“Mom ,when is brother Jerald returning home , Ariel asked Mrs Damien who was engrossed in the movie she was watching , Ariel wasn’t watching the movie she was listening to her favorite music from her music pod,she had a phone but only Kathrine and Mrs Damien can use it ,Mrs Damien bought it because Ariel was soon going to see ,so why not have a phone now ,she had thought .
“Oh baby ,he is returning home tomorrow morning ,since it’s a holiday tomorrow we both are going to pick him up from the airport, Mrs Damien replied.
“Wow , that’s great I can’t wait to welcome him home , Ariel said happily.
“You sound really excited ,more than me his own mother ,care to tell,Mrs Damien said.
“Mom ,I am just happy that apart from having a wonderful mother like you I will also have a brother that will always protect me , Ariel replied.
“Oh that’s good I love that ,keep the spirit going my baby ,I need to use the restroom real quick be right back, Mrs Damien said before standing up ,she was about climbing the stairs when the doorbell rang.
*I am not expecting anyone and surely Ariel isn’t cause Kathrine already left *Mrs Damien thought as she turned around heading to the door .
She opened it up and gasped in surprise ,it was an old friend which she didn’t expect to see .
“Ken , Kimberly , what are you both doing here , Mrs Damien asked.
“Clair it’s been a long time , how are you doing , Kimberly asked .
Surprised right yeah ,Turns out Mrs Damien and Kathrine’s parents knew each other when Mrs Damien came into the business world with her husband Mr Damien they were business partners before they parted ways this was at the time Karen and Kathrine were born before the crisis happened ,you get to know the rest later.
“Am fine , what reason do I owe this visit , Mrs Damien asked .
“We are sorry to disturb you at this late hour ,but we are here for our daughter ,ken said which made Mrs Damien stargger back wards in fright ,*who is their daughter *,Mrs Damien thought .
“Who are you talking about , Mrs Damien asked.
“Kathrine , Kimberly suddenly said . staring at a different direction ,ken wondered why ,as he took a look at the direction she was facing and saw someone who looked like Kathrine or was it her ,this person was dressed the same way Kathrine dressed ,he had his doubt because of the sky blue eyes that was staring wierdly at another direction.
“Mom what’s wrong who is at the door ,you have been there for couple of minutes now. Ariel said worriedly as she walked to where Mrs Damien stood .
“Oh am sorry baby ,I was just attending to some old friends , please go back inside I will be with you shortly. Mrs Damien hurriedly said .
“But I heard someone call Kathrine ,is she here ,why did she return ,is something wrong , Ariel pushed further.
“Honey she looks so much like Kathrine ,but that’s not Kathrine I think this is her friend Ariel that she is always talking about. Ken said .
“Oh I am sorry for the misunderstanding Claire ,so sorry , Kimberly apologized .
“Sorry about that Claire we are searching for Kathrine ,she ran out of the house not long ago due to some personal issues ,so we thought maybe she came back here. Ken explained.
“No she didn’t return here ,am sorry she left the house but there is nothing I can do now , but I pray you find her soon.
Mrs Damien replied. She had been feeling very nervous and insecure since the day doctor Charles showed her the DNA test results. She had been scared of the action she took but there no other way.
Now it felt like she did those things in vain, cause Ariel’s biological parents were standing right in front of her, and she couldn’t do anything about it.
“Kathrine is missing ,how ,what happened ,she just left not quite long ,she promised me she was gonna play with me tomorrow , why is she missing now , Ariel cried out .
“Ariel calm down okay , Kathrine is fine ,her parents are going to make sure she is found , don’t worry just go upstairs and have a rest Ok ,Mrs Damien said.
“No ,I can’t mom ,I feel restless we need to find her , nothing bad should happen to her ,come on mom ,I think I have an Idea where she might be , Ariel said and held Kimberly for support thinking it was Mrs Damien ,it didn’t feel different as she felt comforted by just holding unto Kimberly’s hand .
Kimberly on the other hand felt sparks ,like she had been united with something ,she held unto Ariel’s hand as they both head towards the car.
Mrs Damien not liking the situation quickly stopped them both and took Ariel’s hand away from Kimberly’s ,she quickly came up with an excuse to why she had done that.
“We will go in our own car ,she said and took Ariel towards one of the numerous cars with Asher running towards them ,they got into the car and Asher drove out of the house with Kathrine’s parents tailing behind.
“Where are we heading to Ariel , Mrs Damien asked annoyed masking it with a smile.
“To LOVE TOONS PACK, that’s Kathrine favorite place ,she always take me there anytime we go out ,I have a feeling we will find her there , Ariel replied.
“Alright dear , Asher hurry up we don’t have much time. Mrs Damien said.

FIVE MINUTES LATER…….
soon they all arrived at LoveToons , everyone alighted from their cars , Kimberly walked up to Ariel immediately .
“Ariel please do you know any particular place she always head to ,she asked .
“Yes I do ,I know my way around here and I know where she will be , please everyone should stay here and wait for me, Ariel replied.
“But it’s dark ,Mrs Damien said with concern .
“Mom why worry my visions has always been dark , don’t worry I will find my way , Ariel replied and left ,she counted her steps till she arrived at the particular place,she smiled in relief when she perceived Kathrine perfume and could also hear sniffles .
“Kathrine ,it’s me Ariel ,she said walking towards her direction , Kathrine raised her head up to see Ariel ,she immediately stood up from the bench surprised to see Ariel there ,then the thought niggled her ,her parents must have visited Mrs Damien’s house thinking they would find her .
“Ariel why are you here alone ,come on let’s go ,it’s not that safe here , Kathrine said as she held unto Ariel’s hand as they both head back to where her parents and Mrs Damien stood waiting.
Immediately Kim saw her daughter she rushed towards her hugging the day light out of so did her father.
“Kathrine why did you run away ,you left me worried ,Kim said after breaking the hug.
“Am sorry mom ,I was just so angry ,am sorry , sorry Dad ,but please I don’t want to leave ,Kathrine begged holding her parents hands .
“Kathrine don’t worry we will talk about this at home ,thank you so much Claire ,thank you Ariel ,ken said he pulled Ariel into a hug removing a strand of her hair in the process ,in which Mrs Damien was quick to see .
“We will take our leave now ,ken bye Mrs Damien said hurriedly and took Ariel’s hand as they both left heading back home .
Mrs Damien was more than restless ,what does he want to use that hair for ,such a stupid question ,of course it’s for a DNA test ,she has to keep an eye on him now to make they don’t find out about Ariel being their daughter.
