Mason’s pov :
I called Aidan for God knows how many time and he finally picked. We talked for some minutes and he told me he went to get the Arabian plant and he’s on his way back.
That was so thoughtful of him. I thought he wanted her dead but no he wanted her to live. He must have cared about her to travel that far and pass through all that stress for her sake.
When the call came to an end, I turned to see a damsel staring at me. She was really beautiful and her face was familiar.
She looks exactly like my princess charming. Her hair and her face. I watched her for sometime and I realised she was the one.
“You?” I said and she batted her lashes
That’s hot
“Hi” I said calmly
Hi” she replied shyly
“What are you doing around here?” I asked
“Actually I’m looking for my friend. We were supposed to meet after exercising but I can’t find her. So I decided to check if she’s here” she answered
Oh my!!!
I totally forgot the girl inside is her friend. No wonder she looks familiar. She’s the cr@zy btch Aidan talks about.
How will I tell her that her friend is dying? I can’t let her find out.
“Come let’s go look for your friend” I said trying to hold her hand.
She looked at me as if trying to read my intentions before giving me access to her hand. We checked the garden, parking lot and other places but couldn’t find her.
I wasn’t expecting us to see her though
She looked so frustrated, I could tell she was tired the way she drag her feet.
“Sorry to ask, are you hungry?” I asked but she didn’t reply
“We could get something to eat, you look tired” I added
“No thanks, I just need to find my friend” she reply wearily
I know she is tired and hungry but she care about her friend well enough to go hungry.
I wish I could tell her the truth. The truth about knowing where her friend is. But I can’t even if I want to.
I turned to face her, I held her two hands and looked straight into her eyes. She turned her face to avoid my gaze.
“You need to trust me, we will find your friend. I promise to do anything and everything possible to find her. But right now you need to eat and rest. You might slump any moment from now” I told her
She seems to understand my point. She nodded in approval. We went to the cafeteria and ordered for food. She ordered for chocolate chips cookies and a can of sunkist.
I ordered for a bottle of blue wine. I watched her eat slowly as I sip my drink. Although she eats, I could still see how worried she is. I just pray Aidan gets here fast
Aidan’s pov :
After speaking with Mason on phone, I felt relieved. I dropped my phone and started the car. Thank God she’s alive. She’s just fighting for her life. I must confess she’s strong.
I drove at high speed so I could get back early. Driving back was stressful and frustrating. I met the cops and I spent some minutes explaining how important it is for me to drive that way.
And after much talks, I was allowed to go. I entered into my car and drove off.

I got to the gym and parked the car. I came down holding the plant and my phone, looking so tired and frustrated at the same time.
“Welcome back master Aidan” the driver said and I gave him the key
I entered the gym through the back door and went directly to my private room. I entered and saw her lying on the sofa bed. I checked for Mason but couldn’t find him.
I will look for him later
I quickly prepared the antidote and walked towards the be.d. I sat beside her and raised her up a little. I placed the cup in her mouth and she drank from it. I placed the cup on the table and made her lie down.
She should be up in less than an hour.
I watch her sleep. She really is beautiful. I placed my hand on her face and c@ressed her face. I used my finger to touch her lip. They were so soft and plumped.
I was really tempted to kss those l!ps. I really want to mumble on those l!ps. But no, a part of me doesn’t. I looked away but immediately turned back to look at her.
I placed my hand on her face and kssed her forehead, I kssed her nose and was about kssing her l!ps. I felt something stopped me. She was holding my face.
She murmured something in her sleep before cla$ping her l!ps on mine. I was shocked. Her eyes opened immediately. She threw me a na$ty look and I withdraw quickly. I was about standing up when she held me.
“Hey” she said and I turned
“How dare you kss me?!!” She yelled
Is she kidding me, she kssed me
“I saved your life and all you could do is blame me for kssing you when you actually did kss me”i said surprised
How can she accuse me of kssing her when clearly she kssed me
“It’s a lie. You stole my first kss!” She pouted
What!
First kss!!
That’s strange
“You also stole my first kss” I retorted
Her eye widen in shock. She thinks she is the only one that lost her first kss, I did too.
“First kss huh” she said and throw a pillow at me
I dodged quickly and left the b.ed for her
“Cr@zy girl” I cur$ed under my breath
Thank God she didn’t hear me
“How did I get here?” She asked but I ignore
“Hey I’m talking to you, did you kidn@p me? Huh?” She said and made to stand up
“Ahhhhhhh. It hurts” she groaned holding her hand
Guess she forgot she has only one hand.
I laughed. She looked at me and I quickly conceal it.
“Did anything happen between us?” She asked curious
“Hey you should be thanking me for saving your life and not bothering me about some stupid talks” I answered and she glared
“You broke my hand, kidn@p me and stole my first kss and you expect me to thank you?. No way” she yelled
“I did not stole your first kss you stole mine” I said moving closer to her
When she saw me coming, she moved backward. I kept closing the space between us until she got to the wall. I moved closer to her and raised her chin up.
She look really scared. It’s my first time seeing her that way.
“So you can be this quiet” I muttered and smirk
“What what.. What did you want. What exactly do you want from me?” She stuttered
“Well you said I stole your first kss which I didn’t. Now I want the kss” I said and her eyes widen in shock
“No you can’t” she said
“I never asked for your permission” I answered and finally lock my l!ps with hers.
