KARLA
I’ve been sleeping for so long and it getting tiring. I’m perfectly okay but the doctor insist I have a good bed rest before I can be discharged. I’m seriously bothered about the pink angels.
Why would they wish me death and even want to kill me in such a brutal manner. I know what going through your mind now, I actually couldn’t figure out what happened this morning but everything was clear but I couldn’t mention them to Mom.
Mom left a minute ago after feeding me my lunch. I can’t tell anyone about this because I know those girls are just so desperate but my life is at risk right now and in addition I don’t know how much words I spill out to Leo that night.
He definitely knows I’m the girl he slept with and he wants me to be his girlfriend?!.
Isn’t that too soon and that totally unpredictable. I’m confused at myself right now too because I wasn’t expecting him to act that way.
“Karla”someone yelled my name and I recognize the voice very well because it scream my name every morning.
“Da da”Hannah showed up holding a bag of grocery probably filled with something I’m craving for.
“Is that for me?”I asks pointing at the bag and she frown.
“At least you would I’ve pretend to be happy on seeing me”she murmured and threw the bag on my tummy.
“Ouch”I groaned in a fake pain.
“Go ahead and die”She stick her tongue out and I laugh.
“So how are you feeling?”She asks sitting on the stool beside my bed.
“From someone who nearly killed me”I scoffed.
“So tell me what happened?”She change the topic.
“Like what?”
“I know you remember everything so quit. They did this to you”She said with a very serious tone and I blink twice.
“What are you talking about?”
“Are you dump Karla? they try to kill you for whatever reason we both know and you are letting them go? What if they plan something worst and no one is there to save you”She scold me.
“Hey lower your voice I don’t want someone hearing us”
“So I’m right?”She frown and I close my eyes shut taking a deep breathe before opening them back.
“Why me?”I tears to hold back the tears that are about to roll down my eye.
“Karla can you stop acting weak already ?. I know you are tough girl and you go soft anytime they hurt you huh?. Even when your vrgnty was taken from you. You act all stupid and cool and can’t even face him and tell him”
“He knows now”I blurted out and she gasped.
“How?”
“I don’t know what happened but I was sure I dial Zayn number after you didn’t pick up that night and I’m choking to death. I’m very sure I didn’t call leo number because I don’t even have it but he show up that night”
“Leo save you?”She asks in surprise.
“Yeah he brought me to the hospital but before that_”I pause and play my finger.
“Can you stop keeping me on suspense”She frown.
“I told him about our night, we kssed and he asks me to be his girlfriend”I replied it so fast and Hannah mouth is hanging in air right now.
“What?”I roll my eye.
“Leo asks you to be his girlfriend after he found out he spend the night with you?”She repeated.
“Yes”I replied trying to study her look.
“And what do you say?”
“What do you expect me to say? I didn’t even get the chance to reject him before mom Interrupted and he took Alex home”I blabbered.
“Reject him? Are you crazy karla what if he the father of your baby?”
“What baby?”
“Karla just stop joking with me and tell me the truth”
“I’m not pregnant”I defended.
“But you had an unprotective sex with Leo and it your first time so there is tendency of you getting pre.gnant”
“Hannah you are driving me crazy, stop it!!”
“What the point in rejecting him?”She asks.
“I don’t know”I blurted out.
“You like him?”She asks and I was mute for a while.
“You like him?”she repeated.
“Fine yes!! but I don’t want to date a guy who still can’t get over his ex”I replied.
“But he hasn’t been mentioning Veena since you came together”
“That not the point”
“Explain better please”
“Leo is clearly not on a good term with Zayn because of me and here it is I’m almost killed because of them and I just didn’t mention it to anyone. I think I’m been watched nowadays”
“What do you mean by been watched?”
“Hannah can you stop interrogating me?” I shun her off as I open a snack and start eating.
“Zayn! why are you standing there?”I heard my mom voice from the door and it truly her. She open the door and drop her bag on the table revealing Zayn.
“You’ve been standing there so long, why didn’t you come in?”Mom asks Zayn who just stood at the door and keep staring at me.
Oh no! My eye widened and I exchange glance with Hannah. Tell me he didn’t overhead our conversation.
