?Mabel’s POV?
Have never seen Dian this angry at me, he look intimidating and mad.
I shivered on the bed and stood up to face him.
“I just….I just want to get to know your mom Dian, she’s my future mother in-law.” I said and he scoffed.
“Oh please, don’t be sarcastic. This ain’t happening again Mabel, don’t meet up with my mom without my knowledge because the next time you do and she lock you up don’t come running.” He sneered and went inside the bathroom.
I stood rooted on the spot trying to understand what he meant.
Everybody knows Amelia Zara Macbeth Myers, the ruthless politician.
She didn’t even spare me a glance when I managed to see her and introduce myself as her son’s fiance.
The bathroom door opened and Dian came back in.
“You still here? He asked and I sigh before walking towards him.
“I know that you’re angry at what I did baby, for not telling you about it but I’m sorry.” I apologized sincerely. I wrapped my hands around his waist and place my head on his che$t.
“It doesn’t matter Mabel, the deed is done already.” He said and release my hands before walking towards the dressing table. He placed his watch on it and sat down on the nearby chair.
“I said am sorry Dian, what’s the big deal.” I asked clearly getting pissed off by the attitude he was giving me.
“What’s the big deal? The big deal is that mom will react terribly to what you did. Who sent you to her? Are you okay? You still wanna live don’t you? Then keep your leg to yourself and fk off! He yelled.
Have started to regret what I did now, that woman is a bea$t I don’t ever want to cross her path again.
I left the room and went downstairs to meet the boys, they were all sitting on the couch discussing.
“So Dian really did that? Asher asked and Bobby nodded.
I stopped midway on the stairs to hear what they were saying.
“And she’s coming back.” Bobby said and I furrowed my brow.
Who is coming back?
I clicked my slippers on the metal to attract their attention which really worked.
“Hey guys.” I greeted and sat beside Asher who was smoking.
“You okay? Liam asked me as he study my face for a little while.
“Yea I’m good.” I lied. I’m not good, am fking mad at myself.
Firstly I didn’t succeed in my quest to make Amelia Zara Macbeth Myers like me, now Dian is mad at me. Everything is just fked up.
“Okay, I got to go now see y’all later.” I said and stood up to leave.
I left the place and drove straight to Dad’s company. Who does she think she is?
She can’t be that powerful anymore when I have Dian by my side.
Aurora’s POV
I got home after school and reminisce on what to do next. Bobby already promise to come pick me up so that we can go to the bank.
That one is cleared but I just don’t understand why Dian is employing me again after what I did.
I thought that he’s going to hate me forever.
“Hey dummy! Arielle yelled while I covered my ear with my palms.
She is totally cr@zy!
“What’s with the yelling Arielle? Am cooking.” I said and she chuckled.
“Don’t be boring.” She said and I rolled my eyes. She is acting like a kid right now.
“What are you Cooking? Arielle asked as she take a peek at the pot.
“Pasta.” I replied and cover it up before sitting down on the counter.
“Oh yummy, I’m gonna have to stay for that.” She said and smirked.
“I met with Dian today.” I said and she looked up before dropping her phone on her lap.
“Really? What did he say? Did he expel you? Get mad at you? She asked at the same time.
“No! Just hear me out first.” I said and she heaved a sigh if relieve holding her che$t dramatically.
“He gave me a check of 1 billion won.” I said and she yelled.
“What!!!
“Lower your voice.” I said and hissed.
“He also said that if I still want to be their assistant then I should return to the mansion.” I added and she covered her mouth.
She removed her hand from her mouth then look at me.
“Are you going back? She asked and I shrugged.
I don’t really know.
