EPISODE SIXTEEN
Brian ?
I gulped the whole jug of water in front of me. She actually added chilly to my food. My tongue is on fire. I ran to the kitchen sink, put on the tap and started drinking water trying to quench the fire on my tongue. “Ivy!!!,” I shouted.
Few minutes later, she came in running. “What’s wrong. Why are you calling me like that? I thought you were on silent mode,” she asked looking like an innocent angel. I drank another glass of water and glared at her. “Why did you add chilly to my dinner? What amount of chilly did you even add? Do you want to kill me?,” I asked angrily.
She walked to the kitchen cabinet and brought out an empty bottle. “You won’t die. The chilly I added is not much. I only poured all the chilly in this bottle into your food.” I looked at her still feeling the painful sensation of the chilly on my tongue.
I won’t die after she emptied a bottle of chilly into my food. Is she kidding me right now? She looked at me and saw me blowing air into my mouth with my hands. “You caused this. I tried apologising but you wouldn’t listen to me. You even went as far as ignoring me. I already told you that it’s not intentional,” she said.
Then she moved closer to me and blew air into my mouth.“ I’m sorry okay. I’ll blow air on your tongue. It won’t hurt anymore.” Then she moved her delicious looking lips towards mine and blew air into my open mouth. Is she really unware of how dangerously close how lips are? If I just take one more step closer, I’ll be kssing her.
I wrapped my hands around her waist and pulled her closer. She stopped what she’s doing. “Ivy, I feel like choking you right now but I can’t.” I moved my lips towards hers to kss her. “Why,” she whispered.
“Because I…,” I stopped not knowing what to say. Why can’t I hit her with how angry I am right now? I stopped thinking and claimed her lips. Unlike before when we kssed, she didn’t struggle. She’s even m®aning into the kss. My stomach grumbled and I remembered my interrupted dinner.
I stopped kssing her and smiled when I saw her dazed expression. I pecked her on her nose and said,“Ivy I’ve forgiven you but I really need to eat now. I’m so hungry so please prepare something for me since you ruined my dinner.”
“Okay, you have to assist me in cooking,” she answered smiling mischievously at me. I was about to agree when I remembered the onion incident. No way am I falling into her trap again. I hurriedly shook my head and said,“ I’ve just realized I’m allergic to the kitchen so I can’t help you.”
I scratched my hands to convince her and ran out of kitchen. I could hear her laughing at me.

*Later in the night*
I sat on the bed holding a bunch of keys waiting for Ivy to come out of the shower. She came out in a white nightie. It’s just a simple nightie not seductive but I couldn’t help swallowing my saliva at how beautiful she looks.
She noticed the keys in my hand and asked,“Brian what are you doing with all those keys?” I smiled and shook the keys,“I locked the door and I’m going to keep the keys just in case you lock me out again.”
She laughed and walked to the other side of the bed before climbing in and sleeping on that side. I frowned, she’s sleeping so faraway from me. I rolled to her side and pulled her closer. “What are you doing? I’m so tired and I want to sleep,” she said sleepily.
I cuddled her making sure her head is now laying on my chest. “Ssh, I won’t try anything. Just go to sleep.” I patted her hair softly and I could feel her smile on my bare chest. She snuggled closer like she’s holding a teddy bear and put her hands around me. Gradually, I fell asleep watching her sleep.

Ivy?
The rays of the sunlight that sipped into the room gradually woke me up. I could hear sounds of strong fast heartbeats that surely doesn’t belong to me. I looked up and saw Brian’s sleeping face.
I’m almost ontop of him. His hands wrapped around me tightly. I smiled and watched him sleeping so peacefully. He’s so cute when asleep unlike when he’s awake and always seem to trouble me.
When I decided that I’ve stared at him long enough, I tried to get out of his tight embrace. While I was struggling, I grabbed something so hard and pointy. He groaned and woke up. “ What a nice way to wake me up.”he said. And I froze in panic realizing I’m touching his thing.
“Why is it so hard?”
“It’s called morning wood. All men are always hard early in the morning. But I won’t be able to know if it’s actually morning wood or reaction to something else,” he muttered and I blushed realizing I’m still touching his thing. I hurriedly let go and stood up from the bed before dashing to the bathroom. I could still hear his soft laughters from the room.

When he came out from the walk-in closet dressed and was leaving the room. I also took my handbag and followed him. He stopped and looked at me. “Where are you going?,” he asked.
I looked at wondering why he’s asking such a stupid question. “ I’m going to work of course.”
He shook his head negatively and laughed before saying,“ Ivy as your husband and your boss, I hereby decree that you have been given a permanent leave from work and you are not allowed to revoke the command.”
I dropped my handbag and said,“ I’ll be so bored at home alone and I’ll be so uncomfortable knowing you will be with that slut Kim at the office. Brian, you have to sack her.” He smiled and kissed my cheek,“I thought you didn’t care but don’t worry, I’ll sack her and you can go home to visit anyone you miss.”
I thought of Mrs Helen and pecked his chin happily. “Thank you. Have a nice day at work today and don’t look at any other lady.” He smiled and replied,“I won’t” Then he walked out.

Marie ?
I stared at the files in shock. Gasping, I read the pages. What have I done to myself. It says in the course of saving dad’s company Brian actually bought 52% of the shares in father’s company for his wife, Ivy. His wife, Mrs Faye who was supposed to be me until I stupidly rejected the offer.
This means dad only has 20% shares left. Ivy, that bitch will be enjoying what’s supposed to be mine. I won’t let this happen. I have to tell mom about this. I kept the files back immediately and walked out.
