? Chapter Nine [ 9 ] ?

After what happened last time in the kitchen with Isabella I just couldn’t bring myself to face her so i have been ignoring her for the past few days to cool my guilt down a little . I feel as If I took an advantage on her and this thing is killing me .
She is too Young and I’m I’m older , I am the one who is supposed to stay away from her because she has been through a lot but I keep dragging myself closer to her .
” You have been standing at the same spot for the last few minutes ” Hayden took a sit on the high chair beside the kitchen counter .” You are freaking me out a little !” He mumbled as he took a sip of his coffee .
” I’m fine Hayden . I can’t stop thinking about someone right now and this person is driving me insane ” I touched my head slightly as I also sat across him .
” Is it a girl ? Because I have never seen you like that before . It’s like there is more you are not telling me ”
” Don’t give me your psychological evaluation . Yes , it’s because of a girl I’m like this and I don’t know what to do .”
” Trust me , it’s not that easy when she lives at the same house as you . I’m also going through that .”
” What do you mean by that ? ” I nervously stared at him as he stirred his coffee looking ahead as if he is lost in some thoughts .
” Don’t freak out okay ? But me and Isabella have been hitting everything up a little !” He smirked” We haven’t got to the sex part but I thought it was only fair if I told you before I can , like before I break her vrgnity because you are her relative ”
” What ? You two have been doing some sxual stuff behind my back especially when I wasn’t around ?” I asked in frustration but trying by all means to calm down .
“‘Come on Ethan ! Stop being an idi©t . It’s not like I forced her into kssing me or something ” Hayden pointed out looking annoyed by my reaction .
I sighed softly ” You know what ? I don’t care what you do with Isabella . She is a big girl . She knows what she is doing . You two are adults !”
“That’s my buddy and anyway who is that girl you were talking about earlier on who is driving you insane ?” Hayden shot back quickly .
” It’s nothing Hayden . I was just hallucinating or something because of the short hours of sleep ” i covered my face with my hands as I thought of the big betrayal Isabella has done to me . ” You should pass by my office and inform them that they should go on without me .I’m not feeling very well today ” I stood up slowly .
” Are you sure about that ? You looked perfectly fit earlier on . What’s wrong ?” Hayden stood up and held me by my waist ” Let me help you get into your bed !”
I just nodded in agreement and Hayden slowly helped me climb the stairs to my room without saying a word . My head is pounding and my stomach hurts. I don’t know what’s wrong with me , maybe it’s because I haven’t eaten in days that I’m always drinking coffee to avoid sleeping Early . I’m working my a$$ off for my father whilst he is at home doing nothing but he receives money every month .
” I will tell Isabella to make some soup for you . It will help okay !” Hayden patted my back as i lied down on the bed without saying anything .
I wonder if anyone in this world appreciate me as a whole . I always work my a$$ off to provide for my family and friends but they don’t seem not to care and for once I thought Isabella appreciated me heartely but I guess she didn’t as she kept kssing my best friend while I wasn’t around . What else did they do behind my back that I don’t know about because I’m tired of secrets .
Hayden has been my best friends for years and I know him very well especially when he is lying . If they have been kssing and shit for the passed few weeks then I mostly suspect that Hayden has already slept with Isabella . I just couldn’t bring myself to ask Hayden so right now I have kept my fingers crossed that they didn’t get intimate .
It has been a long rough week , Annalisa has been coming over here non-stop wanting to spent time with Daniel but when it comes to her cooking for anyone in the house we gladly forbiddened her because of what happened . She no longer visits like before which is a good thing . I hate to see one of my friend’s goes crazy over Annalisa . The doctor is still on the case and he had been looking through history files trying to figure out what really happened to Daniel .
Daniel isn’t allowed to go outside alone so sometimes Isabella or Hayden accompany him and he has grown out of it even though sometimes he cried out for Annalisa but he is finally getting used of not seeing her everyday and well , I haven’t seen Cassandra since that day . I wonder what she has been busy with lately because that’s so unlike her , to disappeare this long .
” Hello , Can I come in ?” Isabella knocked softly on the door bringing me back to reality . ” Ethan , Are you alright ?” She creaked the door open .
” Sure , You may come in Isabella ” I replied quickly and sat back on my bed.
She stepped in wearing a long black dress with her hair pulled down . That surprised me the most was that she had makeup on her face and it’s my first time seeing her like this , it made her look so grown up. I looked away quickly not wanting her to catch me staring.
” Hayden told me that you are feeling a little sick so I made a nice hot soup for you . ” She held out the bowl of soup for me to take ” It will surely get you out of bed soon ” she smiled brightly .
” Thank you .” I took it and placed it on the tray of milk next to me . Hayden gave me some milk before he left and I haven’t been able to drink any of it .
” Is the something bothering you Ethan ? You look a little stressed out” Isabella pulled a chair and sat down facing me ” I bet you could use some company . I have put Daniel in bed ”
” Thank you for helping out with Daniel Isabella . I know I promised that I will help you but it seems like you are the one helping me out here !”
” No , it’s fine and beside I owe you a big favor for saving me that day . ” She giggled ” Do you like me better in makeup or without makeup ?” She pointed at her face .
I looked at her carefully , trying my best not to shout out . ” You look better without makeup !” I gave her a small smile .
” Thank you . I was worried that you won’t like it but I’m glad that makeup suites me even though natural beauty is my style ”
” Isabella ?” She leaned in on the chair and stared at me ” Are you sleeping with Hayden ?” I breathed out in relief that I finally asked her and her face Changed instantly .
She stared at me in shock . Days has turned into weeks since Isabella arrived here and I actually suspected something between Hayden and Isabella but the thought of them sleeping together never took a big hole in my heart .
” Answer me please ” I choked out in desperation praying that she doesn’t tell me the opposing of what im dying to hear .
” Ethan…” She trailed off”Its not what you think it is . It was just one time . I didn’t want to do it but it just happened ” she sobbed out.
” Did he rappe you ? because from the looks of it , you freely agreed to have sx with him Isabella so don’t tell me that you didn’t want to do it .”
” Ethan please , I feel bad that I did it okay ? I was scared that if I said no he would stop being my friend ” she whispered .
” So that’s how you make friends Isabella ? Through sx ? Are you kidding me? . Get out of my room right now because I’m not interested in having you right now . !” I sneered and she flinched . So she came in here thinking that I will gladly have sx with her in order to be her friend. Seriously , that’s disgusting .
” Its not like that Ethan …….. I didn’t sleep with him…we just …” She wept but I stood up from my bed and pulled her out of my room before I did something Stupid ” I’m sorry !” That’s what she said before I slammed the door in her face .
It has been weeks since I gave Isabella a roof above her head and some decent food because she was poor and sad but how did she repay me ? By sleeping with my best friend . I trusted her , I thought she wasn’t like those girls I dated in the past that didn’t open up to any guy they meet but she proved me wrong . She has showed me once again that no woman is trustworthy
I sacrificed my time and energy for Isabella . I even hid her away from my family and Annalisa because they would find something to shame her with . I protected her from the evilness of richness that poor people endure but she took all of my kindness and generosity to her advantage and did something that I prayed not to happen again .
