The first queen, Adams’s mother went into her room again and sent everyone out, she chanted a spell and changed into someone else then a door appears in front of her and she entered
The goddess was making lighting when she noticed that her sister was coming she quickly hid it
“Hello sister,” the queen said
“For how long do I have to stay here?” Aphrodite asked
“Your choice, if you cry now I will let you go,” she replied
“Why are you asking for the impossible? You desperately want my tears why not go and take my son’s own, it’s in his bI.ood,” she replied
“I don’t know if he’s chosen by the moon and sun, you were chosen and I wasn’t so I don’t know if he was also chosen or not,” she said
“You can’t keep me here forever hope you know that?” Aphrodite asked
“We will see, just wait until you see what I have already prepared for him,” the queen replied going out
“Your de.ath is near,” her sister shouted after her
“You’re powerless so stop talking and save the strength,” the queen replied and left
Aphrodite tried to follow her but the black Magic was strong, the force from it throws her backward
She went back and continue forming the lightening ball since that was the only thing she can do

NIGHT*
THE BROWN HOME
Mr. Brown came back from work and went into the house, Karan runs towards him and hugged him tightly
“Daddy,” she called
He was surprised and shocked at the same time, he thought maybe it will take days for his daughter to accept him again, but here she is hugging him tightly
He was filled with joy, he looked forward to seeing his wife staring at him with a smile
“Gosh I love this woman, she always has a way to surprise me, I don’t think I will ever stop loving this woman,” he thought silently
“My beautiful beauty,” he said and stroked Karan’s head
“I love you, daddy, so much,” she said still hugging him
“I love you more than anything, I love you all equally okay? You’re my sunshine and I will protect you, your mum, and your siblings, okay?” he said
“You people are sharing hugs and no one called me,” Olivia said from nowhere and jumped on her father’s back
“What about me?” Eddy asked and join the hug
Seeing that their mother was not among, Eddy went to her and grab her hands then start pulling her over
“Hugs,” they all shouted except for one person which is Mrs. Brown, even though she was smiling, behind that smile was sadness

Karan’s Room*
Mrs. Brown knock on the door and open it, Karan who was dressing up quickly hid her makeup
“Going out?” Her mother asked and sit in her bed
“Nope… I mean yes… Em… No,” she replied awkwardly
Mrs. Brown laughed at her
“Karan you’re 18 so let’s talk like adults,” she said
“Huh,” Karan said
“Okay let’s say am 18, I used to sneak out when I was a teenager,” her mother start
“To have sx?” She asked
Mrs. Brown’s eyes widen

SAME NIGHT*
River and Adam could be seen running away through the bushes, even though River told the king the makeup story he still ordered his guards to fIog Adam
His body was filled with bruises and bI.ood stain
“Adam what are you doing? We need to get away from here before they will find us,” the younger one said
“River we need to rest, am tired,” Adam replied and sat on the floor
River sat beside him and they embraced each other
“No matter what happens Adam we will always be brothers and I will always protect you, and even if am not around don’t be scared in times of difficulty cos I might not always be around you,” River said
“Are you leaving me too? Am I going to be alone now?” Adam asked
No, I will never leave you Adam, we are brothers and we will always stay together” River replied.
Just then they heard voices coming their way and sprang up immediately
“This way,” River said running forward
Cos of the injury Adam has on his leg, he wasn’t able to run fast, and River, on the other hand, was still running trying to find a better place they can hide when he get to a cliff. Everywhere was dark that he didn’t notice the cliff and next, he missed his step and went falling.
“Adam!!!!!!” he called loudly, luckily enough for him he grabbed hold of a tree branch
The guards coming after them heard the voice and start tracing it. Adam on the other hand also heard the voice and increase his steps thinking that something bad might have happened
He got to the cliff to see River holding onto a tree branch and hanging on a cliff
“River!!!” he called shocked, and startee pulling him
“Adam help me, pull strongly,” River said with teary eyes
Cos Adam hasn’t eaten in days he wasn’t able to pull him out, he wasn’t going to give up either so he continued pulling. Seeing that he wasn’t making any effort, River started crying.
“Adam!!!” River called with teary eyes as his hand started to slip
“River, I can do it, I just need to pull strongly,” Adam said sobbing and still trying to pull his brother out
Seeing that the tree branch was about to brake and that means the two of them will die if the tree broke, River suddenly let go.
“RIVER!!!!!!!” Adam shouted staring at his brother who was going down
“No oo ooh!!!” He shouted with all his strength
“RIVER!!!!!!” He yelled loudly
