MAMA, I MADE IT!?
Episode 29.

Every day was fun with Sonia and Success.
Sonia particularly spoiled us with shoppings that I feared it may land us into trouble.
I also used the opportunity to spend time with my mom, but she didn’t waste even a second to know something was wrong when she saw me which I just smiled assuring her I’m okay.
2 weeks went too fast and before we knew it, we were already at the hostel.
Despite the girls welcoming us, I was not happy but I pretended to be.
Success helped with our bags inside and we breathed in looking round the room,
“So finally we are back? I asked.
“Yea and there’s a lot for you girls to catch up with in school, I know you can, Success replied and I nodded.
“Thank you so much, you made the holiday fun for us, maybe we can spend our next vacation there again, Charity said.
“Hell no! That’s not a resort or something. Thank you Success, I said.
“You’re welcome and I wish you a successful exams, he said.
“Thank you, we said and he checked his time.
“Okay I have to run along now, take care girls, he said and we escorted him to his car and returned after he drove off.
I sat on the bed with a sad look and Charity folded her arms looking at me,
“You’re missing him already huh? She asked and I nodded.
“But I don’t get it, we spent 2 good weeks with him and he never acted like he wants you or something, how is he really seeing you? Charity asked and I heaved.
“Girlfriend I don’t know, maybe I’m just a friend or like a sister to him, or maybe I’m just wasting my time loving someone who doesn’t see me that way, I replied and she sat down beside Me.
“What if you talk to him about this? Its just too long nau so you’ll know your stand, she said and I shook my head.
“No way I Can’t do that, how is he going to see me when I ask such a question? Its embarrassing, I said.
“Then you’ll continue to be this way huh? I would have asked him girlfriend, I can’t afford to waste my feelings then find out I was only a sister to him. Gosh that will be the worst heart break ever, why not open up to him instead, she said and I looked at her.
“By the way, you haven’t showed me any guy or is there no one you are crushing on? I asked turning the table to her and she smirked.
“Crushing ke? I only crush on celebrities, big ones for that matter, she replied and I laughed.
“This your small head just like going too far, I said hitting her.
“Leave me abeg, she said and the girls began to come in to say hi and talk about Alfred who was the latest gist in school now………..

Our exams for the last semester began, and on the day we had our last paper, Success decided to visit knowing we will take off the next day or so especially Charity.
“Big girls, like a joke you’ll be in your 400levels, Success said as he took us out.
“Yea you can say that again, I’m already feeling like a graduate, Charity said.
“You wish, I said.
“What’s your own na? She asked hitting me.
“Abeg abeg I’m having headache don’t add to it, I said.
“Are you serious? I’ll go get you water, Success said and left before I could anything and Charity looked at me and smiled.
“You’re feeling uncomfortable seeing him huh? Una no get sense sha, why hide feelings and be suffering? Charity asked.
“Shut up, I said when I saw Success coming and Charity pretended to cough and got the water from him gulping it down.
“Thank you, Purity is not thirsty anymore, Charity said looking at me.
“Is that true? But I hope the headache isn’t severe? He asked and i nodded having no choice and knowing who Charity is.
“Yes i can manage, I said and Charity cleared her throat and sat up smiling at Success.
“So Success I’ve been wanting to ask, where is your girlfriend? Sorry i forgot we are your girlfriends but who….. No where is your Babe? Like your main babe….. Sorry your ermm……..”date? He cut in.
“Yes date, pardon me I didn’t know how to put it, so who is she? Charity asked and I felt like crying.
I had constant headache and wondered how I got to meet Charity in the first place.
Success was only laughing at the question and I saw Charity wanted asking again but I pinched her.
“Ouch! Why nau Purity? Is it wrong to know Success girlfriend? Charity asked it loud and I quickly took the glass of juice pretending to drink with my heart beating fast.
“There is no date, Success replied.
“But why? You’re educated, handsome, rich, smart and everything a lady will love to have in a guy, what’s keeping you then? Or are you gay? Charity dropped.
“Jesus Charity! I shouted.
“What! Charity shouted back.
“Its okay girls it wasn’t a bad question, he said.
“Thank you, Charity said and I cleaned my face.
“Purity are you okay? He asked which I can’t tell how I was feeling that instant and i didn’t know if it was so obvious he could see I wasn’t okay.
“yes she is, Charity replied rather.
“Please excuse me, I said and left them going outside to receive fresh air.
“Purity put yourself together and stop this, stop this okay and be focus, I talked to myself trying to calm My nerves and returned back to them.
“Are you okay? Success asked again.
“I told you I’m fine, i said forcing a smile and brought out a discussion to wave aside what Charity started…………

Reaching the hostel Charity got a call her brothers came down for holidays, she screamed so loud like no man business,
“I’ll be there tomorrow, i just finished my exams today and i have nothing doing here, expect me tomorrow! she shouted happily and I suddenly felt bad.
“Okay I’ll be there I’ll be there,she said dropping the call and held me,
“My brothers are back? Hey I need to go arrange my bags, she said and ran off leaving me behind to catch up.
I finally got in and saw her bags scattered already and watched her seriously parking, then i remembered I have no place to stay for the vacation.
She didn’t noticed my sad looks as she talked alone telling me of all the fun and everything that will be at home.
Her talks wasn’t helping matters and i left the room while she continued talking without noticing my absence. There i saw the girls in the hostel seriously making preparations to vacate soon, and i wondered why I’m feeling so down this semester, maybe because i have no one to meet with at home or even a place to stay after my properties were swept off.
“Where will i go to? i asked myself the question when no one cared to ask, not even Success remembered that.
I stayed out watching movie on my phone to keep me company and returned to the hostel to see Charity was done parking.
“Where did you go to? She asked.
“If you wanted knowing you should have called, I replied.
“Really? You left the room without telling me nor cared to help me pack and you think i would have called huh? She angrily asked.
“You’re done packing right? So what’s the point? Goodnight please, I said and laid down to rest switching off my phone to avoid any calls.
The next day it was Charity voice that woke me up and she was talking to her dad on phone,
“Okay dad don’t bother I can get there myself, I’ll be leaving this morning, I heard her say when i opened my eyes.
“Love you, bye, she said and dropped the call and she was tying a towel on her body.
“You’re leaving that early? I asked as she took her brush.
“Yea, she replied and i nodded as she got in to brush up without saying anything else to me.
I cleaned my face and shook my head,
“Purity you also need to go, you can manage alright, I said to my self and took my bags to arrange my stuff.
She came out and prepared a cup of tea as she watched me packing,
“Going today? She asked.
‘Yea, I replied.
“Uhmmm safe journey, she said.
“You too, I said facing what i was doing…….

I watched her dressed up and was ready to go, i took one of her bags to drop her off and we bid ourselves goodbye as i put her in a Cab.
I slowly strolled back to the hostel and hurried up with my bags, I felt like crying but I refused to.
I was done packing and had something to eat, took my bags and left for home.
I was prepared to manage with whatever i will see, though the last time i got there was when I got Kidnapped.
But the situation there won’t be new to me knowing I saw worst when i met my mom newly.
I got to my compound and dropped from the bike that carried my bags and I dragged them in, I pushed the door knowing it was broken down and i couldn’t fix it, but i saw the door was fixed.
I didn’t understand what that means because the key was equally changed.
I tried the handle and the door opened, and to my surprise i saw my stolen things inside with added properties that wasn’t there.
I refused going in and took my phone to call Success but i saw him drove in with Charity laughing at me,
“Are you two serious? Charity i thought……. ‘Tomorrow, I’ll be there tomorrow, she cut in and i rolled my eyes.
“How did you two come up with this again? Gosh you never cease to amaze me, i said.
“I got to know Alfred was the idiot who stole your stuff so i got them back and added with what i feel will make you comfortable.
How do you cope without a fan? I had to bring in electricity and got you one at least, Success said and all i could do was hug him.
Purity cough got me back to my senses and I realized myself,
“I’m sorry, i said.
“Its okay, but don’t tell me you wanted staying in an empty house? He asked.
“I have no choice, I would have got some few things with my savings, I replied.
“Its alright, so? He asked.
“So Charity you’re going back to the hostel? I asked
“Nope, I’ll stay here and take off in the morning, she replied.
“Same with me if I’m welcomed, Success added and i smiled.
“Please come in sorry i kept you standing, i said taking them in.
We prepared something to eat and Success decided to do clean ups in the compound and we joined him to help out.
Charity said something that got me angry while we were clearing and i poured her little of the weed i cleared,
“Jeeez! Charity shouted hitting the sands from her shirt.
“That will keep your mouth shut i guess, I said.
“Yes you’re right! charity Shouted and baptised me with her own portion of weeds and we went about running throwing ourselves grasses and involved Success in it.
When we done looking so dirty, our eyes opened when we realized there was no water in the house.
I cleaned off the dirt on me and took a pail to fetch water but the place was Locked.
“What is going to happen now? Charity asked when i came back.
“Is there no stream around? Success asked.
“There is, i replied.
“Then what are we waiting for? Let’s hop in there, Success said and I quickly locked the door knowing there will be so much fun there…………
