I’m so happy to be back in school after years of staying in the hospital. Oops, sorry I’ve just been reminded it just three days from my best friend Hannah.
“You are so sick”She roll her eye.
“What are you expecting from someone who just recover”I said chuckling silently before I felt a hand round my waist.
“Hey”I frown as Leo wrap his hand round my waist and attract people attention. Let me do a quick brief about what happened between this three days in hospital.
I finally agree to be his girlfriend during this time, I pleaded with Mom to drop the case after they came apologising. It really surprising but I know something is definitely fishing but Hannah too as no idea of it.
They girls that same day after paying me a visit at the hospital. After that day Zayn left I’ve never seen him again. I would have literally explain everything he heard me and Hannah talking about that day but it wasn’t necessary. It the truth!.
“We are in school stop”I remove his hand from my waist but he place it back there.
“Welcome back to school”he kiss my ear and I blush a bit.
“The school isn’t looking different”
“Where you expecting Merlin to be here and cast a magical spell on it and make it beautiful”Hannah spill out and I frown clenching my fist.
“Hey I haven’t seen Zayn this morning”I look around but the look on Leo change and he remove his hand from my waist willingly.
“Why do you asks of him?”he asks.
“Huh? he is my friend and I haven’t seen him for a total three days isn’t that a bit unspeakable”I scoff.
“Looks like someone is missing me”I heard Zayn voice. I turn around and see him approaching us with his arms spread to receive a hug.
“Jerk a$$”I roll my eye and went to hug him and he tightened his arm around me. Okay this totally what I wish to get because I don’t really want to explain anything.
I’m definitely sure he heard our conversation but since it fine with him, I won’t bother myself anymore. I notice his fist were clenched as he pull away and instead of looking at me he was staring at Leo as they make intense eye contact.
What the both of them?.
“Zayn”I called and tap him.
“Oh so how are you feeling now?”he asks breaking contact with Leo. “I’m fine but someone left the hospital and refused to drop a flower”I frown.
“I’m really sorry, something came up that day and I really had to rush back home”he replied but my instinct tells me he is lying.
“You should explain that to mom because she was mad at you for walking away at that moment in time”
“Sure”he replied.
“I will leave a message_”
“I think it time for class now”Leo Interrupted and wrap his hand round my neck.
“What wrong with you?”I tried to push him away but he held unto me tight and I notice Zayn fist clenched into balls again.
“You will be late for class”
“How is that your business?”
“Who is the new girls with the pink angels?”Hannah said and that caught my attention.
I push Leo away and turn only to see the last person I expect in Wesley’s. She was walking majestically with the pink angels girls.
“Veena?”I muttered and Leo turned too immediately he heard her name.
My eye met Zayn and he had that smirk on but it wiped off when he saw me staring at him.
“Omg Leo”She ran into him pushing me aside and hug him while she stick her tongue out at me.
“What is going on here? What are you doing here”Leo push her away from him gently and I chuckled silently.
“Aren’t you happy to see me?”She questioned. I don’t understand what’s going on here.
“That isn’t an answer to my question”he replied.
“Who is she?”Hannah move to my side and whispered to me.
“She is Veena the girl I told you about”
“What is she doing here?”
“I don’t know but can’t you see the looks on the girls face?”
“I didn’t know you are related to Leo”Emily was the first to talk and I can feel some rage in her voice.
“Oh Leo and I aren’t related. He is my boyfriend”She replied
“What?!”Kate screamed out.
“I thought she broke up why is still claiming him?”Hannah whispered to me.
“How do you expect me to know”
“We should leave right he isn’t even saying anything I guess you are right he still love the bch”
“Yeah let leave”She pulled my hand and we were about to walk away when Leo call my name.
“What?”I sounded so harsh as I turn ready to unleash my anger at him.
“That my girlfriend and I don’t want to have anything to do with you again.I know who sent you here but it definitely not going to work”he said directly to Veena and my eye widened.
“And for you girls if you try to hurt her again I’m not going to allow any case been resolved amicably”he said and walk towards me pulling me by my wrist and drag me away.
“What are you doing Leo”I whispered to him as he drag me away from the rest.
“Why are you talking like that?”he asks.
“What are you doing?”I sounded audible this time around.
“I’m not going to allow anyone hurt you because of me again and In addition you are now my girlfriend and I know why that bitch is back so I need to be extra careful”
“Why do you sound like some kinda danger is coming to wipe us all”I replied and he stopped making stop too.
He face me and took a step closer. “What are you doing?”
“I will do anything to protect you no matter what so you don’t need to be bothered about anything”he said to me. Fine! that was kinda weird and awkward until I see student staring at us.
“Can you take a step back please?”I asked.
“Why?”
“We are drawing many attention”
“Really?”he ask still staring at me.
“Yes”I replied looking around but I can still feel his eye on me.
“Can you stop staring at_”I turn to face him but instead he grab my cheek and lock our lips together and my eye widened.
What is wrong with him.
