*CAMILLE’S POV*

I woke up feeling a bit weak and rolled on the bed tiredly.

I sat up on the bed and remembered I was still in the guest room.

I remembered last night and my eyes widened and I jumped up.

Wow!!, did that really happen?!

He looked really shocked and when I brought out the kn1fe, his expression was priceless.

Annie really helped because without her, I wouldn’t have stood up to Asher. But, am still wondering, does she know about Asher for her to say stuffs like that.

Or she did know and she want me to stand up to myself like that.

“Thank you, Annie. Thank you!” I said to myself grinning and realizing I sound and look funny and crazy right now, I sat back on the bed.

Now, I have the perfect plan. The perfect plan to get rid of Asher, forever.

I clasp my hand together and smirks evilly. “You are so dead, Asher Lopez!”

I took my bath in the guest room and after dressing up, I exit the room. It was past 9 already and I know Asher would have gone to work and he have truly gone to work.

The first place I went to was the kitchen and I quickly prepared something for myself.

After eating, I retired to the living room to continue watching the K-drama. Fk Asher for interrupting yesterday.

It was around 2pm, Asher started calling me. I didn’t pick and continue with my movie.

My phone beeped. I checked it, it was a message from Asher.

FROM ASHER: Are you crazy? Pick my call now!

I dropped my phone leaving him on seen. When he is tired, he is going to leave me alone.

My phone beeped again.

FROM ASHER: you are lucky am at work right now. I need you to pick my call. I can’t leave work. Camille, you are so dead if you don’t pick.

Almost immediately, it started calling again and this time around, I didn’t let it ring, instead I cut the call.

A message came in from him again.

FROM ASHER: now, am convinced you are mad. Anyways, my mom is coming over today, she can come at any time..be in your best behavior or you won’t like what am going to do to you. Goodbye.

I scoffed after reading. He just made everything more easier for me.

Who cares about his mother. His mother probably taught him to lay his hand on his wife.

They are both going to hear from me.

Later that evening…
I was at the last season of the movie when I started dozing off. Have been in front of the Tv for hours. My eyes are so weak right now and all I need is a nap.

I stood up to get milk from the kitchen when the doorbell started ringing.

That should be Asher’s mom. Perfect!

I hurriedly roughened my hair and then rubbed my hand on my face, removed my earrings and then walked towards the door as the doorbell kept ringing.

I opened the door revealing Asher’s mom. She was dressed classily in a long red gown with gold designs on it and a big earring and you really don’t want me to talk about her Make up.

“Oh welcome”. I said casually.

She looked a bit taken back. Is she Expecting me to hug her or what?
Hell no!

“Camille?” She called to be sure it me.

I quickly wiped my face with my hand. “Wow, it you. Am happy you are here” I said and hugged her.

She signed in relief.
“Please come in” I told her and she came in carrying a huge traveling bag like she is planning to spend a month or so.

She entered and looked around. “It been long I visited” she said sitting on the couch.

“Yeah. And I missed you like so much” I faked a smile.

“What would you like to eat?” I added.
I don’t know why but her presence annoys me. I really like her but Asher just made me hate her. She gave birth to Asher after all. I have no reasons to like her.

“Am not hungry for now. I ate on my way here. Looks like you have changed. Why is your hair this way?”

“My hair? What is a hair?” I asked looking confused and she arched a brow.

“Camille, what wrong with you?” She asked and I pretend to snap back again.

“Oh my hair….” I said touching my hair. “I was about treating it when you came”

“Oh..okay.”

“I will take your things to the guest room” I told her and she nodded. On my way, I turned back and sure enough, I saw her staring intently at me suspiciously.

I faced my front and then smiled satisfactory. Yeah, my plan is working.

I got to the guest room and taking a deep breath, I went back to the living room. She already switched on the tv and watching a Philippine movie.

I went to the kitchen and started preparing dinner. About 10 minutes later, I heard her footsteps coming close to the kitchen and I quickly placed my phone in my ear faking a call when I saw she was close to the kitchen already.

“Hello, I told you to send me the drugs yesterday and I didn’t receive anything. My mother in law is here. I had no idea she is going to come today”

I kept quiet for 10 seconds then continued,” What the hell are you talking about. Am already seeing the effects. And if care is not taken, my mother in law is going to find out about it and I don’t want her to hate me alright. I need the drugs early tomorrow because if these continues, you do know the effects is really bad and I don’t need to remind you what happened to the person that was with me the last time it got worst”
“Yeah okay, I will be expecting it. Okay bye” I said them removed my phone from my ear.
