I couldn’t glance up and check out the person sitting in my front. You cannot imagine how awful Matt is. He was covered with buries and a red mark across his face.
“It’s awful, isn’t it? He snapped and I glanced over his face abruptly.
“Trust me you look terrible, you should do something about it.” I said without feel any slight of pity for him.
“And what are you supposed to say? He changed his position expecting me to say sorry.
“Why should I say sorry when it’s not my fault? You know what Matt? If you wanna deal with someone that should be Odette.” I said and rolled my eyes.
“Really? He laughed out, ” Aye! Darlene you never improve,I’m not surprise because you care about no one except yourself. Well it doesn’t matter because I’m not giving up on that lady the fact that I wanna have my way with her,so I should think of a way to get her…
“Perhaps that’d be her punishment.” I said with a nonchalant shrug.
“I need your help Darlene,it’s time for payback.”
“You could do it yourself Matt. Please I don’t want another trouble for myself, if you’re interested in her then be it, nevertheless you’re strong enough to deal with your sht.” I uttered sternly.
“You don’t talk to me like that Lady! He yelled and I flinched back. Before I know what happened,he brought out a gun from his pocket and I panicked more.
Is he going to kill me? What a dimwit! I should have known that I have made a deal with the dev1l already because Matt won’t spare me.
“Okay…OK I’m sorry.” I shoot my shot and uttered what he has been awaiting for.
“You gonna help me or I kill you? He asked,his jaw was clenched tight and I cur$ed underneath.
“You ba$tard! I said in between my clenched teeth.
“Talk! He ordered and I shuttered.
“Wha..wh…what do…you want me to do? I shuttered and hold unto the couch furiously.
“Good girl, now what you have to do now is find a way to get her to the address I’m gonna send tomorrow…
“What if I don’t?
“Then I’m gonna kill you,” He said and crocked the gun. I sprang out of the couch in a jolt as I quickly rushed toward the door but his guard stopped me.
“There is no way out of this mansion,just come back and let’s finish our discussion.” He said and his guard pushed me toward him.
I sat quietly and maintained my position on the couch waiting for him to break the awkward silence.
“Okay fine, I’m going to do it. Is that all?
“Yeah. One more thing,you have to be very careful I don’t want to run into that savage monster again.”
“Whatever.” I rolled my eyes and stood up. My phone beeped and I viewed the messages Kennedy sent.
“You can leave.” He ordered, I didn’t waste any time before rushing toward the door and his guards let me out. I hop in the car quickly and drove out in a full speed.

I stepped inside the club,it would difficult for anyone to recognizes me because of the hat I worn.
“You’re here? Kennedy muttered immediately she noticed my presence. She was wearing a smile of mischief as she laid her right leg the table and relaxed on the chair.
“What do you want ken? I asked and lit a cigarette.
“You remember the plans right,you have to stick with it. Darlene the only way to sing with kyle you have to steal Odette’s pin.” Kennedy said and took the cigarette from my lips and smirked. She puffed the cigar and hit it against a small glass on the table.
“Why is that everyone is talking about Odette? You know what? It makes me sick whenever I hear her name. I heard that she’s back now.”
“Yep, Kendra told me.” Kennedy said.
“Okay then.”

?Odette?
“What happened? Kendra asked while staring at me.
? It doesn’t matter I just want to see you. Please or should I come over to your place?…from Kyle.
? No oo oo! Don’t even think about it. Okay. I sighed and sent the message.
I dropped my phone on the bed and put on another gown.
“Where you going Odette.” I glanced at my mother who sat on the couch without saying anything.
“She’s going to see Kyle.” She mumbled.
“Really? What are you doing to do Odette?
Can someone tell Kendra to stop talking for goodness sake! I scoffed and picked my phone.
I’ll be back soon.”
“Okay,be careful.” Mom said and I nodded.
“Take care Odette.” Kendra said and I walked out.
I didn’t bother to drive since I cannot drive so I boarded a cab to the address he sent.
The taxicab came to halt and I alighted from it after paying the cabman. I made my way inside the mansion,Drake was at the gate so the gatekeepers didn’t bother to frisk my body rather they let me in and Drake escort me inside.
“Welcome ma’am. He isn’t around now,if you need anything just call me.” Drake said and walked out.
A maid rushed to me.
“Would you like a cup of juice ma’am.” I shook my head. “If want anything just press this button on the table I’d be here in a jiffy.” She uttered and walked away.

Thirty minutes Kyle didn’t show up and I’m feeling dizzy. My head is spinning one and my body felt so weak than before. He’s so desperate to see me and I don’t know why.
I rest my head on the couch while staring at the ceilings. I closed my eyes ready to take a nap then I felt a warm lips on my forehead,I opened my eyes.
Kyle was standing in my front as he bend a little.
“I’m sorry, Anel insisted I take her hom. I’m so sorry for keep you waiting.” He apologized and I just nodded.
He walked toward a sofa and sat down while his calm gaze was fixed on me.
“Are you okay? He asked. How I wish I can answer him,it’s killing because I have a splitting headache.
“Should I call my doctor? He asked and I arched my brow.
“It’s quite absurd but I can hear you. It’s like you’re saying something without moving your lips.” He twisted his face.
Really?
“Yeah really.” He muttered.
Jeez! I can’t believe it.
“And your mom?
She’s perfectly fine now.”
“What are you going to do about your voice,the concert remain two days moreover I’m planning to cancel it. I’m not interested anymore.” He said and I widened in shock.
I didn’t think about anything because I don’t want him to read my mind. But did he have to do that? Jeez! How the heck am I going to get my voice back? Like I badly need it now. There thousand questions in my mind but how I’m I going to do that and I don’t want him to read my mind.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breathe,I opened it back and glanced around. Kyle stood and walked up to me. He sat beside me and planted his right palm on my forehead.
“Your body is cold Odette.” He mumbled and rubbed his hands together before placing it on my forehead but it wasn’t help because still feeling some pain I couldn’t say.
“You’re not saying anything Odette.” He said and I didn’t know when tears streamed down my cheeks.
Kyle wiped my tears and pecked my cheeks.
“Sorry, you’ll be fine okay. I’m gonna call my doctor now it seems like you’re running fever.” He said and kssed my lips before walking away. I didn’t know what happened but I felt a spark immediately he did that…
