?Dana’s POV ?
“Well, I won’t like to stay, how will I spend five whole years here?” Jason answered the man.
“Are you sure? Have you made up your mind?” The man asked starring keenly at him.
“Yes sir, I’m very sure of it, even a month is too much not to talk of five whole fives, I definitely can’t” he added and looked at me.
“Let’s get out of here Dana, let’s just go” he said to me but I aren’t thinking like him.
I am curious, I want to find out about everything, how can I not want to when its suddenly transformed my life.
Everything in me changed and according to him there are still things to be found out.
Who knows if I have other abilities?
If I stay behind I will be able to discover them right?
Yes, five months is not too much, I’m sure my guardians will be very happy if I take a leave for a whole five months so I think I’ll stay.
This findings are way too important to me.
“Dana, are you staying?” The man’s voice broke into my thoughts.
“Don’t tell me you’re staying, Dana” Jason said with wide eyes.
“There are things I want to learn, Jason, I really want to find out how all these stuff works, I can’t, don’t wanna waste this opportunity given to me, I wanna find out what caused all these changes so yes I’m staying” I said the last part and looked at the man.
Jason scoffed and took his eyes off me.
He looked down and looked at me again.
“Dana, are you sure? You can still reconsider yunno” he said coyly.
“Jason, I’ve made my decision and you’ve made yours, don’t try to change my mind, please” I replied him.
The man came closer to us.
“Good choice Dana. And Jason are you really sure about this? You might turn to an ev!l monster, aren’t you scared of that fact alone? Can’t you sacrifice just five years to avoid such calamity?” The man said and Jason shook his head.
“I have to leave, I’m sorry but I can’t stay” Jason answered.
“Alright then, you can go” the man pointed to a direction.
Our eyes followed his direction and its happened to be a huge circle of light rotating on the wall.
“You..you want me to pass through that?” Jason pointed at it.
“Yes, that is your only exit home if you wish to go” the man replied.
“Seriously? Are you sure it won’t harm me?” He inquired with a hint of fear in his voice.
“It won’t Jason, come on, go on” the man encouraged and he walked to the wall and peeped into it.
“Alright then” he left out a huge sigh and looked at me.
“I’ll miss you” he cooed and walked into the light and its immediately closed up, like it swallowed him up, then after some minutes it reopened and started rotating like before.
The man turned to me and smiled.
“You made a very good decision Dana, you’re a true leader – a true Tara” he smiled and went to pick up his big book again.
He started scribbling a lot of stuff into it and after a while gave me the book and paper and showed me where to put my signature to.
I signed and gave him back the book and pen.
“Welcome, you’re officially one of our great student and a Tara for that matter. You’ll be specially recognized.”
“Sorry sir, but what is Tara?” I questioned him puzzled.
“Hmm lemme just give you a little explanation on what Tara truly means.”
“You have the book with you, the book of wishes” he said and pointed to the lighting book.
“That book belongs to you and you’re the real owner, your powers are very great, then Jason also got his powers from the book but he’ll not be as powerful as you are, his powers are limited to yours because he got his Powers from the book which is yours, so making you the leader – the Tara.”
“We only have six of them in this world.”
“And this is the sixth and last one, even if you die the book will disappear and wait until you’re reborn before its returns to you.”
“So, you’re one of the most powerful creature on earth – A Tara, your wishes shall come to pass so I advise you don’t wish for bad things because they’ll definitely happen some day” he concluded with a smile.
I exhaled understanding the whole thing bit by bit.
“Thanks sir, you said that they are only six of them, how come then that there are a lot of people my age outside?” I questioned.
“Well, out of the students there, there are just two who has the book, the rest are there mano’s” the man answered.
“Mano’s?” I asked.
“Yes, Jason is your mano because he came in contact with your book.”
“The other three are distributed amongst us.”
“I have one, the founder of this organization has one and a teacher which you’ll soon meet also has one” he explained and I nodded.
“The rest of the things will be learnt later, the others are waiting for you, go on and meet with them” he beckoned and the door opened.
The lady on black which we first saw walked in.
“Follow me” she said simply after bowing to the Dean.
Then she started walking out and I followed her.
?Jason’s POV ?
I found myself in the woods after being in darkness for a while.
The same place we last saw.
I exhaled deeply and started walking out of the woods when something happened.
I noticed that everywhere I walked pass caught fire.
Before you know it the fire was spreading round.
My feet, my hand and almost all my body were on fire but they weren’t burning, just the woods.
But, how the h*ell? I wondered dumbfounded.
