Vivian POV
I laid my head on his chest while he played with my hair, there was an uncomfortable silence between us till he broke it with an uncomfortable question.
“May….may I touch you?” He asked.
“You are touching me already” I said and he nodded.
I know what he meant but I am not sure I want to let him have my body yet.
The next day
Melissa POV
I drove to my dad’s house angrily, I know Dad is going to have a solution to this, he’s going to talk to Damon.
I alighted from the car and walked in. Dad was watching a Television show. I sat beside him muttering ‘good day’.
“What’s wrong?” He asked, his gaze still on the Television.
“Damon is dating another girl” I said.
“Okay, let me see her pictures” he requested.
I brought out my phone and showed Dad the pictures of Vivian, I had taken the pictures when Vivian didn’t notice.
“This is the girl?” Dad asked and I nodded.
“Yes, she’s the one” I replied.
“How old is she?” Dad asked.
“I don’t know exactly, I think she’s 23” I guessed.
“I have some of her younger pictures” I added.
“Show it to me” Dad demanded and I showed it to him.
“She’s really the one” Dad muttered.
“Dad, do you know her?” I asked.
“You said she’s Damon’s girlfriend, right?” Dad asked and I nodded.
“You have to find away to bring her out of that house tomorrow or you can call when Damon leaves” Dad said.
“Way are you going to do to her?” I asked.
“Kill her, I have been searching for this stupid girl for 10 years now” Dad seethed then laughed.
“She dies, then you get your Damon” Dad said.
“But how did you know her?” I asked curiously.
“Her parents, I was their lawyer and they willed everything they had to that little girl. I had to kill her parents but I couldn’t find her, if she surfaces now, she’s going to claim everything we have” he explained.
“Why are you the one they gave her properties to?” I asked.
“Her parents trusted me and asked me to be in charge of everything till she’s 20 and thanks fully she doesn’t have family members as far as I know” Dad said and I nodded.
So Vivian is the owner of all these, my dad stole her wealth away from her and now I am about to take the love of her life away from her.
Is this fair?
Vivian POV.
“What are you going to use an aquarium for?” Damon asked.
“You said Melissa loves swimming after she comes back form anywhere” I said.
“Yeah” he replied.
“Let’s see her face when the goddess of the sea comes to her” I said with a smirk.
“You silly queen of pranks” Damon said and hit my hand playfully.
“Ouch! It hurts!” I cried.
“Ugh? Did I hit you so hard?” He asked.
“I….I got injured when cooking for Melissa” I said and saw him go red with anger.
“I am so sorry about that, I am going to kill her. I will get the first aid box” he said worriedly and turned to leave but I held his arm.
He looked at me and I winked at him before laughing.
“You looked like an old puppy” I said laughing.
“Hey, that’s a prank?” He asked..
“What else do you expect from the queen of Pranks?” I asked and he tickled me.
“Stop…. Stop…Da..Damon stop” I said amidst laughter then I heard a car pulling over.
“It’s action time” I said and ran off to my room.
“You better tell the truth and leave this house cause Vivian is not someone you can toy with” I said with another voice, i recorded into a tape.
Yeah, I need her to tell the truth about what really happened between her and Damon.
I gave the tape to Damon.
“Few seconds after she jumps into the pool, play this” I said and he collected it from me.
“Show time” I said and went to the pool, I wore the aquarium and dipped my legs or should I say my tail into the pool.
Immediately I saw Melissa approaching me, I slipped into the pool before she could see me.
She jumped into the pool and my voice started playing. My back was facing her as I gently moved the aquarium like a real mermaid.
Melissa POV
“You better tell the truth and leave this house cause Vivian is not someone you can toy with” I heard a voice say and I shook.
It was a strange voice but I shrugged it off. Just as I was about swimming, I saw something under the pool.
Help me!! It’s a mermaid!! Vivian is a wtch!! How does she know that I know the truth?!!
I panicked as I saw the mermaid swimming towards me gently with her back still facing me.
I brought my head out of the water and screamed.
I passed out
