Alexander’s POV
I wanted her to hate me!!!..
I wanted her to despise me and tell me a story of how she suffered without no help from both sides…
I wanted her to tell me that she would never let that sharp mouthed kid near me now she wants me to pick her up from school…
In all my twenty eight years of living I have never felt awkward as i feel now…
How on Earth was i in love with someone as Crazy as Selena?!!…
She threw a cup of coffee at me now I’m picking her daughter —No our daughter from school…
‘Uhhhhh I’m looking for Emily,she’s got blue eyes and uhhh—
‘What is Mr Grumpy doing here??’.. The little terror i was looking for asked..
‘Well your mommy said i should come pick you up from school’..I replied and she arched her brow..
Oh God i hate kids…
‘My mommy didn’t say that’..
‘Well she did’..
‘She didn’t!! according to her you are a stuck up piece of trash,a ba$tard,a son of a something and an arrogant something hole’..
‘Okay that’s enough let’s go!!! Or do you have someone else to pick you up?!’..I snarled..
‘Ohhhh okay,nice car by the way’..She muttered and got in..
Oh God this is going to be a long ride…
minutes later
’For someone who’s grumpy you don’t talk a lot’..Emily muttered as i lowered the music playing from the car sound system…
‘I don’t talk when there’s no need for talking’..I said…
‘You don’t talk?? You’re boring uggh Uncle Mac is way more fun than you’..She retorted and i rolled my eyes again…
Mac has always been the Ladies and kids charmer..
‘Ice cream!!!’..She squealed and i stopped the car immediately…
‘Well let’s go get some ice cream shall we??’..I said and her eyes widened in excitement…
Oh my God what is wrong with me?!!..
Selena’s POV
‘It’s 8pm already Janet and he’s not back yet!! oh i made a terrible mistake oh God i have to file a report!!’..I panicked as i paced in and around the room…
‘Just chill girl,he wouldn’t do anything to his daughter would he??’..She said.
‘You don’t know Xander he’s unpredictable and he knows it Oh God I’m so scared right now and…’..my voice trailed off as soon as i heard a knock on the door…
I ran over and opened it and thank goodness Xander was there with Emily but with bags!!!!…
Lots of bags which contained only what God knows and they all looked like girl things..
‘Mommy’..Emily yawned as she wrapped her hands around his neck..
‘Why is she so tired??’..I asked nervously…
‘Well it’s crazy what lots of ice cream, burgers and cotton candy and a ride in the park can do to a kid’..He replied avoiding my eyes as possible…
‘Emily let’s go’..I muttered..
‘No i want Mr Grumpy’..She replied slapping my hands away…
What??..
Emily has never refused me before..
’Emily come on let’s go Mr Grumpy has to go to his house’..
‘No!! I want to go with Mr Grumpy he’s the best’…

Alexander’s POV
She wants to stay with me??…
is this how easily you can win a child over with ice cream and gifts???…
‘Uhhhh okay since you want to stay with Mr Grumpy then it’s fine, well as long as you can handle her it’s fine,wait here I’ll go get her PJ’s and her toothbrush’…Selena said and walked away..
some minutes later she came back with a pretty unicorn pyjamas and a matching toothbrush along with hair gope bands…
‘Here,she doesn’t like brushing her teeth but it’s up to you to do so since you’re her uhmmm’… She muttered and I nodded..
G©sh i can’t believe this woman that i claim to dislike so much was once my heartrob and she’s the mother of my child…
This is just so overwhelming and downright outrage!!..
‘Uhhh okay I’ll bring her back first thing in the morning’..I managed to say and took the little girl inside my car and drove straight into the house….
‘Your house is beautiful’..Emily yawned as i brought her down to her feet…
‘Your mom says you have to brush your teeth’..I replied and took her to my bathroom inside my room upstairs…
‘But i don’t want to!! what’s the need of brushing twice?!! who made that stupid rule??’..She asked..
She surely has a loud mouth just like her mother…
‘Well God did and if you don’t want to get God angry you should go brush your teeth’..I whispered and she gasped adorably…
‘I don’t want to make God angry where’s my toothbrush??’…
‘Here’..I replied,applied a perfect amount of toothpaste on her toothbrush and she left for my bathroom..
‘Wont you join me??’..She asked..
‘Ohh you want me to join you??’..I asked back rhetorically and she nodded…
Selena’s POV
‘Look he bought her a disco ball,a castle play house equipped with princesses and everything!! he bought her a lot of things which i was planning on getting in two years time!!’…I groaned loudly unboxing every single toy Xander bought for Emily…
‘Chill babe,you should see the clothes he bought her, Emily’s gonna be a diva in no time!!! I mean he bought her the whole Balenciaga collection which was released last month!! I don’t even have one designer dress and Emily now has a ton!!’..Janet replied and I groaned again…
‘See?!! He’s spoiling her way too much!!!’..
‘He isn’t spoiling her!!he hasn’t even accepted her yet! The guy is surely arrogant but he’s confused and from the look of it he cares about Emily’..She said and I snorted…
‘I don’t like the idea of this’..
‘Well he’s her father isn’t he?? who knows you might both rekindle your flame’..
‘Ohhh no that fire turned to ashes a long time ago!! just because my ex is my boss doesn’t mean I’ll fall back for him!!! he’s a ba$tard!’
