EPISODE 8
Ken was inside his room operating on his laptop when he suddenly heard Clara screaming and shouting,..as he stood up to go know why she was screaming, the door opened and Clara ran in still shouting, she purposely left go off the towel and it fell on the ground, as she completely went stark n@ked.
To Clara uttermost surprise, Ken didn’t fall for her trap but instead he bent down and picked up the towel, gave it to her to tie it back, but by then Clara has stopped screaming.
“Clara!! what is your problem? A while ago I heard you screamed, before I could know the cause of the scream you already barge into my room and pulled off your towel!! what is happening? Why are you behaving like an insane person? Are you ok? Yesterday you told me that you love me and today you barge into my room n@ked, hmm!! Is there something you are not telling me? Is there something I need to know? Because with the way you are behaving, something is definitely wrong somewhere”. Ken yelled at Clara with a squeezed face.
“Am sorry daddy!! As I wanted to take my bath, I saw something that looked like a snake on my bed, that was why I screamed and ran to your room!! You are supposed to be protecting me and not yelling at me”. Clara said pretending to be crying. Ken was touched with the way Clara was crying, so he hugged and consoled her.
“Okk!! ok am sorry!! just that you are behaving strangely eversince yesterday. Daddy is sorry ok, and beside, there is no snake in this house, maybe is just your imagination. I promise you I will always protect you my princess. So sorry for yelling at you ok”. Ken said to Clara who nodded her head.
“Ok go on, go and take your bath ok. After taking your bath, I will take you shopping”. Ken said and smiled.
“Oh really daddy!! Clara said excitedly as she ran and hug him…..
Clara went to her room and jumped on the bed
“That guy Ken is just so difficult to get!! I went n@ked in front of him thinking he will grab me and pull me to the bed, but no, my thinking was wrong. Ken!! Whether you like it or not you are mine. I don’t mind going to any length just to have you. Clara thought to herself and smiled.
Just then her phone started ringing, she looked at the phone’s screen and the caller name was boldly written ‘MUMMY’ she quickly picked it…
“Mummy the mummy”. Clara hails on phone
“Clara my daughter, how are you?”. Lucy said at the other end.
“Mummy am very fine and you?” Clara asked.
“Am not fine, am not fine o”. Lucy responded.
“What happened mama?” Clara confusedly asked.
“Am angry because of you and stop pretending like you don’t know. Lucy said.
“Mama what is it? Pls talk to me”. Clara asked.
“Ever since you went to the mansion, you just forgot me your mother!! You stopped calling!! You have never for once send money to me or have you forgotten that we are into this game together?”. Lucy said.
“Which game are you talking about mama?” Clara asked pretending not to know.
“What sort of stupid question is that? Have you forgotten the promise you made to me? Now listen to me little girl, we have an unfinished game and that game must be accomplished”. Lucy said with seriousness in her voice.
“Well mum am no longer interested in that game. Clara said and ended the call on her mother’s ears, after some minutes.
Her phone started ringing again, she looked at the phone’s screen and hiss before picking it.
“Mummy why are you disturbing me na? Why are you killing my battery? Pls I will call you later, am very busy now”. Clara angrily said.
“If you dare cut this call again, I swear!! you will regret it. Lucy threatened,
“Hahahaha!! you don’t stop to amaze me!! This phone am using belonged to me, I have right to do whatever I want with it,..so keep your threat to yourself!! am not scared”. Clara fired back.
“Clara!! What is wrong with you? Wait!! wait!! wait!! do you even know whom you are talking with!! It’s me your mother o”. Lucy said.
“Ofcourse I know it’s you mum!!” Clara said on phone, while Lucy sighed heavily at the other end of the call.
“Now listen to me Clara! I don’t know where that stupid attitude of yours is coming from, but one thing I want to tell you is tha, we both started this game together and we must surely finish it. Mind you, I am the reason why you are staying in that mansion!! If you make me angry, I will do everything possible for you to come back to where you belong!! Don’t dare me little girl”. Lucy angrily said on phone.
“What are you going to do? To expose the secret of how you denied Ken of his real daughter!! Go ahead and tell him mum, am not scared!! But one thing I want you to know is that you pushed me into this, but incase you don’t know!! I am even planning on telling Ken myself”, Clara said..
“You b@stard!! you betrayal!! I regrets ever giving birth to you! You are worse than Jezebel!! But one thing I want to let you know is that, if Ken finds out the truth, get ready, we are both going to jail you backstabber”. Lucy angry said.
“I am not scared of going to jai, but mind you, your crimes are too many! The judge will sentence you to life imprisonment. Just mark my words!! Clara said.
“Hahahaha!! really? Let’s see about that you daughter of Jezebel!! Mark my words!! If am going down you are also going down with me!! Lucy threatened.
Lets see about that”. Clara said hiss and ended the call.
Jemima was cleaning the sitting room when Ken walked in holding two fancy nylon, it obvious he went shopping for his daughter Clara.
“Welcome sir”, Jemima greeted him.
“Where is my daughter?” Ken asked, looking at Jemima.
“She is upstairs in her room”, Jemima replied.
“Take! This is for you. Ken said, and handed Jemima one of the nylon containing some clothes and shoes.
“Aaah!! thank you very much sir. Jemima thanked him smiling.
“You are welcome dear”, Ken said as Jemima left.
Ken watched as Jemima left until she was out of sight.
“There is really something about this girl that I can’t tell. Something keeps connecting me to her!” Ken said, sighed a moment before walking upstairs.
Right in Ken’s room. Ken just finished taking his bath and was trying to put on his pajamas when the door flonged opened,..Clara walked in,.. immediately Ken saw Clara, he uses his pajamas to cover his pe**s.
“Clara what is wrong with you? Can’t you atleast knock before entering? Pls go out let me finish dressing up” Ken said with a squeezed face.
“Am going nowhere Ken”. Clara said and walked very closer to him.
“What?? You called me by name? Are you out of your mi….”
“Yes!! I called you by name!! That is because you are not my father and I am not your real daughter!! I will tell you all you need to know on one condition?” Clara cut in.
