? Chapter Eight [ 8 ] ?

” I know but I have never thought of you as more than just a friend . No offense but I rather be single ”
” First of all smartie pants ,I never asked you to he my girlfriend and secondly you don’t have to date me or anything. Just kss me ” he grabbed my hand ” You are so beautiful and I can’t stop thinking about you and the taste of your lips ”
” Ethan will walk in here anytime soon . I don’t want him to think that I’m hitting on his friend while he is not around ”
” Ethan is a cool guy and I can assure you that he will understand everything . You are a big girl and you can choose whoever you wish to kss ” he grabbed my chin and slowly he made me face him ” I’m not going to force you if you don’t want to kss me .”
I stared at him straight in the eyes and I can see is guy , a guy who is willingly risking his time to be with me . Hayden may have those characteristics of a best friend but Ethan is more than just a person or a stranger in my life . He is the only reason that I’m here . He is more than just a friend in my heart but if he is pushing me away then who do I lean on ? Obviously Hayden because he is like the only person who is giving me a lot of attention in this house .
” Take your time thinking about it . I’m going to take a long hot shower ” Hayden breathed out in disappointment. I don’t want to make him go away too just like those Friends that left me in the past .
” Kss me Hayden ” I whispered and Hayden didn’t wait for no time as he grabbed me by my cheek and plastered his lips on mine . At first all I did was move my t©ngue in his mouth but he finally guided me and I was thankful for that .
” Thank you for giving me the honor of breaking your first kss ” he smiled and stood up .” I’m off to bath now !”
Hayden thinks that I’m still a vrgin and he thinks that is cool and stuff . I may be 17 years old but I have kssed more people than he has. I couldn’t just tell him the truth so I told him the opposite .
I just nodded as he walked off mumbling something I didn’t catch. I just touched my lips in curiousity. Why can’t I feel those butterflies in my stomach or something because when you get kssed you feel them . Why do I want so much of Ethan than Hayden ?.
I kssed Hayden out of desperation because I don’t want him to stop being my friend . I know that next time he will want more than a kss and I’m scared that I won’t be able to fulfill his wish then he will treat me badly . I have kept my fingers crossed that he doesn’t stop being nice to me because he is a good friend.
I quickly prepared dinner counting the hours until Ethan arrives home to taste the food I have prepared for him and Im hoping that I nailed it and I have cooked better than his maid .
” Wow , that smells real good . ” I heard a familiar voice ” You sure can cook Darling !” Hayden smacked my ass while he passed on the stove .
My whole body tensed and I stopped stirring the pot of meatballs . I may have given him permission to kss me but the touching is way out of hand but voicing out is pointless because he won’t listen like all the men i said no to .
” So how old are you Isabella ? Ethan never mentioned your age or anything ” Hayden said across the room on the kitchen table .
” Umhm….20 years old ..What about you ?” I quickly asked not wanting to draw attention to him that I lied about my actual age .
” I’m 23 years old beautiful . You are indeed a big girl . ” He smirked and I just nodded as I kept stirring the pot .
Hayden couldn’t stop talking about his family while I prepared everything . He told me that he is the only child in his family and his father is lawyer while his mother is a doctor . He comes from a very rich family and his parents warned him that he shouldn’t trust the poor people because they are always hungry for some money that’s why he ended befriending Daniel and Ethan because they are rich and famous . When he mentioned the part that he is planning on marrying a smart beautiful woman who comes from a rich family , a woman like me he said and I almost puked all over the kitchen floor . I can’t believe he regards me among the rich people .
” It’s almost six and Ethan hasn’t arrived yet . What’s taking him so long ?” I asked as I sat beside Ethan on the chair .
” He had to pick up our crazy addition , Daniel . He is crazy over some girl Ethan is dating . I find it a little stupid !” Hayden laughed .
” Ethan is dating someone right now ?” I questioned curiously hoping that she is not richer or more beautiful than me because she will mostly win over Ethan .
” Yes. Annalisa Richmond , some rich girl from a rich family . She is a little spoiled but she is a good fk though ” Hayden replied quickly while he drank up his beer .
” And how would you know that she is a good fuck if she is your friend’s girlfriend ?”
” Seriously ? That’s a simple question . Can’t you see how uptight and workaholic Ethan is . He doesn’t have time for dating so sometimes I fk Annalisa for him but I won’t be doing that from now on since you are mine ” he smirked as he tried to open up another beer .
” You should take it easy on the beers . You have to eat first before you can drink Hayden ” I pointed and stood up to take the pack of beers on the table .
” What are you ? My mom ? Geez Isabella ! Just sit down and let me enjoy my beers ” he held the pack of beers down .
” Hayden , food first then beer after . I’ may not be your mom but you can’t drink those on an empty stomach and beside you are getting drunker every minute when you drink ” I yacked the beer off his hand .
Hayden quickly stood up and grabbed my by my waist and pulled me to him as he tried to take the beer in my hand . I stretched my hand ” Stop acting like a baby Hayden !” I joked but he didn’t take that as a joke .
” You are not my mother for fuck sake now give me my beer ….!”
” Hayden let her go right now ” Ethan appeared out of nowhere with a blank expression on his face ” And Isabella , don’t disturb Hayden with his beers !” Ethan took the beer from my hand then gave it to Hayden .
” Thank you brother ” Hayden released me out of his embrace then took the pack of beers then walked out whistling .
” You shouldn’t do that to Hayden when I’m not around . He will snap and do something bad to hurt you ” Ethan warned before he walked out of the kitchen .
I quickly followed him to the door ” I prepared dinner for all of you Ethan . Won’t you eat ?” I asked .
He shoke his head no as he guided some guy upstairs without introducing me to him . I waited and waited for Ethan to come downstairs but he never did . After hours of waiting I eventually gave up and cleaned up everything and refrigerated the remaining food .
The kitchen looked spotless after I cleaned it up . I can’t believe I just wasted my whole two hours and a half to prepare everything only for no one not wish to taste my food . I just stood at the kitchen doorway with a sad smile .
” I’m sorry I didn’t show up ” my favourite voice of the day and my reason for this sadness said behind me ” Can I make it up for you ?” I turned around slowly to find Ethan staring at me and he was too close that I stumbled back but he held grabbed me by my waist and pulled me closeer to his warm body .
He was wearing pair of gray sweatpants with not shirt and dmn , the view of his chest was breath taking .
” Ethan..” I breathed out with no words to describe the moment because his touch electrified my body to a point where by I wish he could just hold me like this forever .
” I asked you a question Isabella ” he said slowly , his mintful breath blowing me away . I seriously panicked because I didn’t brush my teeth today .
” Umhm…Can we like try this tomorrow when I have brushed my teeth ” I pushed him away and
he obeyed as he stepped backwards releasing me .
” I’m sorry about that I don’t know what got into me !” He broke our stare as he stepped backwards again .” I’m going to bed ”
” Noo….it was fun . It’s just that I didn’t ..” I motioned with my fingers in my mouth . He just gave me a confusing look as he walked off shaking his head .
Damn…I just pushed him away with my stupid insecurities . I bet he smelt my breath then ran away . I have never seen that side of him and I wished I could have just kssed him or something but stupid Isabella , always have something to say screwed everything up with one insecurity .
I cried myself to sleep that I just watched an opportunity of proving Ethan that I’m better than those rich women he sees outside . I may not own diamonds or fancy clothes but I have got enough love for him in my heart and the more he looks at me the more I feel like fainting . Hayden is just another thing between my love for Ethan . I don’t want to hurt Hayden’s feelings but Ethan is the only guy I wish to be with .
? Annalisa ?
” Look Cassandra , I didn’t steal your man from you so stop calling me !” I half yelled through the line .
” You are such a spoiled whore Annalisa . You think you can have any man you want because you are rich then prepare for war from me .!” Cassandra hanged up before I could say anything .
Tears just started falling on my cheeks . I don’t understand why everyone is blaming me for Daniel’s behavior , I know I may have done something to cause that but it was a mistake . Why can’t everyone get that in their thick heads .
I sped up the car as I headed downtown to meet Ethan’s mom because she has found a solution for this thing .
When Daniel was released from hospital . He tried dragging me to his car with Ethan but I managed to escape . I have been enduring that guy for almost two days and another with him will feel like a torture . He never keeps his mouth shut and I hate that about him .
Hayden is a little bit quieter and handsome than Daniel and Ethan . Hayden knows the perfect time to say something and when he says something , you wouldn’t wish to miss it . He has this way of manipulating people to do whatever he wants and I like it and he is a great wild performer in bed . Daniel is just the opposite of Hayden and he is not bad in the bedroom so basically i slept with all of them and yah , everything is sealed up as a secret.
When I arrived at the restaurant Ethan’s mom directed me to I parked my car and quickly ran inside because the rain was pouring a little hard .
” What took you so long Annalisa ? And why are you wet ?” Ethan’s Mother asked as she gave me a look .
” Its raining outside woman and I forgot my umbrella at home so what did you expect !” I held up my hands in surrender .
Ethan’s mom just smiled and took a sip of her juice ” You are such a drama queen . !” She exclaimed and I gave her a dead look ” I’m joking Annalisa stop looking at me .”
” Whatever so have you talked to the witch doctor ?” I shit back quickly ” This better be good !”
” Well , of course I talked to him and he said wiill prepare another bottle of the love potion by tonight and i should fetch it tomorrow !” She smiled proudly .
” I don’t want another love potion please . I just need a solution for Daniel’s behavior because he is driving me nuts ”
” Well if you want my help getting rid off Daniel then you need to try the love potion on Ethan again ”
” What ? Your son can marry anyone he wants and I’m not interested . All I need is to help me out with Daniel ”
” Look Annalisa , I chose the perfect bride for my son and that bride is you . Don’t forget about what you did last year ?” She leaned in and stared straight in my eyes ” A crime is a crime and any human being deserves Justice !” She brushed my hand.
I thought Ethan’s mom was trustworthy and kind but I thought wrong . She is a poisonous snake inside and she is blackmailing me right now using my past as her advantage . I hate that she knows my worst secrets .
” Okay . What’s your plan then ?” I sighed in defend .
” That’s my girl . ” She beamed ” After we have killed Daniel then the love potion will work on Ethan !”
” Come on… don’t we have another solution than killing Daniel ?” I asked in annoyance . I may not like Daniel but killing him is not part of my intentions .
” The witch doctor told me that it’s the only option Annalisa . We have to kill Daniel in two days time so that the love potion can work on Ethan ”
” I can’t okay ? Killing a person right now is the last thing on my mind . Let’s find another way to solve this !”
” There’s no other way than this Annalisa so take this …” She took something out of her bag and handed it to me ” it’s a rat poison . It will kill him slowly and the doctors won’t suspect anything about his death !”
” But does it have to be me doing the hard work ? . Why can’t you do it ? ” I whined . ” This is not fair !”
” If you really want your past not to catch up with you then you will make sure that Daniel dies before the end of this week Annalisa ” she quickly stood up ” Make me proud my future daughter-in-law !”
