“Ma’am please ,we would like you to accompany us to the station. There you can write your statement. One of the police men said referring to Jackie, because of the statement she made earlier.

“Okay sir , Jackie replied , before tagging along with them .

Mrs Damien wheeled Javier to his room, for him to have some rest after the day drama.

When he was finally asleep she left his room heading to Ariel’s room. Ariel has been supportive during those hard time. She tried her best to make sure Mrs Damien never cried during their stay in the hospital .

Soon, just like wild fire the news of a cook trying to kill Mrs Damien only son through poison spread across the city. Some people showed their concern wishing Jerald quick recovery. While most people showered hateful words on Jon wishing her nothing but death.

Kathrine came over after she heard the news ,she was kinda angry Ariel didn’t inform her about such a thing, just like Ariel didn’t believe Jon would do such a thing ,so did Katherine. She didn’t know Jon that well but she could tell Jon was innocent.

Jon couldn’t even hurt a fly, then why would she try to kill someone and not just anyone but her helper’s only child. Something sounds fishy.

“Seriously Ariel all this happened and you didn’t tell me about it, Kathrine asked.

“No kath ,I just didn’t want to borther you about anything,you have a life of your own ,I don’t want my problems to revolve around you , Ariel said.

“Come on Ariel, that’s bullshit , your problem is my problem always remember this , Kathrine stated and Ariel nodded.

“I don’t know why ,but my heart doesn’t accept the fact that Jon was guilty of that crime , Ariel suddenly said after a short silence .

“Me too Ariel , maybe she was set up by someone ,but who could it be , Kathrine asked placing her hand on her left cheek.

“I have no idea ,but one thing is sure ,that person has deep hatred for Jon, Ariel said.

“Yes you are right , Kathrine replied.

“I want to meet with her , please can you take me to that station , Ariel asked.

“Of course , let’s go ,I also want to see her too , maybe she might know who hates her so much in this house. Kathrine said and helped Ariel up from where she sat. They both left the house heading to the police station Jon was kept .

“Not now Stacy ,I am busy as you can see ,her brother replied her still typing.

“Fine , but if it’s not something useful then , you will be grounded for a week ,he replied sternly.

“I am no baby ,you can ground okay , and this is very important.

I went online on my social media account and I saw this post at first I didn’t believe because it might just be some cooked up story ,so I decided to make some researches , and this is what I found. Stacy explained shoving the phone into her brother’s face.

He took the phone from her and glanced through it ,there he got the shock of his life ,the headline wasn’t that captivating as the picture.

“Terrance, what’s wrong why aren’t you saying anything. Stacy asked. But Terrance didn’t reply ,he continued to stare at the lady’s picture in front of him.

“It’s Jonella. Terrance suddenly said after a long silence.

“Who’s Jonella ,Stacy asked confused.

“Your best friend ,the girl I picked up from the streets back when we were in Texas. Terrance said trying to make his sister recall.

“Future wifey ,Stacy exclaimed after much thoughts.

“Yes , it’s her ,she is the lady in this picture ,I still remember her beautiful deep blue eyes, Terrance said smiling as a tear slipped down his eyes.

“What happened to her,why is she being accused of such a heavy crime ,Stacy asked .

“I don’t know ,but we are going to find out ,get your bags ready ,we are leaving for New York tomorrow morning. Terrance said and Stacy nodded still in shock of such a discovery,how much she missed Jonella.

Terrance closed his laptop and went up to his room ,he needed some time alone.

He got to his room and walked in heading straight for his drawer. He brought out the picture that was placed in it, it was the only picture of Jon, he had left.
