Chapter 57
He was getting possessive over her again.
They walked upstairs, moving away from the noise.
“Hmmm, Martin, where are we going?” Evelyn asked curiously as they climbed the long stairs, but Martin didn’t answer her.
They reached a door, and Martin pushed it open, only to see another group of people.
They seemed rich, dressed rich, and then Evelyn realized that it was the VIP section.
Everyone turned towards their direction.
The men were dressed in suits, and there was a woman beside each of them.
“Martin,” Mr. Tom called, walking towards them, and Martin just stared at him with hatred.
Hatred was visible in his eyes, and he didn’t bother hiding it.
“Mr. Tom,” he called back, and they both shook hands.
“Evelyn?” he called, turning towards Evelyn, who just faked a smile.
She felt so uncomfortable around him.
“You look so pretty,” he smirked and took her hand gently before kssing it slowly.
Evelyn tried to remove her hand from his, but he didn’t allow it, making the young girl feel so uncomfortable.
“Mr. Tom, I would appreciate it if you take your hands off my wo… secretary,” Martin said, and Mr. Tom just smirked before removing his hand from her.
“Please come this way,” he said, pointing to a seat, and they both sat down.
Most of the men were in their late 40s to 50s, and Martin seemed to be the youngest.
They kept staring at Martin with jealousy, as did the young ladies beside the men.
The door opened, revealing a young man. The man stared at Evelyn, and his eyes suddenly widened in surprise.
“Evelyn?” he called, making both turn their direction towards him, and Evelyn’s eyes widened in surprise too.
“Alexander?” she called, and they both hugged each other while the people just stared at them.
Martin was trying to keep his cool because he didn’t like seeing someone else touch his fiancée.
“Hmmm,” Evelyn realized what that meant, and she quickly moved away from him.
Alexander stared at Martin, and he huffed immediately he saw him, hatred visible in his eyes.
You remember that incident of Martin beating up a guy when they were in college. He is the one.
“Nice meeting you again,” Evelyn said, and Alexander smiled while Evelyn walked back to her seat.
“Can’t you even say hi to him?” Evelyn asked, and Martin scoffed.
“Seriously, Eve? Are you trying to get on my nerves? You know how much I hate that guy since then,” Martin said, and Evelyn chuckled.
“I just want everyone to know you belong to me,” he whispered in her ear and kssed her cheek, and she quickly pushed him away.
“Seriously, Martin, we are in the midst of people,” she said, trying hard not to blush.
“I told you I don’t care,” Martin said, and they both smiled at each other.
