I backed up my tears not ready to cry in front of him and walked away from his office over to the assignment he gave to me…
I shouldn’t have opened my legs?!!..
He was the only person i opened my legs to and he was the only person i loved and thought i would spend the rest of my life with until he proposed to me and broke up with me the next day over the phone…
Fine he can deny ever knowing me but doing it like this just hurts the more..
Where is the loving and sweet Xander that i knew??..
Where is the funny and jovial Xander that i knew??..
All i see now is a grumpy ass, rude, obnoxious and arrogant overly handsome man who doesn’t care about anyone but himself…
Oh God what do i do about Emily now??..
Minutes later
‘Done!!!’…I yelled as i dropped a receipt in front of him and when i checked the time it was already 8pm…
Oh my God Emily is so gonna kill me!!..
‘Jesus Christ what are you still doing here Selena?!!’..Mac who came in surprised asked….
‘Well that —Mr Xander kept me here and i didn’t pick my daughter from school and.…God i can’t take this anymore!!’..I bursted into tears and sat back down on the chair..
Maybe if i had listened to mom’s advise that time i wouldn’t have even been Xander’s girlfriend or even gone out with him or anything…
‘Ohhh don’t cry you’ll ruin your pretty face,okay let’s go i’ll take you home’..Mac offered..
‘Thank you so much Mac’..I said..
‘Hmmm where do you live??’..He asked..
‘Ohhh just close to Mr Xander’s mega house’..i replied and his eyes widened in bewilderment…

Mac’s POV
‘Mommy!!!’..a little girl of about four or five years old came out of the little detached house close to Xander’s and Selena came out of it and went to hug her..
‘Ohhh baby I’m so sorry about everything, to be honest i am so so sorry please forgive me honey’…She said and kssed the little girl..
‘Its okay Jane picked me up from school’..The little wonder said and then i saw the little face..
‘Ohhh sorry Emily meet Mr Mac from work’..Selena introduced me..
‘Hi Emily’..I waved..
‘Mac?? As in Mac Donald’s??’..She asked and i chuckled loudly only for me to be struck with shock..

She looks exactly like Alexander!!..
How on Earth does she look so much like Alexander?!!…
This is unbelievable does he have a brother or something caused this resemblance isn’t something to forget or anything..
This isn’t coincidental this child is a perfect replica of my friend….
‘Uhhh Selena is there something you’re not telling me?? How on Earth can your daughter look so much like Xander??’..I couldn’t help but ask..
‘I…I…I don’t know’..She stuttered which clearly shows that she’s lying and quickly walked away before i could ask further questions..
There is no doubt that that child is Xander’s!!!…
Selena’s POV
‘The ba$tard just thinks he can keep me waiting like I’m some stupid fellow which is so not very cool!!’..I groaned as Janet walked into the room…
‘Now some very funny shit is going on here to be honest with you here…Alexander is your high school sweetheart and you dated him since you were sixteen years old right??Now when nineteen or twenty one he proposed to you right?? And then the next day he called things off with you through a text and then left you pregnant with a child in your belly!!! Now it’s been four or five years and you see the bastard but he doesn’t remember you?? He doesn’t even know you?? And he’s your boss?? That’s some stupid bullsht there!!!’..She said and I shrugged my shoulders…
‘It’s..it’s the most confusing thing ever and i just feel like i wanna cry cause..cause this same person ruined my life now I’m gonna act like everything is okay?? That’s just not even possible and I’m trying to hard to fathom the fact that he doesn’t even remember me’..
‘Hey!!! he remembers you!!! I’m a 100% sure he remembers you girl!!! You don’t go to highschool and become someone’s boyfriend for almost five years and then you tell me you. Forget them!! That’s just not possible and that Emily needs her father!!’…She screamed..
‘Well Emily doesn’t know her father does she?? And her father doesn’t even know me or her!!! Can you even imagine that i was asked how my daughter looks so much like him by his friend??’..
I blurted out my frustration…
‘Look you’re gonna pull yourself together and you’re gonna teach that ba$tard a lesson because of this!!!
He can’t say he doesn’t know you after proposing to you and breaking your heart the next day after leaving a remnant of his sperm in your belly there’s no way we’re gonna let that slide so are you in!’..

The Next Morning
‘Dude that child looks like you!! There is no way you can tell me that you missed that!!’..Mac exclaimed as i clearly ignored his words..
‘Look Mac today is going to be a busy day and i have a lot of work to finish so please,just keep it down on a low’…
‘On a low?? Remember how you used to say you never wanted kids cause they were all so scrawny and your schedule couldn’t bear it?? Well that girl might be your daughter for all sakes!!’..He still persisted with his stupid logic and i rolled my eyes..
‘Look Mac i am not in the mood for all this!!there is no way she looks like me and i have never met Selena in my entire life apart from this week!’..
With loud gasps from everyone outside my office I walked out only to see Selena and her daughter walking over…
Holy Mary mother of God this Child looks exactly like me!!!!….
‘No kids allowed!! Why on Earth would you bring your child to work?!’..I snarled at her..
‘Well it’s Saturday and i can’t leave her home all by herself’..she replied and i noticed the glares from other staffs…
This is so embarrassing..
‘Just keep her in your office okay?? And if she causes any trouble you’re fired!’..I warned and turned away..
‘He’s a grumpy ba$tard’..the little girl whispered.
“What did you call me??’..I flinched..
‘I called you a grumpy man’..She replied and I shook my head..
