Author’s pov :
He opened the door for her and she stepped out. She beamed with smile at his gesture. He bow slightly.
“Can we, my lady” he said
He stretched his hand to take hers before leading her into the restaurant.
The restaurant was dressed to his tastes. A smile escaped his lips as he remembered his friend who had gone out of his way to makee this place awesome.
He lead her to the already arranged table. He finally released his hand from hers and drew back her chair. He made sure she was comfortably seated before taking his own seat.
“Oh what a gentleman” she thought
She looked around in awe. The place looks so nice and beautiful. The black curtains. The beautiful rose flowers.There where candle lights everywhere.
The rose patches on the floor gave it a perfect taste for a perfect date.
He finally cleared his throat. He picked up the menu and handed it over to her.
He watch her glance through it with her eyes beaming with smiles.
“She is beautiful” he thought
“But not has beautiful as our cr@zy btch” his subconscious mind said
“I should not be thinking about her right” he thought
“I will just go with blue wine” she said and he looked at her
He called the waiter and placed their order.
“So can I know you more?” he chuckled at his silly question
“Sorry” he muttered
She smiled, she seem to feel the tension building between them
“It’s nothing” she said feeling nervous
The waiter came with the blue wine and he helped her pour into her glass before pouring his.
“Cheers to the beginning of friendship” he said
“Cheers” she smiled
They both sipped from their wine, trying as much as possible to avoid each other’s gaze
“Ahem” he cleared his throat
She lift her eyes to see his dazzling eyes piercing into hers. She felt butterflies in her tummy.
When he looked at her, he decided to read her thought.
“Is he going to kss me?” She thought and blushed
“Does she think I will kss her” he thought and scoffed
G0sh he can’t even think of kssing her
“If she was here I would have gladly kss her” he thought
G0sh he doesn’t want to think about her. But he couldn’t help it
To distract himself from thinking about her, he decided to chat.
“Sorry I’ve quiet, I’m not just sure about what you will want to talk about”
“Come on we can talk about anything” she said warming up
“Ok. I guess this not your first date right?” He asked
“Yes” she answered
“Will you tell me about your first date?’ He asked
She told him everything. One gist lead to another and they were seen laughing their ribs out.
At the end of the date, they seem to have enjoyed themselves.
“You’re a wonderful woman” he said and she smiled
“Thanks” she muttered
“I should get you home. I won’t want your dad trailing me with cutlass” he said
She couldn’t help but laugh
“My dad is not harsh” she said as they made their ways to the car
He opened the door for her and she entered. He entered and drove off.
He got to her house and opened the door for her. He followed her to her doorstep before waving her goodbye
“Aidan?” She called as he made to leave
He turned and smiled
“Can I get a hug?” she said
“Of course, you can” he said pulling her into a hug
He finally released her and watch her go in. He went back to his car and drove off.
Through out his drive home, he couldn’t help but think about the date. It was an awesome first day. He smiled
He remembered the hug also. Although he enjoyed hugging her, he never felt the sparkle he felt when he hugged his cr@zy btch.
“Do I love her?” He thought
He can’t right?
He brush off the thought
He love Violeta and that is final
Lissa’s pov :
I was seated on the bed reading a book with Emily when someone knocked the door. It’s either the maid or dad.
Mum left for New York yesterday. Home has been really boring without her.
I sluggishly stood up from the bed
“Lazy girl” Emily said laughing
I ignored her and went to open the door. After all I’m actually lazy.
I opened the door and saw dad looking worried
“Good evening dad” I greeted but he only nodded
He entered and sat on the bed with us
“Dad are you ok?” Emily asked
“Yes. Just that I have some bad news. Not really bad new but bad news” he said
We looked at each other confused
He cleared his throat and decided to clear our thought.
“Actually, Emily, Lissa, the trip to France has been changed. We will be leaving tomorrow evening” he said
“What tomorrow evening?” We asked
“Yes, something cane up. The investors there will be having a conference meeting in Paris in two weeks, so they want us to be there. Which means we have to finalize Aderson contract before then”
“But have you called the Aidan Ivan’s Enterprise?” Emily asked
“Yes I did, I just came to inform you both, you should get your bags ready” he said and made to leave
“Dad, can we shop for new clothes before we go tomorrow” I said in Emily voice
She gave me her I will kill you look and I chuckled
“Yes Lissa you can” dad answered and closed the door behind him
Sht!!
He got me. I guess he has outgrown our voice changing trick
“Good for you” Emily said laughing
“Whatever!!!”
Aidan’s pov :
I got home feeling happy and fulfilled. I parked my car and went into the house. I saw Manson pacing around
“Are you ok man?” I asked concerned
He turned to see me standing behind him. He heaved a sigh of relief
“Thank God you are back!. Mr Anderson called. There is a change of plan”
“Change of plan?” I asked slightly confused
“Yes. The conference has been scheduled for next tomorrow so we need to leave for France by tomorrow evening”
“What tomorrow?”
“Yes tomorrow, so we need to get prepared”
“Before I forget, he said he will be coming with his two daughters” he added and my eyes widen in shock
“Two daughters?” I asked
“Yes two beautiful daughters”
“He told you they are beautiful?” I asked and he chuckled
“No, I just think they should be!” He said
“Don’t forget to call Violeta for the hotel” he added
“And don’t think I forgot about the date. That will be our gist when travelling tomorrow” he said and winked at me
“We might order for some clothes tomorrow before leaving” I said pulling off my dinner jacket
“Why don’t we go shopping, it’s been a while” he said
“No”
“Please hunny bunny” he said giving me his cute puppy eyes
If not for the fact that he’s my best friend, I will have think he’s g@y
“Ok, ok, suit yourself”
He walked towards me and give me a peg before running upstairs
He’s the least of my problem now. l need to get every necessary documents ready.
I went to my room, take my bath and lay down to sleep.
Tomorrow is going to be a busy day
