The next day, Georgia woke up in a dreary state and her whole demeanor screamed standoffishness

Dylan had gone to go to work but knowing how and what the day was gonna be like for her, he dropped a note for her beside the bed

Dylan also instructed Kreme to stay and go with Georgia, wherever she would want to go to

Georgia smiled for the first time that morning when she read Dylan’s note

Her phone rang out immediately
“Hey”
She said

“My little cat, I know today is gonna take a toll on you but just stay strong, I’m sorry I wouldn’t be able to accompany you but when you’re back, let me know and I’ll take you wherever you want to be”
Dylan promised

“Alright sweetheart, I will but next time, you’ll go with me, okay?

“sure, we’ll go next time as husband and wife”

Dylan uttered huskily and Georgia felt her cheeks flame up and for few seconds she didn’t know what to say

Dylan chuckled at her silence
“Alright love, I’ll hang up now”

The call ended.

Momentarily forgetting about the melancholy she woke up with, Georgia decided to go make breakfast before going to visit her mother that morning

“Good morning Kreme”
Georgia acknowledged Kreme who was currently eating a cake, the same cake they made last night

Kreme almost choked on the piece he was chewing on and quickly looked away from Georgia.

He planned on having a few bites and leave unnoticed but now his miss had caught him red handed

“G-Good morning Miss”
He stuttered with flaming cheeks that got Georgia laughing

At first, she didn’t understand why Kreme’s face looked funny but now she understood why

“Don’t worry, it’s our cake, you can feel free to eat it”
Georgia assured.
