After properly identifying themselves to a confused and skeptical Mrs Bradford, they bundled an unconscious Jeremy out of the compound.
Mrs Bradford soon located the hospital her daughter had been taken to, and was peering into Vivian’s pale face, tears streaming down her face, as she prayed silently for her to wake up soon.
She had arrived the hospital in time to meet the doctor asking Pascal to sign a consent column as he had presumed him to be her husband.
And not only had he signed so quickly before she got a chance to correct the doctor’s mistake, he was screaming at the doctor to get on with the bI?õd transfusion immediately.
She was later to find out that he had donated bI?õd needed for an immediate transfusion, because according to the doctor, Vivian had lost so much bI?õd.
Mrs. Bradford could tell that the man felt way beyond what a concerned neighbour would ordinarily feel, but something about how he paced to and fro, something about how he looked so worried and afraid each time he looked at Vivian, made her look at him again with suspicion.
Why was he acting so afraid? Why did it seem he was even more afraid of Vivian’s condition than her?
She was lost in thought, afraid for her daughter’s life, but confused about Pascal’s strange behaviour.
He had even been so restless he didn’t allow the doctors attend to his wound.
“Oh God! Why do I have to always watch in helplessness? This mustn’t go the way the other went. No it can’t.
I haven’t even been able to tell her how I feel! !” He complained as he came to Vivian’s sides.
“Vivian, I know you’re far away, but somehow, I feel you right here besides me. I’m sorry I wasn’t there a second earlier.
I’m sorry I didn’t take care of that nu!sance, when I should have. But above all Vivian, I’m sorry I don’t tell you how much I love you.
Even though I’ve been fighting it these past days, yes I’ve been trying to be double check to see if it wasn’t pity I was having for you, but Vivian, this man here, loves you.
You see, my heart hasn’t been able to stay a second without the thoughts of you tugging it. Please come back to us, come back to Daisy and your mum.
I know it’s kinda selfish of me, but I need you to come back for me!” he cried besides her bed, holding her free hand in his.

Elsewhere, Leonard was talking with Valerie about how fantastic and successful their engagement party had been. His mother had even attended!
He knew the paparazzi were going to be everywhere, they were already more like a celebrity pair, but he never expected his mother to show up.
She had been skeptical about his new relationship with Valerie, and had been complaining about her superficial lifestyle, and how having being so spoilt as a last child in a super rich family, she may not be able to make a good wife.
According to her, she was imagining he was just being with her to get over his hurt and disappointment with Vivian’s departure, but when he told her he was going to make the big move, she totally objected.
An excuse so flimsy that Leonard didn’t make his head bother about her for a moment
After he went ahead to make the proposal, his mother found out about it on social media.
And even though she still wanted to object, she could see her son was bent on going into the forever journey with her.
The last thing she wanted to do was strain the relationship between herself and her first son, so she had to quickly align with the soon to be couple.
And indeed, the engagement party was an awesome one, one that would be talked about for a long time to come
It wasn’t just one of those engagement.parties where people show off wealth, it was an extravagantly organized party quite alright, but the love between the two pairs could be sensed all over the large hall used for the event.
