It’s been over 24 hours since I last heard from Liyah, my one and only BFF!!. I miss her so much. Her trouble, her smiles, her clumsiness, her….her…. everything.
Maybe I shouldn’t have accepted to bring her and Kyle together. Or maybe I should have gone with her to the hotel or something!
I was suppose to call her, since I couldn’t go with her. That’ll have made her know I still care!
“I should have called her to check on her” I thought
“It’s not too late, Mel” my subconscious mind said
I chuckled
That’s true. I can still call her before lunch. I know she’s going to scream over the phone but at least, I get to hear her voice!!
“Mel, are you ok?” Lian asked
I smiled
“Yeah, just that I miss Liyah”
“I miss her too, especially her trouble” he said
I laughed
If you get to know Liyah, you’re going to miss her a whole lot when she’s not available.
“Did you try calling her?” Lian asked
“No, I did not bother calling her. I wanted her to spend time with Kyle”
He groaned
“She’ll be so angry at you right now” he said
I sigh
“I know”
“She’s going to rip your head off when she sees you, and that’s today” he said
I groaned
He doesn’t need to remind me that!!!
“You know Liyah so well, why did you not call her. Now you’re in for it. When she sees you just run cause she won’t spare you. Not for anything. Not at a…….”
“Can you please not remind me of my predicament” I whined, cutting him short
He chuckled
“You should sympathy with me not mock me you know” I said
He laughed
“You sure know she’s angry with us all including her sis. Just that we’ve got different punishment” he said
I sat up
“You see, I was thinking if I should call her now at least to reduce my punishment” I said
He laughed and I glare at him
“Sorry, I just couldn’t control my emotion. Did you see the look on your face!!” He said admist laughter
I groaned
“You’re still laughing at me” I whined
“No no no, I’m not” he answered still laughing
I groaned
“You know what, I’ll go redeem myself” I said standing up
“Where are you going to?” He asked
“New World Beijing Hotel, bro. If she wants to break my head, let her do it now”
“Like seriously??” He asked
I nodded
“Like seriously, just wish me luck bro”
“I wish you all the best. I’ll make sure I get the ambulance ready, just in case you lose a tooth, sprain your ankle, or even lose your head” he said
My eyes widen
“What??!!”
“He laughed
“We both know you’re not going to come back complete, so let me help you get ready ok” he said
“Are you indirectly planning for my funeral? Huh?” I asked
He chuckled
“No, I’m just looking out for you. Remember the boys code. We should look out for each other you know” he said trying hard not to laugh
I groaned
“Whatever!!!” I said, walking to the door
“Good luck bro!!” He yelled
“Just shut up and bye ok?!!” I yelled, shutting the door
I sigh
I don’t care what happens, if she breaks my head or not. All I know is that I’ll go see Liyah!!

After Audrey left, I stood up from the couch and went to sit on the bed. I know that girl is up to something but I just can’t place my hand on it. But whatever it is, I’ll find out and if I do, I’ll so treat her fk up.
I checked the time, it was a few minutes to noon and Liyah or should I say Nara’s not back
“I should go check her” I thought
I stood up and went outside. I saw Alvin standing by the door.
“Have you seen Nara?” I asked
“I mean Taliyah” I added
He smiled
“She’s downstairs” he said
I went down the stairs, Ivory was at the reception.
“Hi cutie” I greeted
“Hi Kyle” she answered
She smiled nervously
“How was your night?” I asked
“Fine Kyle, how’s your wife?” She asked
I smiled
“You mean the princess?”
“She’s a princess?” She asked with shock written all over her face
I chuckled
“Yes, North Richland princess”
“What?, I never knew” she said
I rolled my eyes
“Nobody knows”
“You should get going Kyle, I won’t her coming and glaring or screaming at me” she said
I nodded in agreement
“See you around Ivory”
“See you Kyle” she answered
I know she’s still afraid of Liyah. Who wouldn’t be? That girl’s a psych©path!!
??Taliyah??
Now that Sheila knows about my real identity, I really do feel at peace. I’ve been thinking, of the way to tell her. I knew sooner or later, she’s going to find out.
I never knew it’ll be sooner than later. But I’m still happy she knows anyway. I thought she was going to freak out or maybe run away. But instead, she embrace me and I love that.
I’ve missed her so much
“You’ve missed her and you couldn’t call her? Huh?. How will you even do when you don’t have her number” my subconscious mind said
I chuckled
“Quit chuckling and gist me. Or don’t you miss me?” She asked
I grinned
“If I don’t miss you, i won’t be sitting here with you. You know that” I answered with an eye roll
She groaned
“You’re just as proud as always” she said
I rolled my eyes
“Whatever, do you want the gist or not?” I asked
“Of course, i do!!” She answered chuckling
We gisted about random things but later based specifically on art and crafts.
“You mean you visited Italy?” She asked
I grinned
I just told her about my visit to Italy for an exhibition. It was a wow!!
“I told you I would” I said
She nodded
“Yeah, you said that but I thought your dad won’t let you?” She asked
I smiled
“Yeah, I thought so too but luck shined on me. Dad had a royal meeting at Italy that same time. I offered to go with him and he accepted”
“He accepted? He did not complain?” She asked
I nodded
“That mean he doesn’t know you went there for an exhibition” she said relaxing her back
I chuckled
“Well he knows”
“He knows and he did no say anything?” She asked
“Yeah”
“You’re such a lucky girl” she said
I rolled my eyes
“You’re lucky to have me then”
She laughed
“Nara, I want actually thinking we could be more than just friends” she cooed
I laughed
“You want us to be best friends?” I asked
She chuckled and nodded like a baby
“Pay me. 100 zillion dollars, ten different mansions in ten different countries, 200 latest cars, visit to five different counties, te…………”
“What??? Just to be your best friend?” She asked, cutting me short
I grinned
“Am I not worth it? Huh?” I asked
She rolled her eyes
“You’re worth it. You know what? I don’t want to be your friend anymore!!” She yelled and made to stand up but I held her
“Come on, you can’t beg me?” I asked
She groaned
“Beg you? H.ell no!!” She said and made to leave but I stopped her
“Ok, I’ll just consider you” I answered
She rolled her eyes
“Consider me? Huh? You’re such a proud Peacock” she said folding her hands
I laughed
“But you still love me like that right?” I asked
“Sure” she said hugging me
“I love you” I cooed
“I love you too sassy princess of North Richland” she answered back
“So we’re cool right. I mean best friend?” She asked
“Sure. I’ve considered you my BFF for long”
“Really”
I nodded
She sat beside me and we chatted. We were deep into our chat when we heard someone call Sheila. Judging from the perfume and voice, I know it’s Kyle
“What is he going here!!!”

I went outside and into the garden. She was seated with Sheila. They were so deep into their chat that they did not notice me.
“Hi Sheila” I cooed
She raised her head up
“Kyle” she called
I smiled
“What’re you doing here?” Taliyah asked
I groaned
“Nara, I’m not here for you, ok?” I said
She groaned
“Can you quit calling me that?” She asked
I chuckled
“But that’s your name, Nara. Or are you still ashamed of your name?” I asked
She glare at me
“It’s none of your business!!” She yelled
“Nara!” Sheila cooed
“Stay out of this Sheila” she said
I laughed and she groaned
“It can’t be my business. Why’ll I even want to get involve with someone who lies about her identity” I said
“What!!”
“You heard me or do you want to deny?, you want to deny playing two faces for me? Huh?” I asked
“And so what? And so what? Huh?” She asked
“You’re such a pretender” I answered
“Stop acting like you know me ok!!” She yelled
“I might not have known you much but the little I know about you isn’t worth knowing!!” I fired back
I could see anger written all over her
“Kyle, don’t you dare talk to me that way!!” She yelled
“Come on, Nara” Sheila said
I rolled my eyes
“I shouldn’t be wasting my time here” I said
I turned to face Sheila
“Can you please tell this pretending friend of yours that there’ll be lunch with the rest by 1pm?” I asked
She chuckled
“I should excuse you both” she said, standing up
Before I could say something, she was already out of sight
I groaned
We remained quiet for a while
“Look spooky princess, your sis wants us at Lian’s family house by 1pm. I actually for lunch” I said
She glare at me
“Stay out of my way Kyle” she yelled
“Why?” I asked, pretending not to know
She blinked her eyes and I could see a few drops of tears, which she quickly wipe off
“Kyle, please, just stay far away from me ok?!!!” She yelled
I groaned
I must have hurt her beyond what she could take. I think we should just quit quarreling.
She stood up to leave when I called her back
She ignore me and kept walking, I held her hand
“What!!” She screamed
“Can you please calm down. I only want to apologize” I said
She rolled her eyes and tried freeing herself
“I’m so sorry ok?. I never really want to make you cry” I cooed
She sigh
“Ge…t the f*ck off!!!” She yelled and finally jerk her hand off mine
I sigh
“Liyah, I’m so sorry ok?”
She hissed
“Stay clear ok!” she said and walked away
“I just thought we could be friends!!” I yelled and she stopped
She turned
“What did you just say?” She asked
“Can we be friends, we should quit all this fight and be friends” I said
She rolled her eyes
“I still don’t get you” she said
“Let’s be friends” I said
“Fk you, fk your friendship!!” She yelled
I groaned
“Come on, I was just thin……..”
“Go to h’ll!!!!”
