Raymond screamed Georgia’s name over the phone but the line went broke at once

Due to the impact, Georgia’s car tumbled over and laid upside down with the continually beeping in the car

The Van driver didn’t get too much impact and immediately drove away with full speed

BI.ood.

BI.ood trickled down Georgia’s forehead and downwards
Her eyes were hazy and everywhere seemed blurry

She felt a dull ache coming from….

From where?…. ah her belly….

But she didn’t have the energy to scream or even move her body as she was upside down, trapped between the seatbelt and car seat

Kreme…
She painstakingly turned her head and Kreme was right beside her, still in his seat and trapped just like she was but their difference was that, his face was much much more bI.oody and his eyes were closed..

Kreme
She whispered but her voice couldn’t be heard and that was when she realized that she wasn’t saying the name out loud
it was only her mind

She could feel liquid trickling in her thighs and her heart stopped beating

My baby…

Kreme’s eyes fluttered open
“Miss”

He was able to whisper

“I’m sorry I couldn’t protect you and the baby”
For the first time, Georgia saw Kreme cry as tears rolled down his cheeks

Georgia tried to shake her head disagreement, she wanted to tell him that he had always been a source of encouragement to her in difficult times

Though he was just doing his job but he had done more
taken care of her like a sister, standing up for her
accompanying her all the time but Georgia couldn’t say all those as she was drained

Kreme smiled and said
“ahh I didn’t finish the cake we made (laughs with tears)”

He felt his consciousness slipping away

Georgia wanted to say that they can go home later and finish it and even make more but her damned throat wouldn’t even give way for the words to come

The last thing Kreme said before loosing consciousness was

“Sister”

His heart stopped beating as he seeped into an eternal rest.

Tears flowed from Georgia’s eyes as she felt an immeasurable pain in her lower abdomen before Loosing consciousness.

“What are you talking about? you should have asked that before accepting the job, anyways…..

I’ve sent you the remaining amount, lay low in another country to avoid getting caught”

“B-but my boss is powerful and will protect me”
the man panicked

Vanessa rolled her eyes
Of course her cousin is powerful but Dylan is more powerful
