom’s ward.
“Mom!”
“Soo Bin! Please take me out of here ” My mom cried.
“Calm down mom, you will be out of here soon okay? ” I gave her a hug and patted her back.
She sniffled, “No, I need to be out of here. I saw your dad few minutes ago ”
“What?! You saw dad? ” I asked, in surprised.
“Yes, I saw him. ”
“Maybe you are hallucinating.. He’s not the one you saw ”
“But… ” I cut her off.
“It okay mom, whether he’s the one or not. All I know is that you are okay and feeling better now ” I said.
She nodded, the doctor came in to check on her and asked me to follow her to his office.
“Your mother is okay now, the poison is no longer in her body and she’s going to be discharge soon.
Though she’s suffering from depression. Am going to describe the drugs she’s gonna use every day.
Always make sure she’s happy and eat good food” The doctor said, and wrote down something on a paper.
I sighed deeply, ‘Mom is suffering from depression ‘
The doctor gave me the paper, the drugs which my mom is gonna be using everyday are listed inside.
“Can you signed here please? ”
“okay” She gave me a pen and I signed my signature on a clipboard.
” You go take your mom home now” She answered.
“Thanks doctor ” I stood up and walked back to my mom’s ward.
“Mom, we are going home now ” She smiled and I did the same too.
Next morning… ?
I took my bath and wore my uniform. I did my hair in a ponytail, took my bag and my phone then walked downstairs to the kitchen.
“Good morning mom ”
Good morning, how was your night? ”
“It was good mom, hmm… Let me help you with the food ”
“No don’t worry, you will be late for school ”
“Hey mom! It’s just 6:40 am. You need to rest mom, your health matters most ”
“I know, okay continue with the food, I will wash the dishes ”
“Am going to do everything, just go to the sitting room and rest then breakfast will be ready. So you can take your drugs ” I said and took her to the sitting room.
She sat down gently and I walked back to the kitchen.
20 minutes later…
The food was cooked and I poured the hot porridge into the plate and gave my mom to eat.
I poured my mine too and we sat down to do justice to the food.
“Make sure you use your drugs mom after this meal ” I said.
“Don’t worry, I will ”
I heard a horn outside, and my name too was called. “Ara is here! ”
“Mom, I need to go now. My friend is here to pick me up to school. ”
“Friend? I thought you don’t have a friend. How come you have a friend all of a sudden? ” my mom asked.
“Nothing mom, you don’t have to worry about me. Am going to take care of myself ” I finished the porridge and took the plate to the kitchen.
I came out and pecked my mother, then took my bag and ran out.
“Good morning Ara ” I greeted.
“Good morning, I thought you’re about to take your bath ”
“Hell no, I can’t just take my bath by this time ”
“Hmm.. But am sure on weekends, you wake up by 10 am.”
“Gosh! Let’s just go, we’re running late ” I answered.
Truthfully, Only on weekends I woke late.
“I knew you aren’t going to answer me ” I smiled.
She really smell nice again today.
Ara’s pov
We got to the gate and the security man stopped us. He wasn’t around yesterday.
“Gosh! I forgot my pass at home ” Soo bin said, looking agitated.
And as for me, I don’t even know if I have been given the pass with the papers the principal gave me.
What kind of school is this?
“Where are your pass? Or you brought a car? ” He asked.
Is he blind? He saw us on a scooter and was still asking if we bought a car.
“No sir, actually we forgot our pass at home ” I answered.
“Then go back home and bring it ”
“Sir please let us in, we will show you the pass tomorrow ”
“You know, that’s what you said on Monday saying you are a new student and now you said you both forgot it at home.
Am not letting you in until you show me your pass ” He yelled, and stuck his hands into his pocket and began whistling.
“Let them in ” I turned and saw Tae! Walking majestically to where we are.
“Sir, they don’t have a pass ” The security man said.
“I don’t repeat myself twice. Or you want to get fired? ” He asked, giving him a cold shoulder.
“Am sorry sir, you can go in now ” He said, shaking like a fish.
Hmm… He’s really the boss.
“Any time you see them, let them in and don’t ask them for their pass.” He warned and turned without looking back.
It like we didn’t exist or was he talking to another person? I looked back but no one except the three of us.
“Wait! Did the rude boy just say we should go in without our pass ?” Soo bin asked, perplexed.
“Yeah, He just did that ” I answered her.
“What came over him that he became so nice all of a sudden? ”
“I don’t know. Maybe he’s just been happy today ” I drove the scooter to the park.
We came down and walked to our class. The noise was so much.
What’s happening?
“This noise is too much. Stop everyone! ” I shouted but no one listened.
Gosh!
“The 4 days camp is going to be exciting. I can’t wait for the day” A girl said and her set of yellow teeth came out. Obviously smiling.
“I know you’re going to remember that ” Another girl said.
“Of course, why won’t I remember, on the 13th of this month .it gonna be fun.
Last year, it was superb and am sure this year, it gonna be amazing ”
She squeaked, thank God her saliva didn’t touch my skin cause the way she opened her wide mouth.
“Do you know anything about the vacation? ” I asked Soo Bin.
“Yes, it a 4-days camp. And it going to be outside the country.
The fee is expensive.” She explained.
“You go to the camp too? ”
“Nope, I really wish to go but my mom don’t have that kind of money for the camp fee ”
“Ohhh! Am not sure about that too ”
Oh! what a lie! Am going to the camp, have never been to one before. And am going to surprise Soo bin.
You know what I mean.
I dip my hand into my bag, and bought out a cardigan. Hmm.. What’s his name again? Yes Seo.
“Binnie, do you know what class is Seo? I mean one of the 4HB boys. ” I asked.
“Firstly, you called me Binnie, hmm.. I like that name and secondly, Seo is in class A and that’s Tae’s class too”
“Tae? Okay, I need to give him this ” I raised the cardigan up.
She arched her brow. “You mean this Seo cardigan? How did you get his cardigan? How come? ”
“Questions upon questions, which one do you want me to answer? I will explain everything to you when am back ” I quickly ran out of the before she asked another question.
They haven’t ring the bell so no teacher yet.
Class A wasn’t hard to get. I opened the door and searched round the class for Seo.
“Looking for me? ” I turned back and saw him leaning on the wall outside the class.
“Hmm.. I came to return this ” I stretched out my hand for him to take the cardigan but instead he dragged me inside the class.
He made me sit on a chair while he sat on the table. Tae isn’t here in the class.
He moved my hair and stuck it back, behind my ear.
“You look pretty today, don’t worry about the people in class. They know you are my guest ”
He spoke and looked at me lustfully.
What have I gotten my self into?
I wanted to stand up but he pushed me down to sit again.
He kissed my two hands but I quickly remove them.
I feel like biting his hand and slapped him hard. But Ara wants to be gentle.
