TWELVE
Ivy?
I rolled on the bed as a distant sound gradually woke me up. As soon as I fully woke up, I sat up and switch off the alarm on my phone.
Then I stretched my sore hands and neck. I had wonderful night without that troublesome Playboy but his king size bed is not soft at all. I suddenly miss my princess bed at home.
I checked the time on my phone and gasped. That Playboy must be awake now and probably on the way to this room to have revenge. I hurriedly looked around searching for a way to escape but then I finally went to the cupboard. Checked my own side of the clothes, took my soap,shampoo and towel before running towards the bathroom.
As I got to the bathroom door, I heard a sudden loud knock frightening me. I looked back and smirked before entering the bathroom and shutting the door. He’s too late to catch me now.

Brian ?
‘What the he¢k is she doing?’, I thought as I knocked on the door. I’ve been knocking for some minutes now and she refused to open the door. Just then, Tim appeared beside me and bowed.
“Sir, your secretary has been trying to call you but it’s not going through so she called me. Sir, you have an urgent meeting today with Kardos Company,” Tim said. Seeing that I’m about to protest, he continued,“ They already payed fifty billion dollars into the premium account so you can’t cancel the meeting sir.”
I sighed. The premium account again. I nodded and before he could leave, I said,“Bring me my room spare key.” He stood confused probably wondering why I’m locked outside my room.
I glared at him and he walked away. That feisty kitten is the one to be blamed for this predicament I’m in. I’ll teach her a lesson when I get into the room.
As I waited for Tim to bring the keys, I thought of a brilliant idea on teaching Ivy a lesson.

When I walked into the room, I heard sounds of water coming from the bathroom. Oh! So that’s why she didn’t open the door earlier. I picked my outfit, made a phone call and waited for her to come out.
Few minutes later, she came out in just a towel. Water glistening on her smooth and flawless looking skin.
I gulped hard and tried to stop my thing from rising. She looked up and noticed me. Stunned, she held her towel tightly to stop it from falling. “How did you get in?,” she asked. Receiving no response, she saw the hungry look on my face.
“Per.vert, how did you get in?” she held her towel tight than before. I stood up and walked closer to her. “Have you forgotten this is also my room. You will pay back for what you did yesterday night and wear a formal dress,” I told her while walking towards the bathroom.
“Why?”
“Cause you are following me to office today. I don’t trust you enough to leave you alone at home,” I replied.
“I can’t follow you to your office cause I don’t like public places,” she answered defiantly. I turned around to look at her.
“ I’m your husband and you have to listen to whatever I ask you to do. Why don’t you like public places and what does that have to do with me?,” I asked getting pissed by her attitude.
“I don’t like public places cause I have…,” she paused looking reluctant.
“You have what. Just admit you are making up excuses. You are following me and that’s final,” I said and walked into the bathroom, shutting the door angrily.
I didn’t see the anxious look on her face like she wanted to tell me something…

When I walked back to the room, I opened my mouth in shock at what Ivy’s wearing. I asked her to wear a formal dress but she’s wearing a Burberry top and a crazy knicker. Why does she like defying my orders so much?
“You want to follow me to the office wearing that?,” I asked.
She’s looked at her dressing and answered,“What is wrong with what I’m wearing?”
“Have you forgotten that you are married? Do you want to go to the office to $educe my employee?”, I can’t stand the thought of another man looking at her the way I’m doing right now.
“Are we going or not?,” she replied ignoring my questions.
“You have to go and change right now or I have no choice but to dress for you,” I said.
She looked mortified at the thought of me dressing for her so she stood up and went to the walk-in closet to change.
When she came out few minutes later, she was dressed in a black Chanel dress. Though it’s hugging and revealing all her beautiful curves, it’s still manageable than the first one.
“Meet me outside when you are done slowpoke,” she said and left the room. I sighed and thought,’Mom the wife dad chose for me is not only crazy. She’s also disrespectful.’

Ivy?
I gulped anxiously as I trailed behind Brian. I hope my kleptomania doesn’t start. It’s the reason why I avoid crowded or public places. I could hear Brian’s employees whispering as we walked towards his private elevator.
I had to endure a moment of silent as the elevator went to the upper floor. When we got there, I was relieved to see that the floor had fewer staffs. Three male employees and a lady dressed like a slut followed us into his office.
When we got there, I looked at the lady and frowned wondering why a staff is dressed like that. He introduced them to me.
“Ivy, this is Ken my head secretary, Sam head manager, Fred my financial manager,” he said and they smiled at me. I shook hands with them. Fred is the last person I shook hands with and he refused to release my hands. He stared at me giving me a flirty smile. I blinked my eyelashes cutely and smiled responding to his charming smile.
Brian cleared his throat and glared at us making Fred immediately release my hands. He then turned to the lady,“This is my personal secretary Kim.” I looked at her dressing reluctant to shake hands with her. When she brought out her hands, I ignored. I saw the way she was looking at Brian since she entered the office.
Embarrassed, she dropped her hands. Brian looked at me and I stared back at him. “This is Ivy. My temporary personal assistant.”
Then he dismissed us after strictly instructing Ken to prepare an office for me. I noticed all the staffs left except the $lutty secretary. I wanted to stay behind but I had to follow Ken to check out my office.
I’ll deal with her later.

**At Tony’s Mansion**
Marie?
“Mom, you have to find a way to get me into their house. They are only newlyweds not in love with each other yet.
I still have a chance,” I asked as I sat up on my bed. I’ve been trying to convince mom to help me get into Brian’s Mansion but she’s not ready to help.
“Marie, you haven’t fully recovered yet and you still want to go to their house. Who will take care of you there? I told you not to behave rash,” Mom answered.
