“How did this happen?
Damien asked, anger laced in his tone

Louise stared at him but didn’t say a word

Ever since she woke up, she hadn’t spoken a word and would just stare into space like nothing else existed around her

Damien had wanted to inquire from Ryan but the man brought Louise to the hospitality only for him to rush out again.

Damien sighed
Right now, Louise looked like a lost soul

“I’ll leave you now but I’ll be back later”

He said and stretched forth his hand to pat her hair only for Louise to jerk away slightly, avoiding his touch as if wary of him

“I’m I’m sorry”
He said and stared at her for some time before leaving with a sigh

Immediately Damien left, a small figure rushed into the room and engulfed Louise in a tight hug, Louise didn’t back away from the hug this time

“I’ll kll whosever did this to you Louise”

Velvet uttered with anger and when Louise sniffed, she patted her back lovingly

“I’m glad he came on time”
She added as she broke the hug

“How did you know what happened?
Louise’s voice softly and hoarsely rang out, she looked at her sister, waiting for her reply

Velvet had a sad face
“Ryan told me about it, he let me know what happened and I had to leave school immediately”

Though Ryan told her, her sister’s situation, he didn’t mention the cause of it

Hearing Ryan’s name, Louise’s finger twitched slightly and she responded with a “hmmm”

“If I had known this would happen last night, you wouldn’t have gone back to that job!
Velvet said with regret

“Seriously Ryan, you need to tell me what happened”

Damien asked in his office while Ryan sat opposite him with a dark gloom over his head

“She fucking wants to ruin my life Damien! Why can’t she just stop, after breaking my heart long ago.

I finally moved on with my life and now she wants to take away something so important to me!
Ryan asked bitterly

Had it been they arrived a moment late last night, Louise’s life would have been ruined and she wouldn’t be able to be with him
He knew Louise to know that if something like that happens, she would shut herself in her shell and never let him in again

“What are you talking about? Anabella was the only girl who broke your heart so how did Louise break yours?

Damien asked puzzled which made Ryan roll his eyes at the man’s low IQ

“Annabella did all this to Louise, she hired some thugs to kidnap Louise and r*** her while keeping it on tape”

“What the…????
Damien was shocked
The girl is that evil?

“Poor Louise, does she know yet?
He asked and Ryan shook his head

“Well you really need to go see her in there Ryan, she’s totally broken, I bet the incident left a huge mark on her and could traumatize her”

Ryan said nothing but his eyes said it all

Damien could see that Ryan had fallen too hard for Louise, the legendary playboy was nowhere to be seen anymore and he was happy about it

Though fate was playing gambles with them, they were sure going to overcome it all, as long as there’s love right?

Damien shook his head.
His watching of Love story movies is having a toll on him
He’s now thinking like an experienced love story writer. sigh.
