Vivian’s POV
“Calm down Vivian” Damon said and pulled me into a warm hug as I cried in his arms.
“I will leave the both of you tomorrow and please, I have just one favor” she said going on her knees.
“You can do anything to my Dad but please don’t kill him” She begged.
“Alright” Damon said and Melissa muttered thanks before running out.
“It will be fine, I will be here to protect you” Damon said cuddling me up.
Melissa POV
I went back downstairs with my bahs and looked at the both if them, they deserve each other.
“I wish you good luck in your relationship, I really do” I said and ran out.
Vivian POV.
“We are ending this today Damon, call back Melissa. I will make sure I get her Dad but I won’t kill him” I said standing up.
“But will Melissa even want anything that will harm her dad” Damon asked and he’s right.
“He knows where I am so definitely his men will be around here, this is the plan”
“You get your guards about fifty, we need as much guards we can get, then when they are around, you leave the house. Definitely Mr Jones men will try attacking me then your own guards come in”
“This is quite risky” he said.
“Yeah but we don’t have another option” I said.
“Okay” Damon muttered and took his phone.
He placed a call to his guards, I think.
“They will be around this place in ten minutes” he said.
Damon POV
After a while, I got a message from my chief guard.
‘They are there’ the message read.
“They are around” I said.
“Time for you to leave” Craziee said.
“I love you, stay safe for me” I said and pecked her forehead.
“Tell Roxanne about this when you get out” she said and I walked out.
I hopped into my car, breathed in and out then drove out.
And guess what? Craziee was right, they were really some men hanging around.
I drove till I got to a point where there was no guys hanging around. I pulled the car to an halt but stayed in the car praying silently.
I pray she’s safe.
Vivian POV
I closed my eyes immediately I heard them break in. This was exactly how it ten years ago but this time I will be the one to win.
I was in the wardrobe cuddling myself up. I might die and I might not. I heard some people fighting.
Definitely Damon’s men were here too. After a while I began to hear gunshots.
Sht! They are going to kill themselves? Oh no!
Ten minutes later, everywhere was quite, I waited for five minutes more before stepping out of the wardrobe.
They were three injured people on the floor. Seems like we won.
I heard the cocking of a gun and turned back but it was too late.
Damon POV
Geez! I can’t wait here anymore, I have to join them too. I drove back home speedily and it was already a mess.
“Where are they?” I asked.
“We captured them, they are in the car” one guard replied.
“Where’s Craziee?” I asked.
“We don’t know her” he replied and I ran into the mansion.
“Craziee” I yelled looking for her.
What happened? Why can’t I find her? Then I saw her, she was sobbing badly.
“What’s wrong?” I asked worriedly
“Mum, I saw it again, the way the man shot her, I saw it again” she cried and I pulled her closer to me.
“Look, that’s all over now. We won” I said.
“Yes, we won!!” She yelled wiping her tears.
